Likes

Infrastructure : The college has better facilities for both students and teachers
Method of teaching: Digital and traditional method of teaching is applied
Balance in academic as well as cocurricular activities

Dislikes

Strict management system : students are expected to behave like school going kids
Longer Duration of classes , and students have to stay back even if the faculty is absent
Food are not upto the expected quality and costly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course thry provide is very practical as well as theoretical based . Faculties make us understand by giving simplest examples so that its very easy for us to understand. There are also presentation competition which helps us to increse out knowledge in the very subject

I liked the way events were done amd organized
Co curricular to increase social activity
Taking to industrial visits every year to every students

Dislikes

Management was not good at all bad timings
No unity and support from faculties in case of early leaving and arriving late
Many rules and regulations like schools which are not required in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure was fine and i choosed this beacause i wanted to come in commerce field. I made me little confidence in public speaking and giving presentations it leveled my organizations skills and different management approaches.

Likes

Campus and the area around the college the sustainability and everything else
Everyone is friendly and teachers are really very helpful
The people are really friendly around the college campus

Dislikes

One of the major problem is water scarcity which we don't face inside the college but for daily living
There is no such thing I don't like about my college
I like everything about my college it's best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to proceed with civil service later after I get done with my college so i didn't choose any other field than the one I chose and it's equivalent to my level of study

Do not go to this collage

Likes

There is nothing to like the collage sucks
The teaches leave very frequently and there is no AC as shown in the brochure
Participating in events coz you get to bunk classes

Dislikes

No AC in the classes. No actual actives for the students
A lot of disparities between the Nepalis and the Bengals
Classes are very boring as no learning aid is used and a lot of inexperienced teaches

The curriculum is fine the subjects are relevant but the new syllabus for new laws are still not added so therefore it can be said the curriculum is a little lacking behind . Exams occurs twise in a year one in February one is July

Likes

Teacher's very very friendly as their teaching methods were also good.
College had very good infrastructure enhancing our excellent mind.
Canteen, library labs, gym , volleyball court, 2 basketball court and hall very also top notch. Ground was also big enough giving it a stadium style

Dislikes

Participating in any activity would cost us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision for choosing this course was good. As every subject was familiar to me . I didn't find it difficult but in this course didn't really had regular class except physical education and mass communication.

A brief description about salesian

Our college has one of the most beautiful infrastructure. I have never seen such infrastructure in any other colleges in our town. Our clg has the best infrastructure with all the facilities required for the students.
Second thing which I like the most about our college is the rules and regulations which helps each and everyone alot. Propers rules and regulations for everything academic co curricular activities
Third thing is the faculty our college got the best faculty ever each one of them are really very helpful and kind. If any problem face the faculty will obviously help you to get a prophet solution to your problem.

Dislikes

Just one thing which the the timing as many students faces problem regarding the timing as sometimes it's too early like 7 am in the morning

If I had to rate the course curriculum then it would be 9 as this course is really good one. The college provides proper teaching facilities with the best teachers and with the help of them it feels so easy and fun to learn. There are no improvement required for this field if they will keep on doing the same thing it will really be good

A brief about salesian College Siliguri

Likes

The infrastructure is one of the most important thing for any college and our college provided the best infrastructure in our town. It has all the facilities which were the best needed in a college. Regarding infrastructure there was never a problem
The teaching staff is really good in our college the way they interact with students they are really very very friendly
Our college just don't focus on academics, we are also provided with best co curricular activities and one the most important event Innovision is always held on our college which is best in the whole town

Dislikes

There's not much to write about negative things but one was issue related with the timing as morning batches faced problem as there classes are scheduled at 7 so sometimes they use to be late and their used to be problems

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was really nice. The way the syallbus was prepared and the way each topic was explained, it was really good. Each syallbus for each subject was covered on time with no problem or delays and proper revision were done. Weekly test used to be held for proper revision. There is no suggestions for improvement if our college follows the same they are the best

Siliguri college of commerce review

I liked the timing for the classes it was in the evening so I could do other things in the morning
I liked the overall teaching methodology of the prefossors there
I liked how the college authorities always gave us timely information regarding everything

Dislikes

The infrastructure it one thing that I'd like the college to work on
The college doesn't offer any internship benefits
I really disliked the fact that the college premises were opened for the non-students all the time

Course Curriculum Overview:

First thing that influenced me to choose this course would be the well qualified professors, their teaching methodology and their experience, it was a great experience being taught by them. The next thing would be the fees structure, the college provides the same courses available at other colleges but at a very affordable fees. The one thing I'd like the college to work on is the regularity of the professors for the classes.

1. I was always interested in political science and wanted to take this up for higher education. 2. I could get the proper knowledge required because of the syllabus. 3. The teachers should become more serious and gain proper teaching methods. 4. The timing of exams were appropriate.
