First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Life at NIT JALANDHAR

Likes

The club culture here and the activeness of clubs
The classrooms are decent and gives comfort to study properly
All the required items and facilities of day to day are available in the college campus only

Dislikes

The cleanliness in few particular areas is not good
4 sharing rooms in first year,the rooms are designed for 3 students
Few professors,as they have good knowledge but not good teaching styles

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 6th semester, the companies start visiting and one can sit for placements. Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and TCS visit the college and many startups visit with good offers. 85%students get placed and the rest also by the end of the 4th year to are placed in any company. Highest package 50 lakhs, The average package is 12 lakhs, My plan is with the skillset of mine to get employed and start an IT services company and eventually work time in the business.

Divine into college

Likes

Good coding and supportive culture of the college, as senior are very supportive and tells us about what's good for us in future and also gives us idea about the competition.
In campus there are students from all over the country , so we can improve social skill and can have taste of each and every culture.
In hostel there are good wifi speed and there are washing machine in each floor , so it's saves our time and we can invest it for upgradation of skill.

Dislikes

Library is very conjusted , the capacity is very less as compared to the strength of the college and there is no sockets for laptop charging.
In hostel, the hostel staff are very less attentive as there are many types of insects but they do not take any action.
College is very far from the city so it's very time consuming for us to go and buy any item

Placement Experience:

After the 7th sem, students are eligible for placement. There are several companies visiting our College, the data is more precisely given on our college website and the placement percentage is also good. Our highest package is 1.2 crore offered by Amazon and the average package of my stream is 16.4 lac also the percentage of students placed is above 90 percent. My plans after getting my degree are to be placed in a good company and gain some experience and then go for a startup.

Hair I like most the facilities which are provided in the classroom .
Hostels are very nice specially bh1 and don't opt for bh5 they serve not very good food
Campus life here is very good very much greenery all over.

Dislikes

See there are nothing very much to dislike but there should not be so much restrictions for the first year students
I hate this like a canteen name night canteen they serve very bad food
There should be permission to use electronic items like electric kettle and iron .

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible to sit for campus placements. There are a lot of companies that visit the campus for placements like Amazon cognizant Accenture delloit TCS etc. The average package of this college is around 13 to 14 lacs per annum and the highest packages are around 55 to 60 lacs.

My thinking about my college

Likes

Good infrastructure collage campus has greeeny
Placements are good abg package is above 12.4 lpa
Faculty students ratio is very. Good 1;20 approx

Dislikes

Some faculties are very rude and strict .
Boys girls ratio in not good there are very competition among boys
Homestate vs other state discrimination can also be seen

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Last year Microsoft took 36 students on 44 lpa, and trident took 6 students from textile only on 18 LPA. Overall 80 percent of students got placed My plans after getting my degree are to do corporate jobs.

Internship at NITJ

Likes

The college has a great social life, academics and good infrastructure.
The campus life is great with all the clubs and fests.
The faculty is very cooperative and the placements are great.

Dislikes

The college is just a little away from the main city though it doesn't makes much difference.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in the sector of IT and I like coding and knowing about the technology and exploring it. I opted for B.Tech in IT as it was in my interest and I scored enough to clear the cut-off for choosing it. The faculty in the department is great. They have great achievements on their own and the teaching methods are very enjoyable. The exams are divided into two parts now the mid-semester and end-semester exams in a semester. The exams were easy to pass as we got enough time to prepare for the exam and keep going with the syllabus.

Good college

Likes

In my college ragging is parmanent close and if someone is find is taking ragging is giving fine and In action .
Campus is small so all departments are find out in early.
The campus is cleaning and many fest are in my college

Dislikes

Teachers are very strict and not giving easy marks
The sports facilities are not good campus ground is not good
In hostel the lift are not working in different sections.

Placement Experience:

In my college placements are good in average package in computer science is 16 lakh and the high package of my college is 1.5 crore in ece branch taken in 2021. There are many top companies visiting my college just Infosys and Oracle, Microsoft.

4 years good if you get in NIT Jalandhar

I like the campus and the sports opportunities that are available in the college as I play basketball.
I have made my own friends circle and i enjoy a lot so campus life totally depends on your group so choose wisely.
Till now I have got good faculties who were helpful and friendly some were strict as well.

Dislikes

It would have been more fun if campus size would be little more bigger.

Placement Experience:

Placement is really good and it has exponentially increased over the past years. Lots of companies visit our college every year. It depends on the branch you get. As I am from the biotechnology department placements are not very good but not very bad as well. Core placements are less in this department but you can go for tech placements.

very attractive college life ,placement and opportunites

teachers are very nice and they are always helping.
club culture is very attractive in our campus.there is 2 dramtics club 3 dance club , singing club and so many
sports is also good you get to chance to participate in every kind of sports

Dislikes

campus is small and only two basket ball court.

Placement Experience:

student can apply for off-campus placement and internship in any semester. but college allows from the 5th semester. there are about 200+ companies visited in our college. the highest package is 44 LPA in on-campus placement.

i lked the infrastructure of the college.
campus life is good for only 2nd 3rd and 4th years students
faculty is ok ok some proffers are strict

Dislikes

it is not open campus college.you are not allowed to go outside after 8pm
location of the college is 15 km from the main city
intraction between senior and junior is not good

Placement Experience:

from 3rd year students are eligible for placement. Many companies visit here. placement scenery is not good here many students go for off-campus placement. Around 55-60% of students got placement from here.

Not a dream college but not less than a dream.

Likes

Events- Since i joined various events happened in nitj. Participating in the events is a lot of fun.
Sanskriti club - in nitj we have a Sanskriti club which promotes the culture of all parts of india and organize famous festivals from all the states so to promote unity among the students. Every festival at nitj is celebrated with full enthusiasm.
Gym- Well nitj has a well equipped gym with full gym equipments.

Dislikes

Campus area- nitj campus area is very less. So yeah due to small campus it feels boring sometimes.
Restriction- nitj has a strict policy regarding breaking of rules and regulations. For first years various restrictions are imposed.
Wifi- the wifi speed of nitj is very less compared to other institutions.. We have to face a lot of problems due to that.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester, students become eligible for internships. From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Various companies including Microsoft, Spanidea Systems, spyne Ai, reliance, Samsung, havells, nvidia India, etc visited for placement purposes. The highest package offered in 2023 was 51 lpa from the IT branch and the average package stood for 12.44 lpa. A total of 950 students were eligible for placement out of which 700 got placed in reputed companies. Well, I am planning to get a good job in the company I am interested in after getting the degree.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
