Heramba Chandra College Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement of our college is decent. Every year, a good number of reputed companies comes for placement process to hire Freshers from our college. The students are eligible after 2year for the placement interview. The percentage of students getting placement is not sure but approximately between 40-60%. My plans after completing this course are to do M.A and further studies later on.

The ranking of the College in various education knowledge websites and prior to that my own brother, sister suggested me and also my uncle passed B.Com (General) course from the same college. The teachers are very much cooperative to the students and they are quite friendly to students. The Department of Commerce is very good and well knowned by all living in South Calcutta. Many famous people passed out from this college and working to build up a better tomorrow. The College is completely well disciplined and on time. But one thing I faced is delay in publishing notice for everything from publishing holiday notice to notice for publishing results. Overall I'm having a great experience in this college. But I'm rating it 9 for the delay in publishing notices.

For my course i don't have such apportunity i guess . I have some other plan . After completing my course i am going for masters degree and than b.ed or other further planing as per the situation. As per now i also have some planning to crack some govt job exams or banking exams

The college helps each student in exploring placement opportunities by inviting various companies during the campus placement. Students who are in the final year of the program or graduated are eligible for campus placements. Our top recruiters are Yes Bank , Wipro, Lic , Indigo Hdfc Bank ,Bandhan Bank , Abp News. The highest package offered is 8 lakhs per year and the lowest package offered is 3.7 lakhs per year. As per the reports provided by the college around 2400 students have participated in placements from the year 2012-2018 and more than 2000 students got selected by the recruiting Organisations .

I have chosen this course because it was my passion to pursue commerce. Faculty: Student ratio was on an average basis. Faculty are highly educated in Masters, Bachelors and PhD respectively with the average teaching method. Exams were on yearly basis (1+1+1) and was average to pass.

In 2015, college still ran on a yearly basis. The companies started visiting the campus in the early third year. Many Companies Like TCS IPRO ICICI life insurance, Telekart, Indigo, etc visit the campus on a regular basis. The average CTC was 200000 PA. After completion of my degree, I went ahead to work for a private manufacturing company.

Mainly final year students are eligible for campus placement. Lots of famous companies visited our college for placement programs like Reliance, TCS,info sis, etc. The companies offer Rs 15000-25000 monthly packages to the students. Maximum students are getting placements of this college. I will try this placement program on next upcoming year.

The college ties up with various companies that visit the college every year to counsel students regarding job oppurtunities on completion of the course. the college has its self run career counselling unit to guide students aspiring for placements. Placements are quite high. Approx. 90% students get placement every year. haven't thought of any future plan after completion of my course.

This college is not worst it is also best but i belong from average family and its price is very affordable middle class college.The only thing i like about college is that it demand very low fees which i like most.

One of the best course in the finance background. This course is the undergraduate course of finance and it helps to a good base or formation in the accounts.I think everyone should do B.com first if he/she wants to maximise his/her career in finance.
