Dislikes

Girls to boys ratio is very less especially in branches like civil and mechanical.However, it is improving right now due to 10% reservation for girls in IITs. ~ Akaash R, B.Tech

Considering the ROI and placements , I went for IIT Madras. Industry interaction and international collaboration was other specialities. On the basis of CAT scores, Group Discussion ,Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test, the overall performance is evaluated for admission to IIT.

Placement Experience:

This is a new program so students are progressing towards final year now So I hope it'll be providing good placement also. There are too many Students pursuing internships also. Now I am doing a foundation course so now I can't do it but my senior student told me.

Remarks:

IIT Madras was the best, is the best and probably it will remain to be the best institute of the country because of its all-round perfection. It has been getting 1st position in NIRF's rankings from the last few years consecutively. The institute is given recognitions from leading global agencies and along with which its worldwide industrial and institutional tie-ups are a great reason to be there. I applied for my Master's here at IIT-M and admissions to the course were based on the scores in IIT JAM entrance.

My life in IIT Madras

Remarks:

Over the years the college has maintained its reputation for placements and being one of the top colleges in the country. The college asks for entrance level exam scores which includes CAT followed by a round of group decision with graduation marks being checked followed by a round of personal interview.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to take internships from 3rd semester in IIT madras. Many companies are come for Placement. The average package in 1 month in internship is 10000 rupees. And after completing degree almost 100% of students getting placements in IIT madras. After getting the B. Tech degree from civil engineering. I want to take placement .

IIT Madras and PGDM

Remarks:

MBA was the field that I wanted to pursue my career in with IIT Madras being the top choice for me due to the level of education and placements that are provided to the students. The admission in the college is done through the system of CAT scores followed by graduation score and a round of personal interview in which my interests and my future plans were asked.

Insights into IIT Madras

Remarks:

1. Physics department is well equipped and one of the strongest in our country, natural choice for pursuing my desired branch 2. Well connected to Ahmedabad through a flight, the campus is in close proximity to the airport as well as to hangout spots like malls etc Admission process is easily available online.

"IIT Madras the Heaven"

Remarks:

I was written the exam JEE Advanced in 2018 I got selected in IIT Madras in the domain of metullargy and Material Seince.I have interest in research programs so I was chosen this branch.When I was in 12th standard I was searched about lot of colleges in Google there I have gotten some good clarity from Quora and Engineering 360 websites.

Review on Online B.Sc Degree.

Remarks:

It is top among all the IIT's. The admission process included Rs 3000 as Registration Fees and it is also the fees of the qualifier exam. The Fees were reduced only in case of SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates.

The online Data Science program at IIT Madras is a great opportunity for someone who can not attend regular college because of financial constraints, illness, or other reasons. The online BS in Data Science and Application allows students to gain knowledge of this field from one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.

The online lectures are taught by experienced faculty members from IITM. What I found most interesting was the professors' distinct approach to teaching. The students are routinely assisted by committed and supportive staff.

IIT Madras has undertaken a unique approach to imparting their expertise in the highly demanded field of Data Science.

What are your thoughts on IIT Madras offering a bachelor's degree/diploma online?

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.

The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.

Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
