Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less especially in branches like civil and mechanical.However, it is improving right now due to 10% reservation for girls in IITs. ~ Akaash R, B.Tech

Placement Experience:

10th sem onwards students become eligible for placements in my branch. So many companies visit my branch to recruit students as per their choice and ample amount of offers made by them. The highest placement this year recorded was around 19lakhs per annum. and the average was around 12lakhs per annum. Almost all of the students got placed whether it be core or non-core placements. My plans are oriented towards a startup.

IIT Madras: A Beautiful Place

Placement Experience:

There were more than 500 companies that visited IITM. Every year placements happen from 1st December. The placements happen in 2-3 phases. Some of the prominent companies that visited my college were McKinsey, BCG, Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, Schlumberger etc. The highest package was around 1.2 Cr annually and it was a profile offered in the USA.

MBA at doms IIT madras

Remarks:

IIT madras as the name suggests is one of the most reputed colleges in the country,the placement statistics, the curriculum, the overall exposure and the credibility that i was going to get after pursuing MBA from department of management studies IIT madras was the reason i chose this college.For admission i had got a valid CAT score as well as a degree from a recognized university with more than 60% marks, but i was exempted from CAT score since my CGPA in my graduation was 8 in IIT delhi. Then i went for an interview with all the original certificates.The application fees i paid was Rs 1600.The admission process began after the CAT results were out that is starting February. I got to know about this college from its official website.

Remarks:

For anyone who wants to pursue higher Study from top class institutes, IIT Madras is the best choice whether MBA oR BTech it is the ideal place for all students. The institute was ranked at the top in overall 2020 rankings of NIRF. There are various student exchange programmes also in which students get to learn as per the top international standards. Admissions to the institute for EMBA are based on the score in previous academic standards, entrance, personal interview, group exercise and also checking the work experience

Remarks:

I wasn't that Interested in science that's why I opted for Humanities during my 10+2 but when I got to know about this integrated programme at IITM, I at once decided to apply for it. The major reason for this was first position of IITM in overall rankings of top educational magazines. Admissions in the 5-year integrated programme are based on the HSEE score of candidates and they must hold a brilliant academic background also.

IIT Madras - From point of view of a student who didn't see campus yet.

Remarks:

I'm from AP, So chennai will be a near and will be easy for transportation.IITM is NIRF ranking 1.Also IIT Madras is very close to nature.I have visited websites like College duniya, shiksha.So enrollment into the institute will be through JOSAA counselling.

Civil Engineering of IIT Madras covers broad area from bioprocess engineering to structural engineering. Water resource, Environmental Engineering are also part of this. There are many factors that made me to choose IIT Madras as my college. Since IIT Madras is India's Top Technical Institute and It provides quality education to the students. And the good aspects are like we got chance to learn from most knowledgeable faculties and intelligent as well as competent colleagues. And one more benefit, That there are no regular Classes and there are only tasks/work assigned to you that you've to complete within the deadline so there is no pressure attend the classes on a regular specific time. And bad aspects are like we miss campus life and we miss meeting to the faculties and colleagues face to face.

The online Data Science program at IIT Madras is a great opportunity for someone who can not attend regular college because of financial constraints, illness, or other reasons. The online BS in Data Science and Application allows students to gain knowledge of this field from one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.

The online lectures are taught by experienced faculty members from IITM. What I found most interesting was the professors' distinct approach to teaching. The students are routinely assisted by committed and supportive staff.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.

The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.

Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
