Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Some teachers are great in this college they always try to motivate us and tells to do external curriculam activities and try to learn external skills to upgrade ourself for placements . And they also help those students who interested for Gate exam
Another great things in heritage is clubs and activities though most of the clubs are inactive still main clubs like resonance,gdsc ,coding club and sports club are really active sports club every year organise tournament each year in particlaur week
We have a central library which is great for studies and spending leisure times and college labs are also big and good most of the lab have new and latest equipments and classrooms are quite spacious and well-structured

Dislikes

The most unlikely thing for this college is that they dont organize fest .though most of the seniors had tried to convinced teachers for this frst but teachers never shown any interests on it . So its a very bad point for this college
No doubt our college campus are big but there some limitations that we caannot (btech students) entering or exiting the college from others gate except gate 9(there's 9 gate) .and inside campus have 3 fields but only 1 ground is allocated for ours
As i mentioned that some teachers motivate us and also guide us how to face curriculums on the other hands some teachers never tried to explain us these kind of things and they also do demotivates us .

Placement Experience:

We do have a Placement Cell at our institute campus, and it is quite active. Recently there has been a rapid growth in the Cell where 80% of the core branches students have successfully achieved placement of an average package of 5 LPA from renowned companies like tcs, Capgemini, wipro, Ibm,E&y and some startups.

Life at Heritage!!

Faculty Response: All the faculties are very co-operative and helpful in nature and they encourages us to try new things.
Best yet Affordable: This is best private engineering college in West Bengal yet quite affordable than others.
Central Library: Campus has a very beautiful central library with the capacity of 300+ students equipped with centralized air conditioner.

Dislikes

Fest: There is no fest took place from the last 4-5 years(i.e., Cultural, & Tech fest).
Canteen: Food tastes really good but our canteen has shifted to the main playground which is kind of unbearable in summers.
Assignments: There are lot of assignments given by the teachers but they will also helps you with your doubt at any time.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for placements. However, they can do an internship in any semester. Companies visited: TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Capgemini, Wipro, etc. Highest Package: Rs. 15Lakh Average Package: Rs. 3.5Lakh Percentage of the students getting place varies from department to department, for CSE it is: 80-85%+

An eventful journey

Likes

Seniors were very supportive in the college.
Teachers are really helpfull and know their domains very well.
Friendly and ragging free environment. All becomes friend in four years.

Dislikes

Fests is what lacked in my college life.
Attendance needed to maintain in initial years.

From 7th semester onwards, a student will become eligible for placements but before that in 6th semester, student has to do training and internships. In our time companies were hardly visited due to recession, however by the end of placement season 1 year later, my branch had 80%-85% placement. Highest from my branch was 11LPA and overall it was 12.

Zero Ragging. I mean it. Seniors are fairly chill. Roam the campus, visit the canteen, the library, it's all very peaceful. But also, no freshers.
Most are nice. A few are not so nice. But all are supportive when it comes to providing good notes for exams.

Dislikes

No freshers Should be self explanatory. But as first years we miss out on the most fun thing that all freshers expect for
Try to attend those regularly. It's annoying how badly it can impact your cgpa of you miss a few of those.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester or fourth year students are considered eleigible for campus placements. The placement is nothing exceptional to be honest. Especially for core branches. But if you are in circuital branches you can sit for both core as well as IT companies. Some of the regular companies visiting are, TCS, INFOSYS, ITC Infotech, Cognizant, IBM, Smartkid Education, Nineleaps technology etc. The average package for EE students would be approx around 3-4 lakhs at most. Many from core branches go for GATE, or government exams in engineering. My own plan is to go for a masters after this course or try for Central Government EE jobs

College campus is quite good the size is not that big but it's maintain and its greenery,the faculty and teacher is helpful the very good thing is there is no ragging in the college and the seniors are quite helpful they don't show any kind of......
... Dominance they were always ready to help and mind their own business college have quite good infrastructure and curriculum so u don't face any problems through out college life and for every branch their is a mentor for us so u can feel free to..
Ask anything any doubt about college nd placements,In college there is campus hiring and in my branch if you did study and your CGPA is above 8 or 8.5 there is higher chance you will a good placement of package around 4.5 lakhs to 10 LPA accordingly

Dislikes

The very first and common thing I don't like about is there is no scholarship for people outside of West Bengal and college also don't show much interest about it,and college has also increased the fees around 1.6 lakh and that is quite high for sure
And the second big problem here is language barriers means if you are non Bengali,You will suffer alot due to Hindi and Bengali people Don't know why don't like talking in hindi and that make hard to communicate with them so it's kinda a limit for u.
And there is very few internship opportunities means it's hard to get paid internship from college They do encourage you but don't provide any kind of support for that so you have to do it by urself and also there is no placement practice things here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because of my interest in robotics and sensors and instrumentations, the curriculum of the college teachers you most of the things about industrial work and how things work in instrument field there is a lot of seminar and exhibition to acknowledge how things work in this field, the teaching speed is quite fast you have to be a fast learner to learn everything because syllabus complete so fast you have to match with it, so my suggestion is teacher have to understand not every student can have same sparkle and needed must go a little bit slower for understanding of every student, the frequency and and timing of exam is quite fast means you don't get time to understand the whole syllabus and the next semester exam comes up and in between of that there is a lot of surprise test and mid sem and lab exam viva all of this things comes through so you just be in hurry complete the syllabus and give the semester exam and that's makes a little difficult first students to understand what they are actually learning it should be a little slower or to give extra time in between of every semester.

Inside Heritage Institute of Technology: Opportunities, Campus Life, and Beyond

It has got some really good faculty members
The campus in itself is good and the infrastructure is also quite good
It has got three grounds , a basketball court etc . The food in the canteen is also hygienic and of good quality.

Dislikes

A little bit of renovation is required in the mechanical labs.
There are no boys hostels but hostels for girls are available on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's an autonomous college affiliated to MAKAUT. So , in terms of course curriculum it's excellent. The course is carefully designed so that it meets modern day needs and the students enrolled can land a good job or go for higher education degrees easily.

I liked the infrastructure and teaching methods
They have a lot different playground according to sports

Student diversity , there are mostly Bengalis and Biharis

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. Some company's like vipro , tcs come in our college for placement. The highest package was of 25 LPs and lowest was of 5 lpa . 95% students get placement. I want to try for off campus placement offers

Campus is very clean and Aesthetic and it attracts student to study as it is peaceful yet fun.
library, there are 4 libraries, the base library has uncountable books.
Professor. they are very helpful, a little strict, but kind.

Dislikes

Increase in fees without any prior notice.
maintenance of playgrounds and equipments.

Placement Experience:

placements are offered, and it was offered to every students, and more then 55 companies came, and all branches had offered core placements too. and Also yes we have training and placement cell in our college.

Likes

Campus is very big and the infrastructure is good , the faculty is also very good.
There is no restriction based on uniform which gives the student a sense of having freedom being a college student
There are numerous extra curricular activities for to student to opt for during their respective course.

Dislikes

Air conditioners can be installed in classes
Rooms can be made to make the class more comfortable
Microphone can be used by the faculty members as well as projectors

Placement Experience:

Based on the present scenario, placements are going a bit down but students from our college has got offer of 11 LPA from CS stream this year , still now placements are offered proving it to be a good college and on campus placements are also offered

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
