First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

The teacher over here are very very supported they give us very Startup ideas like many things I can't explain over here the teacher always encourager in class for our internship and many more thing teacher guide is very tight way and we always hope
The most important thing is people over here there are many clubs many more opportunities to get exposed in many more things right we will always be looking forward to many many things in our life and we will do something great in our life the colleg

Our water cooler is not workingSo we are looking for opportunities when we gonna get ACs in our hostel but we can get someday so we don't have to worry about this we will definitely get ICS in our boys hostel very soon and we will teddyheart we will

There are pebbles on the road which causes us damage sometime and we slip on that so these are going to be prepared very soon and everything is nice and college is fantastic fabulous and very very nice very very nice environment to develop your skill

The placement at the piece of take over here the professor are always increasing us to take placement in the core but you can opt for other branches also the rate of placements going upward from day to day in our college and their lot of placement lot of companies coming in our college

The weather during winter at times is hard to bear since i myself am from a rather warmer climate. But its still enjoyable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of my interest and with an aim to do a master's in genetics since btech biotech as such gives fewer job opportunities and experience. The faculty is adequate and approx 60 students. The faculty is highly qualified and their teaching method is good.

My Btech life

Likes

I have liked campus the most i walk daily in the campus and enjoy the view
I have liked hostel as they are so good spacious and clean
I have liked canteens ss their food is so good

Dislikes

I didn't like washrooms in class blocks as they are small
There are no Lighting at night in main ground
Water fountains are not good and also not working

Placement Experience:

I guess from the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies are like trident, reliance, etc. The highest package is like 10000000 and the average is like 1800000 or higher. My plans after getting the degree are to work and also to study more.

My life at NIT Jalandhar

Likes

Campus atmosphere is too good, especially night life.
Studying in a National institute makes us interact with a lot if experts.
Student teacher rapport is a great thing.

Dislikes

Hostel rooms are too congested. Need to be spacy

Placement Experience:

Normally, final-year students are eligible for placements. For our course, Ed-Tech companies like Physicswallah, Unacademy, etc are yet to visit us. For Btech and Mtech courses, a lot of companies come for placements. Last year, 65LPA was the highest package offered. My plan is to do research.

A brief introduction to NIT J

Likes

NIT Jalandhar is good in terms of discipline as there are guards and cameras in each and every corner of the campus.
It has a very beautiful and maintained campus with good garden and buildings. Spring in campus is awesome.
Different types of clubs are active in college. Staying in Punjab we can explore the culture and tradition of the whole India through different programs arranged by cultural clubs

Dislikes

Management is very weak in thus college. They are not even good enough to make a good academic calendar
Students have a lot of restrictions in campus, especially for couples
For every mistake, they are ready to impose fine even though students are not getting all their rights

Placement Experience:

Mostly seventh and eighth semesters are eligible for placement. Different companies even like Amazon and Microsoft are also visiting colleges for placement. The highest package last year was 47 lakh which is from CSE. And the average package is 10-15 lakhs. Over 60% of students are getting a placement and we can go for off-campus placement also.

The clubs , activites, fest, together help us greatly in improving our skills
The wide exposure a college gives is a remarkable factor of a college
The experience of living far away from home and dealing with your things on your own

Dislikes

People's biases attitude towards home state
Stereotypes with south India and their predetermined thoughts on them
Knowing Hindi is a must for anyone who study here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course for my passion and love for the course and also for the job opportunities. There is almost 4:1 ratio between boys and girls All the faculties are very well educated and have depth knowledge in all topics.

Classroom are good having Ac which run full day
Cleanliness is a thing which we can appreciate our college
Teachers are cooperative when we want to do mass bunk

Dislikes

Faculty are very bad they do not know how to teach
They put lot of pressure on students including assignment and projects
75 attendance is the worst which we can imagine

Placement Experience:

In college, Students are eligible in the 7th semester for campus placement and students are placed in the 7th to 8th semester. Companies are L and T, baarc, and Microsoft. Average package is 7.5 lakh and the highest package is 19 lakh. 50 percent of students are placed in campus placement. I want to start a business in the construction field.

The dark insides

Likes

Lecture theaters are very good
Playground and sports facilities are also very good

Dislikes

There is too much strictness that is you will find a gaurd in every 50-100 m
All Faculty teachers are not good

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, students become eligible from the 7th semester onwards. Most of the placements are done in the IT sector and electronics. The highest CTC achieved is by electronics students i.e. 1.2 crores. The highest average package is of the Computer science and engineering branch. Many companies visited some are a regular basis namely Cisco, Goldman Sachs, servicenow India, rapidfort Inc. paypal University, Google India, avalara India, Atlassian etc. The highest package is 1.2 crore and the average package is 12 lakhs CTC. There are about all over 70% of students placed. Branch wise highest average package is for Computer science and the lowest average package is for civil engineering. My first plan is to take campus placements and and second option is to prepare for government jobs if the first option fails.

Placement Experience:

Beginning with their senior year student are wualified for placements on campuses. Amazon, microsoft, goldman sachs,TCS, infosys ,and many more are the main corporations present. The average package is LPA and primarilly profikes for SDE, ehile the highest package is 44 LPA. eighty percent of the students are placed. My goal is to land a decent job.

Likes

Professors and seniors are very helping in nature.
A good security system is available for students.
Beautiful campus with temple lake and gym.

Dislikes

75% attendance is mendetory for all students.
Language barrier is also one of the dislike thing for me.
Very strict rules for first year students

Placement Experience:

At the end of 3rd-year students become eligible for placement. About all big companies as Samsung and Microsoft, in the world. Many Indian companies too. Here about 75% of students are placed. Highest 51lac and average 12.5 lac annual package. 75% in the whole college. to get a good placement.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
