The quality of placements is medium or we can say more than average. Metallurgy branch has the highest placement approx 98%. Rest branches lie in 50-60%. The highest package is offered by Tata Steel to the students of the Electrical, Mechanical, ECE and Metallurgy branch. The average package is 3-4 lacks per annum. Overall the placement is good in terms of fee structure.

From my perspective, every student become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. I think many companies visit and 60 percent placement occurs most of the time. The least package is 3 lakh per annum and the highest could be 10 lakh per annum. Mostly it companies visit the campus. For core branches, some good companies do visit and give a good offer

Our college overalls placement is about 54-55%. When I have joined the college our department had 45% students placed in various companies. Now, in the last batch, it goes to 65% which's higher than total college placement. The highest package goes to 10.80 lakh, the lowest package was 3.50 lakh and the average package was 6.5 lakh per annum. Top recruiters are TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, L&T, VEDANTA, JSL, JINDAL STEEL AND POWER, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LIMITED, ADANI GROUP, TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, ZS ASSOCIATE etc. 45-50% Student got internship in various private and PUBLIC sector companies like TATA STEEL, DRDO, BARC, CISCO etc.

The Number Of Companies Comes To The College Recruitment Is Good. Students Become Eligible In Their 7th Semester For The Recruitment. Some Of The Companies Who Visits Our College Are Rmpl, Industrybuying, Innolabz Etc.

The placement of my college is improving day by day. Every year nearly 30-35% students have been placed.Many companies are visited such as Aditya Birla group, Tata Steel, Tcs Ninja,Tcs Digital, L&T, Tata Power, Transrail, Delotite, Byju, Vedanta,etc. Highest package is 11 lakhs and average package is nearly 6 lakhs.

Students can bag the PPO's from 3rd year if they are willing to go for campus placements or internships. Companies like tata steel, Adani, Deloitte, and many other companies recruit a good number of students from the college and also provide good CTCs. If the students have any ideas about start-ups or entrepreneurship, the college has their back. It has a start-up cell that supports such ideas and if they succeed to pitch in their ideas they also get help from the alumni of the college.

Students from the 7th semester are eligible for the placement drive. The institute has an active Training and Placement Cell which works round the clock to secure lucrative job opportunities for its students. As per the placement record of 2018-19, 318 students got placed in various companies. The highest salary package of Rs 10.12 LPA was bagged by a BTech in Mechanical student. Top companies such as Tata Hitachi, Tata Steel, Aditya Birla Group and Wipro visit the campus to recruit students.

From 3rd year we are eligible to get a Pre-placement offer and the final year is eligible for campus placements. I am preparing to get a placement in the final year. For getting placed we should qualify the minimum CGPA criteria which vary for different companies. The average package is 4 lakhs.

After getting the degree I am planning to do an MBA. And talking about the placement that the college offers is not so high but the average package is 4-5 lakhs. Only a few students are able to get a 10 lakh package. If you will sit for campus placements with proper preparation, definitely you will get placed.

Students start getting PPO offers from the 5th semester. Total companies visiting BIT Sindri are more than 50. Some of them are Hindustan Unilever, Infosys, TCS Ninja, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, TCS Digital, Tata Power, Jindal Steel , Accenture, FIITJEE , Byju's Learning, ACC Cement Reliance Digital, etc, Highest package offered is around 12LPA by Tata steel. The average package offered is around 6LPA. Every year around 350+ students get placed in big and small companies through campus placement. After getting a degree I will join some companies through college placement.
