First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

beyond the campus: reflecting my time at Nit Jalandhart

very good academic plan and systematic plans for study
very good infrastructure and sports facilities , good canteens inside campus , lush green campus , good mess food etc
good placement and internship oppertunities

Dislikes

very strict attendance policy as all attendance is uploaded on erp online portal
not very good hostel facility for the 1st year students but then after you pass first year very good hostels with good rooms are provided
as this collage is far from city so city life is still missing from your collage life

Placement Experience:

after third year means 6th sem , students are eligible to sit in the placements , the overall placement rate stood at 86.3% for btech the highest placement offered was 52 LPA .companies like glodman sachs , bpcl , cvent , honda , havells , amazon etc came as recruiters . average package for btech was 9.48 lpa . my plan after getting degree is to get a placement in my core field

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute Of Technology Jalandhar has decent campus area.
Infrastructure and other facilities like hostels, sports, safety, etc are improving day by day.
Good Placements and proficient guidance from faculty helps students to get placed.

Dislikes

Facilities like hostels to day secular, transportation, etc are to be provide for increasing students interest
Canteens, swimming pools, marked grounds for different sports are not available.
Course curriculum is quite hard and traditional to meet present problems.

Placement Experience:

Second year student are eligible for placements and internships. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. provide thousands of placement offers. Amazon provide highest package of 1.2 Cr. to Electronics and Communication Branch student. Average package is 10 Lakhs per year.

The campus here is lush green and far from city so atmosphere is clean.
Rich in culture as people from all around India and some outside from India are there to study.
Professors are friendly and help quite a lot with placements and other opportunities.

Dislikes

Some of the infrastructure could have been better.
Being far away from city is not a good thing as we have to travel a lot to reach markets.
Some of the hostel facilities aren't that good especially hygiene and cleanliness in washrooms.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible after 4th semester for the placement and internship opportunities in this college and companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon etc. visit this campus for hiring. Offers made are quite good and most of the students get hired here easily if they've worked hard. Highest package was around 1.3Cr and overall avg package is somewhat 12-16 LPA here including all branches. My plans include getting a good placement and later on work on some research in the future in some foreign country too.

Information from first year.

Likes

First thing that strike my mind while considering the likes in the campus will be definetly the professors.In my branch proffesors are better helping students and guiding them.I can say this because in the first year we had subjects of other brances
sports facilities and support.fully active sports members and gym
meeting people from different parts of india and very few forign students.exchanging the knowledge and culture

Dislikes

food availabilities.many of them are unhygenic and expensive(except nescafe but costly )
responds from academic section for some documents or information are not good enough and delay
campus is besides the highway and almost 17 km from city.difficult to go out for any needs.

Placement Experience:

during 3rd year students are eligible for interwiews.many companies visit the campus for placing mostly electronics companies and it also.in my branch there is 100% placementfor those who are eligible .many of them are at it sector,average package of 8.5la/ann.higest will be between 20-25la/ann.

THE COLLAGE CAMPUS HAS ALL THE NECESSARY THINGS INSIDE
THE HOSTAL FOOD IS VERY GOOD AS COMPARED TO OTHER COLLAGES
THE PROVIDE OF MENTOR (THEIRD YEAR) TO THE FRESHERS HAS HELPED US.THE FACULTY IS WELL EQUALIFIED.

Dislikes

THE COLLAGE IS IN OUTSKIRTS OF JALANDHAR WHICH CAUSE STUDENT TO TRAVEL MORE TO GET IN TOUCH TO THE CITY.
THE CAMPUS IS QUITE SMALL ACCOURDING TO OUR EXPECTATION.

Placement Experience:

THE PLACEMENT OF COLLAGE IS GOOD. THE AVEAGE PACKAGE IS ARROUND 948000 PER ANNUM HIGGEST PACKAGE IS AROUND 60 LPA. THE BIG COMPANIES LIKE AMAZON AND MICROSOFT VISITS THE COLLAGE. IF YOU WANT TO STUDY FURTHER THEN YOU CAN GO FOR MBA IN IIM AMEITSAR

NIT Jalandhar - Should I opt it?

The faculties have good subject of knowledge and are always helpful to students in every aspect including studies, placement and anything more.
College has good infrastructure- well built area of 150 acres and houses many buildings and a huge student activity centre.
Many canteens in college campus to eat a variety of food.

Dislikes

College is situated on the outskirts of the city and many of the works require to go to City which is not convenient without personal Vehicle.

Placement Experience:

Students start getting placement as early as 7th semester and get placements upto end of 8th semester. Many companies including Amazon, Nvidia visit our campus regularly and provide placement opportunities. Highest package goes high upto 54 LPA while average package is around 10-12 LPA. Placement percentage lies around 80% and everyone seriously wanting a placement gets placed with a good package.

mainly i have no dislike for this college
and food of some hostels is very good but for some other it has okay okay food
but its hostel has no ac and cooler facility

campus placement is good they have good placement cell and thier are many activities for student for thier placement and havingoverall good placement like for cse it is to be 19lakhs per annum average.

6 th semester onwards students are eligible i think , many companies visit our campus like google, amazon, nvidia, microsoft. avaerage package is 8-10 lac. 70-90% is palcement rate depending on branch and students not getting placements try off campus placements

The cool Nit jalandhar

In Nit jalandhar there is very much greenery. Campus is very neat and clean.
There are also well structured, fully AC reading rooms in our campus. The campus is fully wifi including reading rooms, hostels, labs etc.
Our classrooms is fully AC. Labs are very much well structured. All the equipments are in working

Dislikes

There are very much quizes and assignments given by the teachers.
The fees of the supplementary exams are high. And there is also a 75% attendance criteria that is strictly followed.

The placement of my college is very good. The average package for all the branches is the 10 Lpa. And the minimum package is 5 Lpa and maximum package is 60 Lpa. Most of the big companies visit our campus for placements. And also give internships. If you have no get placement and if you want to go for further studies, then you can go for MBA in IIM Amritsar and PhD in IIT Roorkee directly.

NIT'J - CAMPUS FOR GROWTH BEYOND LIMITS

i like their student to faculty ratio that us quite good not as gooas iits
its crowd is decent mostly from punjab region only and up and rajasthan

Dislikes

there fest are boring and doesn't have much fun for me
its location is big turnoff factor as it is around 15 km away from the city and have difficulty in reaching college as auto driver if alone charges a lot

Placement Experience:

placement are good for tech as well as non-tceh but lacks in consulting job roles which is a big turn off for me overall placement ratio is good and 23 batch of mechnaical has scored 100% placement this year with good packages.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
