First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Good college

Likes

Friends, most important thing i got here is brothers from another mother.
Roomates, best thing i got in college, I think they will come in my honeymoon too.
Teachers, very friendly and very innovative ideas for teaching

Dislikes

Bhavya, just maintain social distancing from this person from ece
Rules, they are very strict and some of which are no use.
Very small, whole infra structure is very small

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, we can apply for campus placements. Companies that Visit our college for placements are more inclined to the ones that are tech like Amazon and phonepay. Highest package in our college is crores. There are some packages of 80 lakhs. The average is 18 lakhs. More than 90 percent of students get placed in our college. after my degree, I am thinking of driving 3 3-wheeler.

A Fascinating Journey NIT JALANDHAR

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is really good
Extra curricular activities are so much and other activities are also available here
Faculties are really good and supportive and highly qualified

Dislikes

Hostels are really congested and sometimes meal is also not good
There are very less places to eat outside
College is very far from city which is a little bit problem

Placement Experience:

Students are available for placements from the 5th semester and the college offers really good job offers and campus placements are quite good. Major companies visited are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Walmart, Oracle, etc. Almost 80% of students got placed. My plans after completing my graduation are to go for higher education not to go for placements.

Likes

The campus area is very green with an area of 154 acres . College has different eating spots .
The institute hostels have volleyball courts , badminton courts inside the hostel itself
The college also has an open air theatre and different plays and dances are organised there time to time.

Dislikes

The time table is very tiring. Students are busy for almost the whole day
The academic pressure at nit Jalandhar is at it's most .
Students are not allowed to keep there personal vehicles even bicycles.

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. In mechanical engineering, 90-95 percent of students have been placed with an average package of 8.5 lakhs. The highest package in 2023 was 24 lakhs given by ZSCALAR. After getting my degree, I'll go for MTech.

My beloved College

Likes

Sports fests and competition in college are great.
The clean and green scenery of college is great.
Technical fest and hackathon provide great exposure.

Dislikes

Lot of assessment and assignments is hectic in college life.
Useless strictness are really bad and heavy fines for silly things.
75% attendance criteria is very hectic in college.

Placements in my college are top notch and the training and placement cell is continuously working hard in recession time to maintain a 100% placement record. Very big MNC come here to offer placements and internships.

Likes

The fests or events of our college are good.
Campus life is also nice.Peers are good here.
Placement for CSE branch is also good as compared to others.

Dislikes

The connectivity to the city is not much good.
Some hostels condition is not much good.
Academic pressure is also there in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is well-educated. Some of them have graduated or post-graduated from IITs. Most of the teachers follow the hybrid teaching method of using PPTs and teaching on the blackboard. The exams are conducted twice in a semester.

NIT J at a glance.

Likes

Gym is great with every necessary equipment.
Most of the Professors are understanding.
No ragging is allowed. Our seniors are very good in nature.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not that good for the sports.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students can apply for internship, college provide attendance to the respective student during the internship period. Many companies visit our campus like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, etc. The highest package is around 62 lpa and the average package is around 13 lakh. 85-95% of students are placed and others pursue MTech or apply abroad etc.

Likes

The management system in the college is up to date after a fixed period.
The hostel facilities in the college is very nice .
The professor in the college is very nice .

Dislikes

The bathroom condition in the hostel is not good .
In some departments the condition of class room in not well .
The hostel room is shared by 2 students is also not good .

This course was interesting to me. Every course has three faculty to a whole batch of 120. Every teacher has phd in their respective fields. The teaching method is adequate for student learning in classrooms.

Likes

College exposure is great and have good sports facilities
This college is raging free and seniors are helping.
Mess and hostel staff is very helpful and nice.

Dislikes

There is a strict 75% attendance criteria

Placement Experience:

Btech computer science has great placement opportunities and 90% students are getting placed . Amazon, Microsoft, oracle and many more companies made visit for placements . The eligibility criteria for placement is about 8cgpa

Classrooms are well equipped with projector and smart screen.
Campus has lot of canteens so its fun there
Infrastructure is good and a lot of greenery around the campus

Dislikes

Canteens are there but not of great quality
Campus is Bit far from city. So city market is not nearby
More emphasis on books than on soft copies

Likes

Campus greenery is better full of oxygen
Placement of the college is quite better than any other private college in punjab
High opportunity’s in the college entering this college is quite difficult and afterward life is easy

Dislikes

Ratio of girls to boys ratio is less that is depressing
Washroom is very bad we have to use our own handwashing and they don’t clean it day by day
Mess food is depressing it should be better as the fees

In 4th year students are eligible for placement Companies that are very highly paid visited here such as Amazon etc that is quite inpressive Highest package is 1.2 crore and average package is 17 lac 95 percent of students gets placement

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
