First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

REMOTE NITJ

Likes

Only eatery good is NESCAFE. The food quality is just wow

Dislikes

The faculty is very strict and holding too attitude despite the performances.
College location is very remote which makes it very uncomfortable for the students to travel

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, and PayPal came this year for placements though Oracle took almost all the girls' students for placements. The average package is around 15lpa

Likes

Academic system is best and most of work is done online
Study is best and every facilities provide in class room
Each and every department have separate building

Dislikes

Mess food quality is not good but different items are provided
Area of campus is small and all sports are not in college

Placement Experience:

Over colleges provide college placement at 3 year or 6th semester and almost 30 students are placed in placement. Jindal Stainless Limited, Metso Outotec (MO Group) ReNew Power Private Limited, and TheMathCompany are companies that provide placement. 30 percentage students get placement in nit Jalandhar.

It is a great choice to make you dreams true. All what you need is hardwork, honesty, consistency

Likes

Green campus is the thing that i like the most.
All the events that occurs including religious.
Clubs performance attractd me the most here

Dislikes

I think placement should improved more and more.
There should be availability of more practical things.
Strictness over attendance should be decreased

The highest package was 1.5 cr and avg was 15 lakh. Students are eligible for jobs in the third year. Most students get placed. Many students have qualified for the gate. Companies like Zomato, amazon, Flipkart, tata, and Infosys come here.

It was a honest review. It take lot of time to mention all the important things of the college.

Likes

I like the culture here. Seniors are very supportive.
Campus life is full of fun. Various activities from clubs, Nice Experience.
Infrastructure is good. Construction is going on for more buildings.

Dislikes

They will not provide cooler or ac in summer. It ist the biggest disadvantage.
They will not allow students in first year to campus. Hostel in time is just half hour after class.
Laboratory should not be well equipped.It too is a disadvantage.

Placement Experience:

4th year onwards students are eligible for placements. The highest package is 21 lakhs. Avg package is 8 lakhs. 45% of students are placed. While others are preparing for govt exams. Some go for the gate. I should also go for govt. Exam preparation after getting my college degree.

Likes

Infrastructure is good. faculty is good.
Campus Life is very good the friends are awesome.
The i like civil engineering very much and also wants a government job.

Dislikes

The labs are not good they don't have good quality equipments.
The management of fest which have in nitj are also bad.
The mess food is not so good but mess fee is high.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Zomato, etc. The highest package is 1.2cr. Placements are according to respective like the highest placement is of the CSE branch.

A truthful thought about NITJ

Likes

Campus of NITJ is greenery with many flowering plants.
Food quality is very good and delicious.
There is no word like ragging inside nitj campus.

Dislikes

Too much restriction for the first year students.
Few of the facility are not cooperative with students.
Exam schedule is not good like after 20 days after starting of new semester there were mid sem started.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onwards you are become eligible to appear in interviews for placements. There are many companies like Microsoft, infoyis, LNT, TCS, Physics Wallah, Byju's. In the civil branch, 63% of students get a place. The highest placement was 19 lpa and the average placement was 7.5 lpa. I will prepare for the engineering service exam after getting the degree.

College environment is very good as per my opinion.
Hostel facilities are also very good wich were provided for 24×7.
Faculty members are also very supportive and kind.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike slightly is the strictness by the hostel administration.
Sometimes I dislike the mess menu as well as food(sometimes).
Other than these I don't dislike much things.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, the students are eligible for the campus placements. Many companies visited for the placement purpose like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Google, etc. My plans after getting the degree will be to prepare for the govt. exams.

Likes

Good teachers as they are from iit's. They teach in very simple way
Good culture, as from all over india students came so they provide same to each and every student
Better placements, more opportunities,only we have to study and have to enjoy our college lofe

Dislikes

Mess food of 2nd year as it is of so low quality
Attendance criteria, 75 perc attendance is required

In 4th year there is a placement session, and students are eligible for placements in the last semester. there ate a wide variety of companies that visit our college, as amazon cames which is a great opportunity for tech students and they offer a package of 44 lac And for core also there are wide varieties of companies. Almost all of the students get placed, around 5 per fets unplaced they went for higher studies etc. I plan to get PSU as I am from mechanical engineering

After 7 or 8 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. In our campus no. Of companies visit in which Microsoft, lnt, reliance, Amazon, Flipkart, etc famous companies visited our college. last year a student placed the highest package of 1.2 crore per annum average IT and the CSE package of 25 lakh. This year around 250 students were placed in it sector and in non-core around 50% of students were placed. After completing my degree, I would go to campus placement or a government job.

I dislike the campus canteen the things are so expensive
I dislike the students who did not go to classes daily

Students in the 7th semester gets eligible for placements . Many big companies visit the college for campus placements like BPCL, Deloitte, Paytm, Samsung, Oracle, Amazon, Infosys, Axis Bank, Accenture, Qualcomm, Mediatek, Adobe, Flipkart , MG, Byjus, etc. and many other companies.Students can also apply off-campus.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
