First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

NIT Jalandhar, Whether to Consider or not ?

Likes

The Gym facility. The gym is equipped with all the advance instruments.
The Sports Culture. Our college performs well in the inter nit tournaments.

Dislikes

The Campus size . The college is too small.
The competitive programming culture of the college is not so good.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good in my college . The Campus placement drive starts in the final year and it continues till the completion of final year. Major tech giants visit our college including google, microsoft, amazon, rapidfort, oracle, Nvidea,etc. Highest package was offered by Microsoft this year @55lpa. My branch placement is 82% . My plan is to join a faang company as software developer after getting my degree.

Campus Life is good . There is great peace required .
Environment is very good . I like Greenery very much.
Overall Infrastructure is good and well built .

Dislikes

Hostels should be more better and comfortable.
Canteens should be more of good quality.
Curriculum is bit hard and exams level is moderate to difficult which makes difficult to secure good CG.

Placement Experience:

Students have multiple opportunities to excel in their life . Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placements Last year placements for chemical engineering were average . Highest package . A total of 796 offers were received last year . Highest package stood at INR 51 lakhs . Some of the prominent recruiters of NIT J includes Microsoft , Google , Flipkart , OLX ,Paytm etc. Students can also try for OFF campus placements . Students can also opt for Higher Studies and can do business.

Life at NitJalandhar

Likes

Bhangra club is nicest of all clubs .all the events organised by the m are reallly amusingand engaging.
Uttkansh the cultural fest is good as all the thinhs are well arranged throuhout the fest
Reading room is quite advanced creates a proper environment for stdy and focus

Dislikes

Campus area is underdeveloped ,not attractive at all with respect to many of engineering colleges
Food or canteens in college serves very low quality food
Lecture theatre for 1st year are not quite good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The chemical engineering deals with preparation of chemical drug or various designed machines for the part . It is integration of mechanical and biotech . It also has essence of Environmental engineering. You can be a waste water manger in manu of the big private sectors. As with rise of lage mining production in India treatme Process are goint to play a vital role and hence the demnad of chemical engineers will be more .It has an average package of 9 lakhs per annnum . The curriculum plays very well and make job efficient. Every subject has a outcome making you job efficient,you will even be taught subjects other than engineering like English, in which your communication skills will be developed and management to help you job ready.

Campus is really good and peaceful 😁😁😁😁
Infrastructure provided is quite appropriate
Clubs are there for each and every line that you can desire to go in

Mess food is sometimes little annoying 😞
Sometimes too much assignments and work are annoying

Placements here are good. each and every branch here has more then 50 percentage placement and highest package varies from 50 lakh per annum to 15 lakh per annum down the branches. And there are also lot of opportunities to start own company

I love the infrastructure and greenery of campus. The administrative block is simply superb which is in the shape of octagonal
The faculty was too good. The subject of the faculty will be very useful to students
The placement offers of every branch is perfect. The infrastructure of ece,ice,and it department are superb

Dislikes

I didn't like the forest area in campus . there is intime for girls on 10pm itself
I didn't like the cafes inside the campus
I didn't like the outside infrastructure of the campus at the opening which is the gateway of the NITJ

Placement Experience:

From 6 semesters students are eligible for placement offers. Microsoft, Google, scaler, BPCL, Goldman Sach, Accenture, TCL, Infosys, etc. the average package is 12Lpa. 850 students are eligible for placement out of which 750 students are placed in reputed companies. I will go for placement and I will give the gate exam

There is very wonderful placement and internship opportunities available for the students. Companies like Microsoft, Intel, Google, Oracle, TCS, Infosys,etc. Highest package gone from the collage for ECE branch is 1.25 crore rs.

Placement Experience:

6th semester students are eligible for campus placement, I know a senior student having a package of 52 lpa during his 3rd year . Bsnl,aarti industries,Oracle, reliance,Amazon, Google, Microsoft. Highest package secured this year was 52 lakhs by 4 people , percentage of student placed has decreased a bit in last year due to recession but still in core branch like chemical and mechanical engineering has increased to 90 + placement rate.In it sector it is about 65 percent. My plan is to secure a good placement by the end of this degree

Things that I liked in this college are it's great infrastructure and culture

Dislikes

Major problem in college are strict profs who teach very less and cut a lot of marks in exam

The campus placement is good in core and circuital branches in circuital branches like ECE and CSE the avg package is 17lpa and overall it is around 8 to 10 lpa and they also provide some internsips in microsoft and amazon in 3rd and 4th year

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
