- Faculties are really awersome and talented. they will help and guide through out the 4 years
- the lab facilites in vit chennai are just top notch
- The atmosphere is just so lively. you can get friends with different mindsets and can get to know a lot of people.
Dislikes
- the viteee exam algorithm is really bad.
- when your in hostel people will just constantly annoy you for fun. they will think its normal but you wont take it the way they do
- You have to walk a lot to go from one place to another.
Placement Experience:
Placements are offered from 6th semester. companies like microsoft, infosys, airtel, tata, morgon stanley, amazon, paypal etc.. visit here. and this year there were 904 company visits and 12000 placement offerss made.
average is around 7.9 to 8.9 and highest was 70 LPA.
the persentage of placement is 85%.
my plan after getting a degree is just goin to work.

- If you are hosteller you can’t go outside everyday
- Strict rules are there like schools which should be removed

From 7th semester students are eligible for placements.
Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Texas Instruments,etc came and give good packages.
Highest package was 59 LPA and average package was 9.13 LPA
All students are placed

- First thing I liked is its placements. With a average package of around 13lpa it is one of the best college in terms of placements.
- The Infrastructure and well equpped labs.
Dislikes
- Strict rules and strict hostel in and out timing. And they also don't allow freshers to outside the campus. So sometimes it feels like a jail.
- The strict 75% attendance rule. If didn't maintain 75% attendance you will be debared from the exams.
Placement Experience:
The placement opportunites here in VIT are ample. There is centralised placement system for the vellore and chennai campus. Students are eligible for campus placements form the 7th semester. Around 700 companies visted this year and 12018 offers have been made with an average package of 13lpa and median package of around 9lpa and almost there is 100% placement rate here with a higest package of 1.05cr.
I myself will be sitting for placemrnts.

- Hostel In-Time, Library is not 24*7, Leaves are to be accepted by proctors
Course Curriculum Overview:
It is the only course which includes both Electronics and Computer Science, which is beneficial s both of these goes hand in hand and without the either one, the other won't exist, the student faculty ratio is awesome 1 faculty per 40 students IG, and every faculty is PhD, and also publishes research papers 2-3 research papers every year, schedule of the exams is released with the semester calendar so it is very easy to keep a track of exams.

- I really liked the hostel life of VIT, the people I met along this journey, the campus life and the sports facility, mess food and going to the classes then hanging out with my friends around the campus also i liked going on outing with my friends.
Dislikes
- I really dislike the amount of unnecessary rules like the intime of hostel and the need of ID card when we go out of hostel, but still these rules have definitely helped me become more disciplined and better my ability to do work even if dislike it.
Placement Experience:
Companies start coming to the college in 3rd year either with a full time job or an internship offer.
The number of companies that visited in 2023 was 904 with an average package of 9.23 lpa and 14000 students we placed.

- Campus Life - lots of extra curricular activities
- Food courts - wide variety of food cuisines available

- Outing restrictions - have to undergo alot of process for outing and strict with outing timings
- Sports amenities - limited sports amenities for such arge numbers of students
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. There are alot of companies that visit VIT. The placements are centralized, i.e., the placements are combined for vellore, chennai, amaravati and bhopal campuses. The average package is approximately 9LPA.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles. Accenture, Adobe, Infosys, EY, KPMG, and others were among Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's top recruiters in 2022.
