Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college

Dislikes

The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

its a overall good collage

Likes

I most like in my college is the collage campus
faculty behavior and study teqnick and helpfull mentality

Dislikes

classses size I dont like class size of HIT
there are no rest room for guardians when they come to collage
girls hostel washroom . girls hostel wasah room was not clean properly

Reality of HIT

Likes

Teachers are very helpful for students, they have lots of experience.
Infrastructure is good, the main building is round shaped which is looked amazing.
Hostels facilities are good,cheaper and provides good food.

Dislikes

You're studying in a private college, there are lots of thing that you're disliking.
Toxic culture between seniors and junior studens,they have to only listen to seniors waht to wear, how you shape your beards.
Environment is not that much good, less numbers of restaurants,doesn't have lots of franchise store village like area

Placement Experience:

From starting of 7th semester students are allowed to participate for placements, placements records are good but on papers only, it sector jobs are not that good as core branch jobs, if you're doing chemical engineering you will definitely getting a job but if you're from technical field you have to compete with all others. Even TCS doesn't come for on campus placements.this year half placements are completed but only 80 students placed. Average package is around 4 lpa

HIT , a better place for college life

I like the campus, the environment and the people of our college

Dislikes

Seniors give assignment to juniors , there should be strict rules for ragging

Placement Experience:

The placements are good with the recruiters like Wipro, Accenture , Flipkart. Usually every one get placed and the average package is nearly 5 lakhs per annum. About 90% of the students get placement .

Overall it is a affordable college

Likes

Campus Life is very good. Seniors and juniors interactions are good.
Faculty are of helpful nature. They can guide you in every situations.
This college is totally ragging free college and strict actions are taken those who do ragging

Dislikes

Classroom conditions are not too good. Same classroom as school.

Placement Experience:

From 6-7 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies like ADANI , INFOSYS , WIPRO , TCS , PWC , EXIDE , IBM , FLIPKART and etc. Highest package offered by this college is 44Lpa and average package is 6Lpa. About 85% students of CSE branch get placements.

MY COLLEGE REVIEW.

Likes

The college campus area is very good and of big size which I can explore.
In my college there are many events take place which help us to learn new things and how to become effective in all fields.
Faculty members are also very supportive are experienced.

Dislikes

The college management continuously takes examination.
The location of college is in a remote area, sometimes it makes some difficulties.
On campus placement happens but the companies do not offer a high amount of salary so there is needed improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as I wants to become a computer engineer ,also there are many job opportunities in this field. As I talk about faculty members they are very good in teaching and supportive also,the faculty:student ratio is also very nice, they are very well qualified. The college regularly takes exams so that we should keep learning, if we study we would definitely pass the exam.

Review on HIT Haldia.

Likes

Hostel of hit haldia is cheap and affordable.
Clubs are very good here. You can get into sports if you have interest in any.
Food in 1st year hostel, of specially ranichak is just awesome.

Dislikes

Location of the college is outer. You don't get the city life around the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Btech in cse is the most demanding branches of all in engineering colleges. This branch opens up the interest in computer science if you don't have any. The faculty student ratio is good. Faculties in HIT Haldia are well qualified, almost all are PhDs.

Placement Experience:

In our college one became eligible for placement in 7th semester i.e. final year . Here placement percentage ratio is very good compared to other private institutions . The companies visited every year namely Haldia petrochemicals , Flipkart , Amazon , Atomberg , TCS , Mahindra , Infosys and many more . The highest package offered in campus was of 27 lakhs per annum as per last year data .

HIT - A Nice Place for College Life

Likes

Campus is very good and explorable . Nice environment and greenary.
The faculty members and the laboratory facilities
Different clubs and socities give opportunity for extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

Placement condition can be improved and more mass recruiters should come.
There should be strict rules and regulations for ragging process

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies come to the college like amazon, cognizant, flipkart, wipro , etc. Highest package is 25 lakhs and the average package is 5 lakhs. Nearly 70% students get placed.

College environment is very good. And every one support each other.
College support your extracurricular activities .
Sports facilities is very good . Gym is also freee.

The placement scenario is very good in our college. So many good companies visited our campus. Almost 90-92 percent of students placed every year. Company arrives when you are in 7th semester means starting of 4th year.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC

Courses:

The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.

Placements:

As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.

Fest:

The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
