- The extra cirricular activities and the opportunities to study for the different colleges outside the country.
- The placement of the college is good and most of the people get placed in college.
- Campus is big and very green so this we fell fresh in the campus.
Dislikes
- The overburden of studies and the curriculum is strict.
- Some teachers are partial towards some students .
- Due to intake of so many students during each year the college is over crowded.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements start from sixth semester in our college and go till the last semester and the placement opporutnities are veery good this is why the college is mainly famous for. Last year more than 700 companies had visites the campus and the average package for Computer science students was around 6-7 lpa. I am also deciding to sit for campus placements and then do a job.

- Great alumni network which will help you in future for your overall placements.
- Huge competition which gets you to study more and Excel in every aspect of life.
Dislikes
- The huge crowd of Vit which affects the placement stats .Also due to too much student intake,it gets hard to get placed in a very good company
- The startup culture of Vit is not that great and Vit doesn't encourage you enough to start your own startup.
- The education system of Vit is very rigid.A minimum of 75 percent attendance is mandatory and you will get debarred if you don't maintain it.Debar exemption is only provided if you have a hospital discharge summary.
Placement Experience:
Students start getting Pre-Placement offer in their 3rd year of engineering if they have good coding skills and good CGPA.Many companies visit the campus in 4th year like Microsoft,Wipro, Google,TCS .Vit claims a placement percentage of 100 but it is not actually true.The placement percentage is decent with somewhere like 81-85 percentage but most of the students who sit for placement will get placed in some company or other.Obviously,I would like to go for campus placements and get a good placement,maybe in future I would like to do Masters with good job experience.

From 7th semester onwards the placements season is on
Companies visited were Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Adobe etc. Many offers were made don't know the exact number
Highest is 50 -60 lpa and average is 9lpa
More than 95% students get placed
My plan is to go for higher studies

- College a provides support for anything related to technology if you are interested
- Campus is huge and green and has a lot of spots to talk

- The exam pressure is too much and it is very hard to stay in track.
- For a very famous college like VIT the hostel rooms are not up to the mark
- Teachers with PhD don't know how to teach
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in the beginning of 4th year. Some people get internships in the third year which usually helps them to get placed soon.a lot of famous companies such as Amazon Google Microsoft come to the campus for placements. Highest package is around 1 crore that's what I heard so far but then they are divided into dream super dream

- Hostel accomodations like ac and light switches etc
- mess food is very good compared to any other college
- There are a lot of good food outlets around the campus
Dislikes
- The classrooms are not ventilated as ac is neccessary in a city like chennai
- the toilets could be more cleaner they are clean but could be more clean
- the faculty does not teach properly and the gpa depends on your class

Placements are divided into three categories that are [ Super dream, Dream, Basic or average] . Many companies have visited in our campus but basically, many companies have come for their sectors but ya vit provides freedom for every branch of students to participate in it companies interview those who are eligible and know something about coding. there are many Core companies also visited in our college so if if you don't like coding and IT companies that much you don't have to panic there are many good Core Companies also available in VIT

- The food. Usually people don't like mess food but here the mess food is very nice.
- Everything is easily available inside the campus. You've mart, cafe, Domino's everything inside the campus itself

- The policy of not allowing first year students for outing

The college provides a large number of options on what to choose after completing the course. I'll opt for Corporate job after completing my course. Most of the students from my department go for litigation. But the college provides us with a lot of internship.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
