First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

NIT-JALANDHAR (MY POINT OF REVIEW)

I like feculties here they are much supportive except some as usual in school
Seniors are very and interactive. you can approach him to solve your doubts or queries
Infastructure is also very good and they focus in infrastures

Dislikes

Mess food :- here you will find all the things but all mess food will not according to you because of diversity of students
Hostel room :- very small hostel room here room is for 1 person but they adjusted two person in that single room

Placement Experience:

See here after 4th sem you have to join an internship program of 6 months and 4 months. And after 7th sem. companies visit like a trident, Vardhman, and many other companies. The highest package of textiles was almost 24 lpa this year. average package was 8 lpa. See this depends on how you learn in 4 years

NIT JALANDHAR : Not what you expects and is what you don't expect

Likes

I liked the environment here. It is very comfortable for studying.
There is importance for extracurricular activities, even we have credits for that.
All classrooms are AC fitted and There is library for studying which is full AC.

Dislikes

I don't like the food here. It has no spice at all Feels like eating oats when you eat it regularly
There exist a language barrier of punjabi and hindi. Those who don't know both of these must have some struggles, especially ones from south india
There are many assignments and projects and quizzes, so you wil be struggling for other skills . You'll have to manage your time well for that

Placement Experience:

Here placements are somewhat good as it is a NIT, but not as much as compared to other NITs. In my branch the placement percentage was above 90%. Average package was 7.35Lpa and highest was about 14lpa My plans are to go for off-campus placements if I'm not satisfied with the placement here. Here companies Like BPCL,Siemens etc visit the college for placement offers and interviews.

Here Junior and senior are more friendly
Here professor are very helpful you can ask them any type questions related to academic or personal
The campus is lust green campus and 165 acers is area

Dislikes

For 1st year here much academic pressure
Getting cgpa is quite tough than other colleges according to seniors

Placement Experience:

Fourth year student are eligible for placement but second year student can get summer internship and in fourth year student are going for 6 month internship ship with half class capacity in each 7th and 8th semester

I like the Campus greenary , buildings..
Beautiful architecture of the buildings.
No. Of canteens offering various foods items

Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very much in the college
The college is always under the construction
The subject of the courses are tough in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is overall good. Im my branch students are learning both about core and software but the core subjects are tough and time consuming so it is difficult to manage both. There are two exams throughout the semester mid sem and end sem.

Likes

Faculty are helpful for students all the time.
The college staff is very good in behaviour.
The is large , lush green and clean all the time.

Dislikes

For first year students, 4 seater hostel room are alloted
Students must have 75 % attendance in individual subject for sitting in exam.
Mess food is not good as i expect and if you want special thing extra you have to pay for it.

Placement Experience:

In my college, mostly students get campus placement . After 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement. All tech companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS , Flipkart etc and other Non- Tech companies like BMW, Mercedes etc. Highest Package is 52 lack and average package is 12 lack of my branch (IT). 85 % students getting placement. After completion my degree I want to join Tech company.

The placements in our college is very good and it depends upon your branch and your skills in your respective branch. There are lot of campus placements and internship opporunities that will help for industry ready.

The greenary in the campus .and the infrastructure is very good.

There are the better cleaning in all hostels
There is no ragging like things in the college
All professors are very friendly . And helpful in study

Dislikes

Library is not open for 24 hours library open only 9AM - 5 PM
Mess food is not good some times it is good
Profess take exam gate level and not relief in marks marking

Placement Experience:

Placement is better than most of all privet colleges and some nit's. And Professor prepare for student for IES and GATE so you can a govt job easily after your B.Tech .you can take placement in some dream company like Microsoft.

Likes

I like the atmosphere of the college
The transparency they have in the examination systems.
The sport participation of the college in various tournaments.

Dislikes

Although the infrastructure is good but it could have been better.
The fests and festivals could have been celebrated in more cheerfully in short the budget given to the clubs to organise fests are very less to have a grand celebration.
The timing issues on girls could have been better. It's way too early even for senior girls, like it's 10 pm for senior girls also. And for senior boys it's 24 hours.

The on campus placements are decent . Campus has its own placement cell and helps students to get placed in reputed companies. Although the placement for tech branches is better than the core branches . The average package of civil was around 7-7.5 LPA this year but the package of tech branches is generally high and they are from companies like microsoft , amazon etc.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
