First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

The campus is nice and atmosphere is good
The faculty are friendly and solve our doubts any time

Dislikes

The fund from the government are not properly utilised in our college
The college is located outside the main city which leads to transportation problems

Placement Experience:

The placements are dipping a little bit due to the recession and there is a boom in core branch placements like civil and mechanical. But this year two new branches have been added like Ai and data science which show the adaptation of industry trends in our college

Overall environment in the college in pretty good.
Placement of each branch is also satisfactory
Campus size is almost 150 acres which is decent.

Dislikes

75% attendance criteria is something which is difficult to maintain but it's in every NIT.

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty good if you are the one who is going to work hard. Companies do visit, hire and offer handsome salary also. From 7th semester students become eligible for sitting in the campus placement. Percentage of placement lies between 60-95% depends on branch. Highest package goes around 50 LPA and average goes around 6-7 LPA

The faculty members of industrial and production are very supportive and highly knowledgeable. They are very lenient and always there for solving doubts.
Seniors in college are very supportive and are always there for helping juniors either be it with notes, PYQ or anything else non related to academics.
This college supports extra-curricular activities. There are various clubs like R-tist(Robotics),RAC(Rural Activity Club),RLC(regional Language Club),LADC(Literary and Debate Club),Kalakaar(Dance) ,GSDC(coding)etc.There are various clubs you can join

Dislikes

75% attendence criteria is worse,if you have exhausted your 25% leaves you might be detained or you have to request to the faculties.
College infrastructure is not good enough, its average.
College location is very far away from Jalandhar city it takes around 1-1.5 Hours to reach college from Jalandhar city station and Bus stand.

Reality check of campus

Likes

Great and well defined campus of size 150 acres.
Big playground for sport students and sports facilities are great
Placement of circuital branches are very good

Dislikes

Strict curriculum of electronic related branches
Faculties are very strict and lab faculty also.
Labs are not well defined and instruments are defected

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester, the student are eligible to do 6 months intern. After that , if you are a good student, then you can get a ppo from companies. Every year , many new startup and companies are visited the college and give placement to many students, while some students which are extremely good at coding get double job offers. The average percentage of students which are placed is about 70 % . The highest package is about 70 lakh and the lowest is about 4-5 lakh . My plan after the degree is to take placement in software development field.

Good infrastructure ,greenery is everywhere in campus
Competitive nature around the campus among students
Food facilities in mess of hostels are really good

Dislikes

Some professors are not up to the mark as they only taught theory part
Not much facilities for sports and other hobbies
Professors provides much burden on students for acquiring at least 75 percentage attendence

Placement in our college is preety good near about 18 lack in case branch.. In 7 semester students become eligible for placement Microsoft,Amazon, oracle,Infosys,Goldman sacs,samsung,Flipkart ,etc companies visit the campus a good number of offers they provide to students Highest package is 62 lack by Amazon Avg package 18 lack Near about 90 percent students gets placed in case branch I want to be placed in good companies as swe

Location is good for view but market is too far from there

My branch is mechanical Engineering.so curriculum of this branch is little bit busy rather than other branches.there are two exam mid term and end term which is 30 and 50 marks respectively.and other 20 marks will be given through quizzes and assignments . Monday to Friday is working days.classes form 8:30 to 5:30

I like the students bonding and a healthy learning platform i have found here i have learnt so many things in this college because I come in rural place and there is nothing like here
My department is ECE and I get all opportunities which helps me for improving my overall personality ,
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field

Dislikes

According to my own opinion some students after come in college fot distracted they think that they got college and easily get placement but college only provide platform but all other things you will learn yourself
So many clubs in the college , club is good but maximum 1 or 2 is more than sufficient for a student but many students join a lot of clubs so that they don't have proper time for their own personality development and learning things which will help i
The last one is known by everyone professor is well educated but they don't know how to teach , and that's worst things in my college

Placement Experience:

In my college placement is okay ???? but due to recession in India many companies didn't hire in this year so that placement have decreased with respect to previous year . In the 7 semester companies allow to hired and students got placed in my ECE a company zemtech hired 58 students mass placement so that 70%student have placed in this year. I have two plans plan A placement and plan B psu so that I'm preparing for gate also .

My college from my eyes

Hostel - the hostel which i opted BH-1 was the best hostel among all , the maintenance, the cleanliness and the mess food was also above expectations
As the campus is not ao big so you don't have to walk more for classes
The faculties - faculties are really very helpful except one or two

Dislikes

The timings - For first year students,they are allowed to go outside their hostels till 10 p.m. only , the same is for girls of all years
Fests - i didn't liked the fest because of its management
Strict rules - there are many strict rules imposed on students

Placement Experience:

From 6th or 7th semester you become eligible for campus placement. There are many big companies like flipkart , reliance etc visits every year. Along with private companies some PSUs like HPCL,BPCL comes for placement.highest package ever offered in this collegw was in 2022-23 was 1.2 crores, the average package ranges from 8 to 10 lakhs for core branches like mechanical,chemical etc and 10 to 13 for circuital branches. This year mechanical and chemical engineering observed 100 percent placement. I want to go for masters after completing my degree

A lush green campus with lots of clubs and lot of new things to explore. Very supportive and cordinative teachers

Dislikes

The academic curriculum is tough and the attendance criteria is also very strict.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is quite good average package of the college is around 14 lpa and it provides good intership opportunities to its students as well lots of companies visits the campus for the placement

I really liked the sports facilities of the college
The library and reading room facilities.
The quality of faculties is also very good.

Dislikes

The campus Life is not good. The campus is full.
The weather here is not good . The summer season is unbearable.
The curriculum is very strict and not so productive

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester the college students become eligible for the campus placements. A lot of companies like BPCL, Amazon, maruti suzuki , Accenture came here this year for campus placements.The highest package of our ME branch this year was 18 LPA and the average is 8.3 LPA. Thetr is 100% placement this year from our branch. My plan is to get campus placement in the core field .

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
