First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Great placement opportunities , many intership opportunities
Lush green campus and good hostels with average food quality
Many clubs and societies available for extra circular activities

Dislikes

Strict minimum 75 percentage attendance policy
Low girls to boys ratio , in my class only 27 girls in batch of 126 students
Average campus with average infrastructure

Placement Experience:

average package of btech for btech is 10 lac and for tech tech branches average package stood at 13.5 lac . Companies like Google , Microsoft, filpkart , Amazon , oracle visit campus. Almost 50 students were offered package greater than 25 lac . 90 percent of the students were placed in last year, my plans is to get a decent on campus placement

Strict minimum 75% attendence, otherwise you will be detained from giving exams
Low girls to boys ratio ,in my class there are only 26 girls in a batch of 120 students
Not a very big campus, with average infrastructure

Placement Experience:

Average package of btech students is Rs. 10 lac and for tech branches the average package stood at 13.5 lacs. Companies like microsoft, google, adobe, nvidia, oracle, flipkart, amazon visit the campus. Almost 50 students offered a package of greater than 25 lac. 90% of the students were placed in last year. For tech branches placement record is very good like 95-96%.

Nit Jalandhar Review

Our college is inclusive. Nit Jalandhar has the students from each and every state.Its like a mini india. My class also had students from so many states and it is so good to interact with different cultures and persons.
It had good infrastructure and good wifi connection. The classes of Nit Jalandhar are very much maintained. We have ac and heater in every room. Smart board's are also there
College organise fest every year. Different functions are also organised like punjab day and college give permission to organise freshers party and farewell party to students

Dislikes

Some things are slower than usual. Like if you want a NOC for your internship then it requires multiple signs and visits to get the one document. It's like government things.
Course structure that we are studying now is oudated actually it requires improvement. But the immediate batch after us (27 batch) are studying the course according to new curriculum. They focus more on practical skills now. This should be for us als
Girls to boys ratio is less. 1 girl to 5 boys. But college is doing its part to improve this. We have female quota but despite of this girls to boys ratio is less. I gave the ratio according to my admission year

Placement Experience:

Our college Placements statistics are good. Companies visit the college frequently and take the students for internship and placement after taking online assessment and interview. Some companies have the CG barrier of 7 or 8 above. Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards and for internship from 5th semester onwards This time for internship Honeywell came giving 30 k per month, jubilant, technip, reliance also came giving 30k per month including accomodation. For placement also these companies come or give ppo to interns offering 7 lakh per annum average pack Aarti industries, jindal steels , reliance come for placement offering maximum 14 lakh per annum highest package and 7 lakh per annum average package. All in all 97% students get placed out of all eligible students and some get double offers also from different companies. Every company give offers to students not on a rigid basis but they are flexible in taking up the students if they liked the basic skills of the students. I plan to get the summer internship from the companies visiting the college and will try to get ppo from them Also i want to get the placement from college only from the companies. I am also planning to give GATE exam also for the PSUs also side by side

Likes

The NITJ campus is very huge to have a walk at night with friends
The professors are having a good knowledge of their subjects which helps the students to understand the theory and practical in deep manner
You have a innovation center where you can present your ideas and if the ideas are really good then they are ready to fund you or arrange the funds for you

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs to be more developed including hostels rooms

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is very good for B-Tech but for Masters its not up to mark.Here almost all companies visits like Google, Amazon,Trident, Samsung,Maruti Suzuki,Adobe etc offering a good salary package.

The infrastructure is very good and labs are excellent with all equipments
The girls to boy's ratio in our branch is 1:3
The campus life is extremely enjoyable here due to many activities

Placement Experience:

The placements here are awesome as it is a government college . The students who cleared jee mains are into this college The average package for our branch is something around 11 Lpa The highest is around 26 Lpa Approx 82 % got placement this year .

The placements in the college are good. Almost all Students became eligible for placements in seventh semester . 85% of students got in campus placement. Highest package of our branch is 26 LPA and average package is 11 LPA. Nvidia provided the highest package

Truth about NITJ

Te infrastructure here is very good. Fully AC classes
Library here is very good . Computers are also available for students to use
Free wifi is available in the campus for all students

Placement Experience:

My college offers good in campus placement. However it depends on different branches . The average package is different for different branches. In my course 81% of students got placed Highest package 50 Lpa Average package 11 LPA My plan is to get a placement in good company

I like the timings of nitj hear timings are easy to fallow
And I like the relationship between girls and boys they live as best friends
I love the nature of nitj .they always clean the surrounding

Dislikes

I think the girls timings because they don't have right roaming after 10pm
For the 1st year students they don't give the permission to go out side with out permission
Some times the paper correction of teachers is to bad

In nitj students are eligible from 6th semester for the placement.the institute provide on campus placement and if you interested to offcumpus also .and hear so many companies are arriving.i don't exactly about packages

My college which is big and beautiful by infrastructure and here my friends are grateful towards me.
The security is great here which they are available for 24/7
Here which the roommate will be friendly with me and share things with me

Here there is discrimination interms of North and South by students
Teachers will be based towards there respective State and language
Teachers gives us less marks and don't listen us and didn't care us

Yaa, here placements are good for their respective branches which core will good placements usually but also non core also get good placements based the companies are coming to college.My branch average package is 600000 per annum

the faculty's of our college are well experienced and have lot of knowledge. most of them are very helpfull in nature.
The events are best part of college life. in NIT jalandhar 2 main events are organized by college clubs. Team technical affairs organize Techniti event it is technical event and Team cultural affairs organize Utkansh that is cultural event.
these events are organized every year and there are many clubs that organize various events like state events by reasonal club.

Dislikes

accadmics work have lot of headache. for many work you have to walk lot from one person to another.

Placement Experience:

Placement is normal as other colleges top companies also approach for placement and hire the students from out college. in our branch highest package of biotechnology is 18 LPA and average package is 7.37 LPA, 50% of us was placed and few of us are go for higher studies.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
