Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Grateful for giving chance to say something about my College

Likes

In my College still now many things have appreciated me . There I found healthy environment of study.
Besides the academic and the faculties are really very helpful and experienced.
The fellow I have got in my College are really helpful which will help me more in future purpose.

Dislikes

The class schedule may be bored to me. It's duration is from 9am to 5pm.
The sports ground is not so good in my College I think
I think surprise test in classes should be removed.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement Students will apply from 4th year of college. But they get internship in various companies it may be tech or non tech...Companies like TCS , Wipro, Cogzinant, Microsoft, Tata, etc visit in our college and hire students. Every year above 80% of students get placed.

Extremely satisfied with heritage institute of technology as it gives me feeling of college in movies

Likes

The college placements, internship programs and support from the techers
The whole college campus as it gives the feel of college like in movies
Extra curricular activities other than study like it has big big grounds for every sports

Dislikes

It does not give student I'd card quickly to the first year students as it not much importance for them to
There is no party organized by the college for the students.
It is too big so may you find difficult to find your class of you are new

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage is very high, above 90% with average annual salary of 7,00,000 and you will feel distracted towards this offers because as you are completing your studies you will get high salary offers and it is not matter to get placement here because they will ready you to start your own startups or business in your own field

It has a very big campus. Although HITk consist of 3 building
The faculty teaches very well. They are very supporting like they can help you in clearing all the doubts.
It's an autonomous college. So semester exam happens in the college campus only. Also it will release it's results within a specific time without any delay

Dislikes

The way it is increasing its fees. It has increased its fees from 4lakhs to 6 lakhs and also for the second year students also without a prior notice
Some classrooms are very compact. Like we didn't get enough air conditioning in it that creates a huge problem in summers.
The campus area is very good but they are not well developed. Although half of the area belongs to the heritage school only.

Placement Experience:

The college offers the campus placement from the 7th semester. In the 7 th semester only the companies started coming to our college with an average package of 4-5lpa. Although there are some companies which offers around 12 lpa. Although the placement rate depends on market but still I guess atleast half of the students gets placed Many students also opt for the higher studies like Gate etc.

encouragement for startups. there are many events where you can pitch your ideas and get investments in your 1st year of college itself
subjects like humanities is also included in our curriculum where we are taught proffessional ethics .
Canteens serve a good hygenic food at very cheap rates

Dislikes

you will have to study a lot as they are constantly taking surprise tests

Placement Experience:

placement cell of heritage is very active and the entreprenueur club also supports startups... almost 80% of the students get placed in good companies including TCS , WIPRO but they always encourage you to find a job on your own by completing different projects

Likes

Faculties of the college is very friendly and supportive.
There are varieties of clubs and all are very active.
So many types of sports are available for students.

Dislikes

There are no fest, freshers and fairwell.
There is no AC available in the classroom.
Food in the canteen is not good and not hygiene.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not very high but it is good. The average placement is 5-6 lpa which is a good figure for starting package. For every companies there is different eligibility criterias .

The College has good startup culture, start-ups are very much promoted, different hult prizes are given for startup ideas, college provides different workshops to promote a very healthy startup environment , different companies are invited by college
Sports: college promotes it's students for different sports like badminton, basketball, cricket, football, archery, volleyball, and various other sports, it also organises inter College, and intra college, sports competition, inorder to promote sport
Faculty: the faculty of this college is very good, highly educated, and helpful, almost majority of the teachers are PHD holders from different renowned institutions like IITs and jadhavpur university, and the teachers are very much dedicated.

Dislikes

Infrastructure: College doesn't have a very amazing infrastructure, which I feel is a demerit, no place to spend time with friends. College should improve its infrastructure, increase there buildings, and also there is no boys hostel in the college.
Library timings: The library of college is quite impressive, but it closed at 8 pm, which really disappoints me, many colleges provide 24*7 library facilities, but this college doesn't even provide 12*7 library facilities, it disappoints a lot.......
College Canteen: College Canteen is very Ok Ok type canteen, doesn't have proper veg food available, i feel Little unhygienic easting is college, as it is very small, and become very chaotic during peek hours, college should make a new buildingCantee

Every course been taught in the college is relevant with there respective branch, regular labs are been conducted so that students gets practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge, the syllabus is very well designed by the management, if someone really wants to study, college provide a very good environment.

Autonomous institution so little hardwork required

HOPING FOR THE BEST

Firstly I liked the nature and environment of the college which is completely greenery.
Secondly the classes and labs of different departments are very clean and have the best devices.
The teacher's are very friendly and always ready to help you with any subject.

Dislikes

The canteens food, like it's good but some of the items on the menu are really bad.
The library guards doesn't allow us to write project files inside the library.
Its veryy confusing to find your class if you don't have remember the room number as all of the floors n rooms look same.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. companies like TCS , Google , Amazon , ect come. 100% students get placed. Highest package is 18L and everage is 6L. I have planned to get a job in google or T.CS on a good post and go abroad

The college is best private college in terms of fees and refund after the placements.It provides well 5-7 lakhs per annum placement and highest in campus goes about 16 lakhs .Also the facilities are good and academically the college is the bes.
The infrastructure and smartness of college in terms of technology, sports etc are best

Dislikes

The campus is only of 10 acre including all the other courses buildings.
No fest has happened in the college for the last 4-5 years.Almost the clubs in the college are dead.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from 7th semester.The companies that visits the college are cognizant,TCS,Grand Thornston,Haldia Petrochemicals WIPRO, MICROSOFT , Accenture etc The highest package offered last year was 13 lakh and average package was 5-7 lakhs. About 85% of the students got placed last year.

The faculty here is really good. They are very much welcoming and help us whenever required.
The campus is big and beautiful with big grounds allowing you to play whenever u are free.

Dislikes

There is absolutely no fests which disallow the students to showcase their talent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was driven to choose this course just because of my love for computer. The course teaches us with real world problems how to deal with them. There is still a chance to imporve the skill aspect of the course. The exams are much frequently taken which disallows the students to improve their skills.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
