First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Review of Nit Jalandhar

I liked placement and internship opportunities in the college
I like the technical fest that held every year
I like hostel whic includes all the facilities including lift mess etc.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough. From 7 th semester students are eligible Reliance, zs associates,trident,BPCL,hmel ,etc. Highest package is of 19 lakh offered by BPCL Students getting 100%placement in the chemical course. My plans after getting the course is to avail job offers.

Here there is a healthy and friendly environment in the campus
One of most important thing is that there is zero ragging in our college and there is active anti ragging cell which takes action towards ragging.
Here the quality of teaching is excellent and the professors are friendly with the students

Dislikes

Here humidity is more which may feel discomfort for many

Likes

The college is taking constant effor to improve the infrastructure of the college system and campu
Campus life is also vivid and healthy. There is no ragging snd the peers have a sense respect among themselves.
There are many events taking place every now and then for the students to enjoy, improve skills and leanring.

Dislikes

The sports infrastructure is weak as of now, but it seems to be improving as well
The teaching methods of the faculties is spectrum in is own. Some trschers are very good in tesching and some lack the energy to do so

Placement Experience:

The placements the college is decent. There is a good placement to application ratio. All the branches are have a stable placement record. There amny reputed companies that come for hiring like Nvidia, Google, Microsoft, etc.

I liked sports facilities here and the coaches are also well trained.
I also liked the food of the canteen.....
I have to say that there is very neat and clean campus..

Dislikes

The hostel snacks is not ok.. and also their chapattis
I also not like the central library.. and around the old departments there is garbage. water is filled between the road during rain..
Also in nitj the gym is small .. not all equipments as compared to the students ..

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are eligible for the placements.. Companies like maruti amazon flipkart wipro tcs etc visited and there is 100% placement is the mechanical branch. highest package is around 52 LPA and average for all branches ids 10- 12 LPA. My pLAN IS TO DOING STARTUP AND i WORK ON THIS

Honest review about NITJ

Likes

This college has students comming from various regions and different diversities where all people blend well.
The faculty is well versed in their subjects and are highly experienced.
There are multiple clubs for students to take part in.

Dislikes

The ratio of girls to boys is very low about 1:5.
The college lacks in providing proper sports facilities.
Students find it difficult to commute to city as the college is located far away from the city.

Placement Experience:

Yes, National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar provides students with placements and most of them get placed into good companies. The average package of mechanical engineering is about 7lpa. Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester. Many popular companies like Mahindra, Honda, Amazon, Microsoft visit this college.

Review for NIT JALANDHAR

Likes

The way teachers teach is quite commendable. They have quite research.
Labs and their practical knowledge is very beneficial
College infrastructure is too good and love that .

Dislikes

Exam Checking criteria is little bit tough
Wifi issues sometimes comes and is like quite irritating if wifi don't comes.
Long hours classes like start from 8;30 and goes till 5:30

Placement Experience:

For internships, they are offered at the end of the 2nd year, and for placements, students can sit for interviews starting at the end of the 3rd year. Major companies like Google, Microsoft, Zscaler, Schrodinger, Accenture, Expedia, and many others visit for campus recruitment. The highest package offered has been 2 crores, while the lowest is around 4-5 lakhs per annum. The current placement rate in the IT branch is about 85-90%. After completing my degree, I plan to start working as placements are usually secured by then.

I like the infrastructure facilities in my college. I like the campus. It is lush green and beautiful.
I like the social life here in my college. As it is a NIT, you get to interact with a variety of people from different groups.
Mess facility and cafeteria foods are also nice here comparing to other NITs.

Dislikes

I dislike the biasing here because of faculties and residents.
I dislike the indulgence of security guard every here and there and the disruption because of them.
I dislike the examination system , grading system and courses structure to be taught here. So much of theoretical studies and less practical studies are here.

Placement Experience:

Placement season in NITJ starts from July ending. Most of the companies come in August and September.

2-3 companies continue to visit every month. 80 percent plus (eligible) students always get placed. College contacts companies to come, they also take resume-building sessions and mock interviews to help students get placed. Till now, the highest CTC offered was 52 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA.
Most preferred companies for electrical engineering courses are Reliance, Technip Energies, HPCL, IOCL, etc. PSUs. Apart from them, most students go to IT companies and prefer companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, ENTNT, ZS Associates, etc. Accenture hired 9 students, Oracle also hired 7. Aarti Industries, etc. companies come and hire in bulk. The CTC offered by them is low (5-6 LPA).
Yes, I feel the placement process is fair, and the placement committee does all it can to get most students placed. Placement scenario in NITJ is better than many colleges.

As I had the Lower gate score as So that I was in less amount of options to choose the course so as I got the NIT jalandhar for Mathematics and computing I took it but the course I saw was completely in Mathematics so I regreate by taking the course as I was having my primary intrest in data science so i would suggest it was my bad decision then i dropped of the institute

Likes

Good campus and infrastructure and the greenery of our campus
Good sports facilities and gym in college and outdoor games facilities are also very good
Faculty members are also very good and 24*7 libraries are open in exam season

Dislikes

College campus in very out location very bad transport facilities
No market area near college you even cant find necessarily item nearby
Canteen service is also very bad you cant find good food in college

Placement Experience:

Very good placements in our college many companies come to our college during our college caampus placements season. In computer science and information technology departments 90 percent of student got placed

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
