College has best in academics and sports. One can enjoy his life if he is well planned. Campus life is very gud. No one say no to anything. Fests,college hall days are best to enjoy. Academic pressure is quiet high in some departments. Only negative is in some halls mess food is not that gud. u need to eat outside and this college is situated in a village far from city.

I gave the IIT JEE examination and got a high rank. I also did counselling for relevant courses. I chose the college after careful consideration. I felt that the brand name is beneficial for all students and alumnus. This is the oldest IIT in India with a great heritage.

1. college is best in academics,placements. 2. Strong base in IT SECTOR and core engineering. 3. Alumni support and professor support are too healthy for placement students. 4. one negative is Academic pressure is high on students.

IIT is very prestigious institute. It was an wonderful experience to be a part of iit eco system. We make some lifelong good friends. Know much more about opportunities in our fields. It take 2 year of my life but gives a life long experience in personal and as well as academical life.

The complaints regarding any type of issue are noted and a quick action is taken into account. There is a very friendly environment. You can even perform research work under professors to gain some experience before facing real life job pressure

The campus is situated in a suburban area, need to go to Kolkata which is 130 km faraway to get to a airport, no branded quick service restaurants except subway. Its the largest IIT with 2200 acres green lavish campus. There are many food stalls and night canteens inside the campus. There is a auditorium where latest movies are played every week, you won't be needing to go out of the campus for recreation.

The culture of this college is nice. Bad habits are very bad for every student the environment of this campus is not so good. The location of the campus is very bad. Its feel me like was living in the jungle.

I feel good about the academic quality of the college, but I feel that the faculty should improve their basic teaching skills, so that every student would be able to utilize the classes taken in the beat possible way.

By giving JEE adv. Exam and if you score a rank under 10,000 then you can get into this IIT , but if you need a upper branch then you need to score a better rank which is under 2000 , but if you are in SC or ST category then process becomes somehow easy.

I can't think anything negative because there is no any. It's. Very prestigious college of India. Very big campus infrastructure with largest land area. Highest population of students is here. Good for placements and job opportunity. Also culturally it is very active
