First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

The things that I liked in this college are the good infrastructure and healthy college life

Dislikes

Since that I dislike the earth that initially when I came into this college there was some restriction on timing as well as the professors was strict.
You professors are straight and deliberately cut mark for no reason but maximum professors are good.

Placement Experience:

In this college the campus placement are good but for biotech branch its ok is because the percentage of people place is not that much in biotech branch but overall in core branches as well as circuital branches the placements are good.

Beautiful and nice campus in which there is peace
every student is free to do anything such as the student can join any club created here
Prayas is a good program run by college students in which poor children from the college side are being educated

Dislikes

75 percent attendance criteria which is Mandatory for all student
Sports ground needs lights so that sportsperson can practice at night too
college is too small which is only 152acre

Placement Experience:

The average package of the college is 12 lac per annum which is good and the students from the third are became eligible for the placement program. There are many ways for doing job in the courtry. Almost more than half students gets placed and some prepare for the government jobs

Restrictions they had kept on first year students initially
Some super stricts profs who always deducts marks for no reason

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good if you compare with private colleges afterall it's an NIT but here the avg is aroung 12 lpa for cse ece branches it's around 16-17 for textile it's around 7-8 lpa. Considering the opportunities we get here it is overall good but you still have to work hard cause always some students are left unemployed.

Hostels of 1 st year are bad , food bad, washeoom bad room worst

Curriculum is nice ,according to nep, teaching us python and c language in first year regardless of branch , some teachers are exelent like our friends but some teachers !!. They teach us on ppt , due to circuital branch , there is always a confict that should we take placent in core or it

Beautiful infrastructure and campus life, different sports opportunities as I am in cricket club.
Different clubs are there to follow your passion and hostel facility is also good.
Placement is decent, good coding culture, helping seniors and good teaching staff and also decent girls boys ratio .

Dislikes

Campus area is 155 acres , that is good but it should be more .
Criteria of minimum 75 percent attendance required to sit the exam. It should be lowered
Location of campus is outside the city. For any activities outside the campus is not much possible as outside chill.

Placement Experience:

The percent of placement in nit Jalandhar is good. It has a good aluminni network and many companies visit every year. Here placement and internship is given by top companies as Microsoft, Google , samsung etc. one can take internship from 3rd year. In CSE placement percent is upto 99%. The highest package till now is 1.2Cr and average package is about 17LPA. Off campus placement are also offers to students. I am in 1st year. After completing my degree my plan is to get a good placement in tech companies in AI and ML field.

I liked the way fests takes place and we enjoy a lot

Dislikes

I didn't like the way some show partiality towards north indians

Placement Experience:

The Placements of our College are good .from 6 th sem we can start applying for internships . Campus placement start in 4 th year . So many companies give offers and highest package is 1.3 crores like that . Percentage of students getting placement is like 97 and chance of girls for placement is more as there are only some girls students present in the cse group every year

clean campus with lots of trees and plants
hostels are clean and there is no scene of ragging etc
mess food is better as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

more focus on attendance and assignment rather than development of skills
tests are of local college level and that also got cancelled this year
sports facilities are pathetic and there seems no scope of improvement

Likes

There is good chance to explore in sport.
College give good placement opportunity for student.
Clean campus there all road are clean and regularty is maintain.

Dislikes

Not give chance to intern for lower branches
wrost mess food I ever eat in my life (Very bad)
teacher are not well as i accepted (not all)

It is almost cover complete all the curriculum sylllabus. Our curriculum involve real life task liek sensor.The teacher come with slide which is not good way to teach. our examination count 2 time per semester.

I think the friends are the major part of college and the teachers are very supportive
The canteens are many int his college in which many types are available for tasting the food of new type
The classrooms are quite big and comfortable

Dislikes

The atmosphere in winter is quite cool it also reaches 4°C
The atmosphere in summer is also a big problem where it reaches to 50°C
The seniors dont communicate a long with us so we may face difficultues

The campus is quite small but there are many buildings and nice atmosphere around the college Curriculum of the the college will not pressurised The teaching methods will be on both normal and the online presentations The exams will come as fast as possible there will be quizzes in the middle of the classes The faculty is quite experienced and very good in teaching and very supportive to the students

The placement and the hostel life of NIT J.

Likes

The placement percentage of NITJ is quite good and the package offered to the students is also very good .
The food and the hostel heigine are very good and the hostel staff is very helpful and supportive.
The faculty of the college is highly qualified and is also very supportive.

Dislikes

Their is not even a single good canteen in the campus .The quality of the food of canteen is very poor.
The campus is very far away from the main city due to which their is very difficulty in transport.
The curriculum for the students is very busy and due to 75% attendance criteria we can't even miss classes.

Placement Experience:

All of the students are eligible for campus placement depending on their CGPA .The placement percentage depends on the department to department but overall the placement percentage is around 75% .The highest package this year is 35 LPA .

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
