It's like when you enter the college it seems like a white bungalow like president house resort something like you know very precious and costliest hotel luxurious hotel.
Scholarships are provided to bright students and the reserved sections.
The faculty is skilled and they have a positive approach towards us

Dislikes

The college timings it starts from 8 in the morning, the time table is not so good and about teaching staff there are good and bad .
The principal is not good, as you may heard the Shruti scandal ??
Drinking water facilities are very poor.

IPCW- One of the best campus environment in Delhi

Likes

One of the most beautiful campuses. The serene campus makes it a perfect place for academic focus.
It is the only college offering BMMMC in DU.
The staff is well-qualified and supportive.

Dislikes

It is isolated from the North-campus, even though it's 3 metro stations away.
The college societies can be more active than usual.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of the course of the B.A. program (History and Political Science) is highly relevant. You will find a detailed study on contemporary topics as well as ancient theories in political science. The curriculum of history is vast and varied.

They college campus is so beautiful and peaceful.
Placements: The percent varies from 80 to 90, and as I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's, I cannot give you the exact information. But as far as internships are concerned, the internship panel is quite active & offers verified internships.
Students and faculty members are very good and helpful for the new students too, even tho it's a girls college but it is far better than other dangebaj colleges.

Dislikes

It is not as prominent as other north campus colleges.
The principal is not good, as you may heard the Shruti scandal 😴
Lacks of fun activities like this year's fest was so dull and not fun.

Course Curriculum Overview:

my course is pretty decent in terms of learning and understanding the real life aspects. Bcom hons was pretty ranked course in delhi university, it is better course to do. My semester started on like 16th of August and the exams were held on 21 of December 2023 and next sem started on 18th of January and exams were on 22nd of May. The timing in between is pretty decent to learn the things but not for the accounts.

All about 1st Girls college of Delhi University

Likes

IP college has great infrastructure. The campus is comparatively bigger than other colleges of Delhi University. I really liked the environment,greenery and the peacefulness of campus
The college has good two floored library
The college is good for those who are really studious . The faculty of college is also really good . I'm pursuing Bcom hons and the commerce faculty is really very helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

I somewhere don't like the management of the college . Sometimes even the official things took so much time which really irritates the students as well as faculty.
I'm living in hostel and to be honest the hostel is expensive which needs to be lower in price
Some of classrooms are not ventilated plus the beaches are also not comfortable.

Placement Experience:

The campus of placement of IP college is well good. Average placement package is 8LPA and the highest placement package is 32LPA . The 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Deloitte and DeShaw visit every time. But the DeShaw provides only 1 offer . 70% students are placed.

Personal experience about IPCW

Likes

The infrastructure and facilities especially required for my course.
Extracurricular activities are always happening to provide an opportunity to students.&

Dislikes

Drinking water facilities are very poor.
The washrooms are not well maintained and unhygienic .
Professional visits and outings are comparatively very less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well balanced and this is one of the reasons why I chose this college. They provide a very balanced and practical approach to students as in teaching through ppts and providing practice for each and every subject that requires practice and practical knowledge.

Unlocking excellence - A journey through IPCW

Likes

I love the infrastructure of our college specially the greenery in front of main building. It was and is the most amazing thing to look
Initiatives have been taken for better waste management and eco friendly environment like installation of separate dustbins for disposal

Dislikes

I dislike the time table of my college. There are lot of leisure periods during classes.
Some of the faculty of elective courses are not very considerate while giving assignments.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for Placements in final year of the degree. Placements are there but the annual salary package is not very high. According to my knowledge till now the highest package any student got was about 6 lacs . After completing graduation many students go for Masters from University of Delhi. Many students like few of my known seniors are pursuing MBA from known colleges after appearing for entrance exams . Besides them many go for competitive and government post exams such as UPSC ,PCS etc.

All insights about IPCW

Likes

The infrastructure is great. It's known to be similar to Cannaught place in delhi. It's a white royal building. The front part of the college is not allowed to be changed in any way. Overall it's red and white.
My college has also been known to be the most clean and green as compared to other colleges. There are dustbins in small distances. There's also a proper compost for waste management in the campus.

Dislikes

Some of the faculty members aren't that good. They teach for the sake of teaching, not paying attention whether the students are able to understand it or not.
The college is far from the main north campus region. It lies in civil lines.

Placement Experience:

Though I've heard that the college placement is good for economics honours. But it's still low as compared to other colleges. It's just 6 LPA. though I'm not sure about my future plans, but I'll probably give CDS.

Indraprastha College Ins and Outs

Likes

The infrastructure compared to other DU colleges is good
The campus is filled with greenery and a lot of cats are given home here
The canteen is clean, and provides a good variety of food

Dislikes

There is end moment chaos right before examination regarding formal work which could be handled better
The fests and opportunities are not as impressive or engaging compared to the other ones
Hectic and the timetable is sometimes illogical and tiring for day scholars with 3-4 hours of gap between the classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because of my interest for philosophical thinking and socratic dialogue. I believe anyone with decent beral intellect would do good at this job. The areas for improvement i feel are when they teach us completely unrelated subjects to my course like aec vac sec I feel there should be more choice and there should be options to choose from related subjects.

The real side of my college

Likes

Cleanliness and greenary of the college.They have pet animals to . Promote environmental events to give more knowledge about our nature . Basically the college is to green and it's main eye catching white building is too good .
As a fresher I need some guidance to sort out some new things ... and in this our seniors helped a lot. We got the every facility like computer labs , garden area, canteen , sports area , auditorium , lecture hall etc .
Teachers are lenient and genuine. They help us to guide what to do next after college . They regularly take classes. They take doubt classes on time .

Dislikes

We got the computer labs but the computers don't work properly there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course is BSc maths hons ..and maths is the king of all subjects. It's a little bit hard but if you do daily revision or only learn whatever taught in the class you can easily get good marks in the examination. You know we can't get direct job after bsc so you should prefer to do something else with it like if you want to be a data scientist there you need maths and computer science knowledge both ..so you can go with this course + computer science course from wherever you want . And if you want to be a mathematician then this will be a perfect course. Nothing is hard if you do practice and maths is a subject that needs a lot of practice.

Ups and downs of Ipcw

In addition,ip college honors students with various scholarships based on their all round development

Dislikes

Their is no proper drinking water facility.
Washroom are not clean properly,The canteen food is also not tasty
There is swimming pool in college which is not opened students. The badminton sports area is also not ggod

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course choosen by me is economics and Political science and for me these both the subjects are interesting. The curriculum of these subject is good and hard .And for political science their is not proper study material you have to go through the whole book for a single topic

The college campus is vast and beautiful , the college has a history of 100 years it is the oldest womens college in DU
The college has all facilities for study and extra curricular activities like gym , vast play ground basketball court and also a very good library
The college campus is very eco friendly and is one of the most beautiful campuses of DU , it is very calm and peaceful

Dislikes

It is a bit far away from Du north campus colleges even though the college comes under the north campus, it is in civil lines
The college is apolitical so if you are looking for political active one this college is not for you
The college timings it starts from 8 in the morning, the time table is not so good and about teaching staff there are good and bad .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course BA program in which you could pursue 2 disciplines, I choose history and political science, if you are a upsc aspirant this would be very helpful They could do some museums visit historical monument visit for history , another thing nep has made the syllabus so difficult, cause foe vac and sec , which are skill development courses we have to give importance to these subjects which are not very important, and has to do a lot of assignments for these Other than that the main subjects are easy for me you also have to choose a major for this course BA program, like from history and political science you need to choose a major so if you choose history you will have 2 paper for history and 1 paper for political science
