It's a good college with an extensive network of almuni almost ever major shipping company in the world has at least one of the employ from dmet now known as meri so if you like marine field you can come in this college

It's the best place for doing the Marine engineering Nd training. I always feel lyk I did the best decision by choosing this lyf

Placement is quite good. Around 70% of the cadets are placed who are eligible for placement.the major companies were NYK lines, MSc, sci, fleet management, APL, Gesco etc.

Since it is a government college. It is facing same problems like other govt colleges. Large politics and do nothings . Infrastructure is not good . Water logging problems in rainy season. But the good thing is that authorities are now paying attention on it , And i hope thing wil change in the upcoming years.

overall its good college. Its fantastic college for boys enjoyment and good reluted college for such a old college.

IIT JEE, JIPMER, WBJEE, CET, AIPMT, I got chance in IIT but I decided to join MERI kolkata as it can build your career in more prosperous way, you'll be trained for life risking situations.

Every thing is best in the college the only thing i think the college in-fracture should improve and placement cell.

College management here is a bit irresponsible they don't take of anything everything they put on the students.
