First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Nit jalandhar overview

Likes

Hostel rooms are good . Mess food us vetter than other nit's
Sports facility is also good . Gym is also there .
Campus life is good. There are stationary shops , cafes for convinience

Dislikes

Department faculty is worst specially textile department. Would never recommend anyone.
Textile department never supports or appreciates if you want to go to tech. So if you are not interested in core , please don't join.
Internship opportunities in this college is also not good . There are not many companies visiting the campus .

Placement Experience:

Placements are not very good or not very bad . It offers a mediocre placement but it is a bit so it is an added advantage . If you appear for off campus internship or placements it is definately a plus point. Higgtest package -15 lakhs per annum. Average package-5lakhs per annum. Percentage of students that get placed are nearly 60 percent . So if you are interested in core then you can definately get placed in vardhaman which offers the highest package.

Class and infrastructure of the campus is good
Hostel and mess facility is decent and well maintained

campus is not entertaining there is a small campus
Placement this year is not up to the mark
It doesn't focus on extra curricular activities

Placement of college is not as well this year due to recession CSE IT AND ECE BRANCHES have good average and highest packages Branches like Electrical and ICE also have decent packages Otherwise mechanical and chem have also decent

campus environment is good. seniors are ecofriendly
no ragging. ragging is strictly prohibited
fests are very good. faculty members are very good

Dislikes

minimum 75% of attendance is mandatory for all students
only high cgpa matters students are running forgetting cgpa
college does not help you in getting internships abroad

Placement Experience:

for 7 th semester students are eligible for campus placements. companies like wipro,ibm,amazon,flipkart etc will come for placements. average packages will be 5 LPA. 60 % of students are getting placements

Likes

Environment is good, awesome, seniors are friendly
Various events. events like utkansh, aarambh

Dislikes

College does not help in getting internships abroad
We have to maintain 75% minimum attendance
Only high CGPA matters. students are running for getting high CGPA

there are many opportunities in college for placements and they also pays you handsome packages. they are mainly of tech jobs and service jobs. many companies like amazon, google,IBM, microsoft, wipro and many more .

Honeslty, there is nothing which is likeable.
sun, moon, cloud are my favorite in campus.
water, tree, birds are also my favorite in campus.

Dislikes

everything, honestly everything about this college.
class, teachers, classroom, tables, faces.
toxicity, mess food, staff, warden, and everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- Faculty member are not too good because they try to pressurize you through out the year, semester. - They try to use as money plant and not give proper education. - Curriculum needs an updation and changes.

NIT Jalandhar : The Place of Transfornation

PRAYAAS Club , I really could not have asked for a better club to be a part of
Faculty is accomodating and tends to the needs and queries of the students
The scenery of the campus is quite beautiful with flowers and trees all around th campus

Dislikes

The 8:30 AM classes during the winter season
There are some mobile network issues (only the internet)
Sometimes the working staff of the hostel do not do their job properly

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 6th semester Infosys , Samsung, BPL, HCL, Wipro , Amazon , Flipcart, TATA Steel , TATA Motors are among the few companies that visit the campus Highest on-campus package 51LPA and off-campus 1.2 Crores Around 73% students get placements every year I plan to go for higher studies after getting my degree

Introduction to Nit Jalandhar

Likes

The clubs started by our nit such as prayaas, bawre(dance club)
Classrooms have centralised AC and have comfortable seats.
Study favourable environment, also the sports facilities are very good.

Dislikes

Hostel hygiene is not maintained regularly.
Hostel mess have been lag behind in terms of quality food.
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also

Placements begains to start from 3rd year or 6th semester. Students also got internship. Almost 108 companies have visited our nit. Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, IBM, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sach, Samsung, Tata, Accenture, TCS, Zscaler, BPCL are the top companies. In 2023 80% of students are being placed. Average package is 12.44 LPA. Highest package is 51 LPA of it and cs branch.

Likes

Faculty, there is faculty members so much supportive and guidance.
Cleaning,there is no any piece of garbage is out of dustbin.
Sinior is soo helpful and attentive.these help me in my end semester exam

Dislikes

There is so many times entry in hostal gates when we come and out of your room.
There is many chances to lose my things. So I take care of it.
There is so no unnecessary permission to go out of campus area

Placement Experience:

I think after fifth semester we are eligible for campus jobs. There is visited company so many. some of them is Honda, Mahindra, Microsoft and so on. These is 70-80 percent students get job. The highest pakage is 1.2 crore of ECE department. After completing my degree then I want to do MBA for higher studies.

Beauty of Jalandhar

Likes

Best things about nitj is they maintain greenery very well.
Environment is very cool. Campus security very tight.
Faculty is very helpful in study problems as well personal problem.

Dislikes

Level of study is not high as much as should be according to today world.
Books in library are not all types are available.
No good facility for girls cricket team.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to be a professor in mathematics so msc is the minimum requirements for it. 2) 1:2 ... I have 30 student in my class and 15 professor in my department. 3) all professor from different different IITs. The have done their P.hD from iits..... And some of them completed post doc from abroad. 4) it was quite difficult but can handle easily if u have prepared very well and demanding way.

A neutral and quite honest perspective for my own institute

Likes

Fees structure and financial assistance provided by the institute
Social life and annual fests, clubs and other events
Placement opportunities and opportunities for startups etc

Dislikes

Food we get in mess, (I care for home cooked food more than ever)
Infrastructure as Our campus is not that big, along with old buildings needing repairs
Rules and regulations are just too much for us

Placement Experience:

Our institute provides placement offers with a 8Lacs average package with on average of 60% of students placed. Rest of the students mostly opt for further studies either PhD or abroad. My plan is of getting a placement offer than gaining decent experience.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
