UIET Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The companies for placements visit UIET in the final year. Some big names are Amazon, Samsung, ZS Associates, and Deloitte. Giving an average package of around 8 LPA. Except for campus placements, UIET also has ME and Ph.D. courses.

Placements in 7 sem. Amex, optimum, zs, and amazon are a few of the big companies that visit for cse/it branches. If you want to get a placement you will for sure get one. Only those students who are not interested don't get one, the rest get enough opportunities. Be patient. In quiet it's not a big deal.

Placements of Cse and It are very good and many excellent companies offer excellent packages to students. Compaines like Amazon, American Express, optimum, and many startups also offer in uiet. Students become eligible for placement in the 7th sem. The highest package last time was 44 LPA which was off-campus I think and the on-campus highest is 34 by amazon. Around 90% of cse and its students get placed in decent companies so if you are from it or cse you don't have to worry.

Placements are done in the 7th sem of the degree. There are 70+ companies visiting campus with all the roles. namely American Express, ZScaler, ProcDNA, Policy Bazar, Amazon, Samsung, etc. The highest package is 40 LPA and the roles offered are Analysts, SDE, BTA, BTSA, etc. 95% placements in CS and IT.

As soon as 6 semester and from starting of 7th semester students become a judge for campus placement and some of the companies visited as seen by me is it was American express ,amnazon,Utrade, policy bazaar and etc many company visit about you can say 50 company visit and the highest package offered was about 40 lakhs and the average package was about 7.5 lakhs and the percentage of students getting placed in ECE,CSE and IT department is about 90% and in EEE you can say about 60% and in mechanical say about 40% my plan after getting this degrees I want to take a decent package as I am from also doing coding and also college also have good coding culture so I am doing it so I hope I'll get a good package.

The placement of UIET is very good. In 2022, the highest package is 45 lakh (on campus) and 50 lakh(off campus). The overall average package is 7 lakh(all departments). If you can't get placement on campus then you can apply for off-campus.

After the 6th semester, u become eligible for placement and training various mnc visit our campus for placements. Google, American Express, Zs scaler, Deolite, and Samsung, are one of them, and 120offers were made which were equal to 12 lakh CTC. The highest package from our college was 36 CTC. Overall 88percent of students got placed in our college.

The placements are quite good. The placement session happens when the student completes his/her 6th semester. After that various companies including Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, ZS, and Deloitte comes and offer packages to students. The Highest package can be 30 lakhs or more and the average package is generally 5-6 lakhs. Almost 90% and above students are placed every year. I have just been placed and looking forward to working in my new job.

The exams are of 2 types - the majors and the minors. The exams are of easy to moderate difficulty, one studying for even 1 week before exams can easily top them. The faculties are very well qualified and have done their degrees from prestigious institutes including IITs, BITS, and NITs. Their teaching method is nice, it is more on the faculty-dependent side. Student to faculty ratio is good it could have been better but currently, it is around 35:1.

The placement is good enough. The non-core branches like CSE IT ECE get nice packages and the core branches get the average packages because many of the students from core branches opt for higher studies rather than going for placement The average package is approximately 7 LPA
