Placement opportunities: the college is known to have a good placement record, with students securing placements in reputed companies.
They teach in a very good way and they help us to gain knowledge.
I chose amritha vishwa vidyapeetham because of its great atmosphere and the amazing scenery given from the mountains and the amazing faculty and infrastructure given at amritha, coimbatore and more accessible to me to go from every day

Dislikes

Hostel is also the worst, no attach bathrooms and bathrooms are also worst bad quality no maintenance.no a/c
The placement system from the last year is bad and they're blaming it on the recession
I chose this course because i like the course minimum qualification is mtech depending on the semester courses it is very difficult to pass the exams questions papers are very tough and we should work very hard during exams.

Likes

The way everything is organised and the way teachers are interacting with the students is something which is very supportive environment
Encouraging new innovative idea's which leads to good usage of real life applications
Environment and nature surrounding the college is something which is very beautiful and pleasant

Dislikes

The food is somewhat different from other states food
The climatic conditions may not be suitable for everyone

Placement Experience:

There are good opportunities for placements in our college they come at a regular basis and start right after your third year, sometimes during third year. Many of the students get decent amount of placement and there is even scope for doing master's with students exchange program offered by the college

Amrita: an experience?

Likes

The campus infrastructure is very well devoped and maintained
The food is not as bad as compared to most colleges in India
The campus is surrounded by greenery and a beautiful view of the mountains

Dislikes

The washrooms are horribly maintained with no regard for cleanliness whatsoever
It is a completely closed campus with a large number of ordeals to go through to exit the gates. The hostel is unnecessarily strict where the wardens of said hostels have no regard for the privacy of the students and no respect for their space
The faculty is well qualified but have very low teaching skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

This curriculum prepares us on how an aircraft works and how to design an aircraft. Towards the end of the course in the 3rd academic year the students are allowed to choose a specification that they may be interested in. Teaching could improve drastically as a majority of the students do not understand what the professors are trying to teach

The Amrita university also teaches us human values and ethics.
The faculty will be friendly and will able to explain whenever we will go and approach them.
The campus will be in the good environment

Dislikes

Some of the faculty will not meet for our expectations.they should expertise.
The infrastructure is not upto the mark. The infrastructure should be maintained highly.
For the university we have only 4 gate passes for a month. This is a big disadvantage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In our university the marks is evaluated in the system like 70-30 l 70 marks for internals like quiz, assignmenta, presentation. The faculty will give a task to develop a capstone project,so it improves our standards. Some of the faculty should be expertise in the various areas like in other coding languages. Exams would be mid semester and end semester exams.

My college My day and My perspective

i liked the slab system in amrita which makes us study harder and work hard
i liked the location and environment of the college
i liked the atmosphere and the faculty are great and helping us

Dislikes

there are not soo many fests that would make us happy
the strictness is soo much that sometimes it feels like restricted
there is no outside food allowed into our college even if it is vegetarian

Placement Experience:

some time placements are from 3rd year and it could be at 4th year as i'm still 2nd year at present i have no much idea about it but you'll get internship offers and other offers and based on your resume you'll get job based on you performance and the percentage of placements of students is 95. and no of companies are arounf 115 to 120 companies and the average package is 2.5 lakhs

Likes

The weather in the college is pretty good
Most of the faculty is well experienced and well trained
The friends you find here jel up very well

Dislikes

Summers in Amrita are very hot and is not very comfortable
The hostel rooms do not have AC which is not very comfortable
The food in the mess is not very tasty and is almost same every day

Course Curriculum Overview:

The electric part of the course encouraged me to take up this course and I was very interested in circuits and electronic devices since I was a kid. Even the importance of ECE student in the market motivated me to take up this course

Must know before joining amrita

Likes

The college vibe and atmosphere is really good.
The scenaries in the college is beautiful.
Sports facilities and extracurricular activities are promoted.

Dislikes

Really less holidays, and is difficult for other state students to deal with it.
Non veg is not available, and can go out of campus only twice a month.
In order to score good, need to be up to date with the syllabus.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements is available from the 6th or 7th semester. It differs for different branches. In electronics, some of the famous companies are Bosch, samsung, and more. The highest package changes from branch to branch. The overall highest package in year 2023 is 43lpa. More than 70% of the students get placed in every branch. I would prefer doing higher education if I don't get a package worth my value. I think it is not worth it to waste your time if you don't get the package you deserve.

good environment is there and full of greenery
library facility is available and various types of books are also available
very high professionals teach the subject

Dislikes

during holidays like sunday or Saturday ,library is closed

3rd year and 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. so many companies visted to our campus like wipro, tata, etc., The highest package in our college is 57 lakhs per annum. if we have a good 70% we can be eligible for placements.

About my college

Likes

The way of learning and the labs which provides all the requirements and follow the trend
The coding culture which gives the present software requirements in the company and also gives the best experience to the students
The infrastructure which gives the good vibes and also makes the happy environment and friendly atmosphere around the campus

Dislikes

The mess food is slightly disappointing because it is good for 3 days in a week and its not taste good for some days in an week
The canteen which is with poor management and which only provides chocolate and packed chips which dosent have any other fast foods

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in the campus is 90% which means almost all the students are placed and the average package is 9lpa which means the package is between 6lpa and 20lpa for the students and the highest package is 55lpa from our branch

Likes

I liked the various clubs available in this college . It provides opportunity to explore our skills in various fields
I like their way of ending each sem with projects rather than endsem exams
I like the faculty peoples in our department. They teach with care , that we understand each topic wisely.

Dislikes

I kind of don’t like the mess food here . It’s always Sambar .
I dislike the idea of them that all must sing bajan during festivals
There’s no hot water available sometimes in the college hostel . That’s not actually nice.

There is almost some 75 percent placement rate in our college. It depends on individual skills . And the college shapes us build on our skills . I personally don't know if I'll opt for jobs and pursuing my masters . I have to decide on it.

I personally liked the discipline here and this is more education oriented
I also liked the curriculum. The curriculum is impressive
Faculty take special care among students and helps us in clarifying our doubts at any times

Dislikes

This college is strict compared to other colleges
This college has less luxurious comapared to others
There will be less fests and enjoyment. So you cannot live btech as you expected

Internships can be started in the end of 2nd year or 3rd year Many top companies like Microsoft Amazon Google have visited or campus The highest package is of 55 lpa CTC The average package is in between 9lpa and 10 lpa 95% of the students got placed I want to pursue Mtech after this degree

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.

College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.

Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years.
