UIET Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

3rd-year student is eligible for placements, companies like Amazon, Adobe, TSL, and many more good companies visit there around 70 percent of students gets placed every year, and some of them get a very good salary

After 6 sem student are capable of campus placement , big companies such as Amazon , Flipkart, ibm , TCS , Mahindra , tata , maruti, etc come here highest package was 40 LPA after degree I will prefer for MBA from IIM

Many students opt for placement after completing their courses both on campus and off campus placements. Many companies like Amazon, Samsung, TCS, Mahindra, Infosys, Cadbury, HP, Deloitte and many more are recruiters at UIET Chandigarh. With about 445 offers. The highest package was 45 LPA while the average package was 9.5 LPA. 90% get placement in UIET with the highest placement of about in CSE and IT Branches. I would also like to get placement in a reputed company for a high package and work as a software engineer.

From 7th sem onwards you can take internships and can get ppo in them or placements in 8th sem. Companies like Amazon Samsung, Kpmg and American Express and Paytm etc. visit campus for placements. Highest package is around 30 lpa and average is around 6.5 lpa and most pf the companies are here for IT related roles such as SDE and very few companies for core branches like GE, Isuzu and Mahindra and no of offers made is around 304.

College has quite good rapport in campus placements. IT branches have highest percentage of campus placements, whereas core branches score little lower. Students from any branch can go for on campus placements in IT companies having well with required skills.

For computer science and IT, the placement is nearly 90% which is quite good and decreases to 75% for ECE but the placement of EEE, MECHANICAL, and Biotech is very low about 20 - 30% only. Many of the core branches students, later on, study coding and goes for tech jobs. At present, I am not sure what will I do after getting my degree but In the back of my mind, I am thinking of giving the gate ecaminations.

Recruiters for session 2022 on campus:- Amazon - 17 offers of 41lpa ( because of this avg package reached 9.52lpa) American eExpress 09 zscaler, Samsung- 50 students, Philips, Schneider electric, Optum, ZS, L&t, Deloitte- 54 students placed, Isuzu, Mahindra, Hitachi , tata power, jio, by us, Infosys , cognizant , KPMG, Paytm , IndiaMART , policy Bazar, NPCI and few more while off-campus:- GOOGLE, WALMART, CRED, FLIPKART, ATLASSIAN Total oofferswere 445 highest package - 45lpa Avg - 9.52lpa offers above 12lpa - 120 no of recruiters - 70 these are out of 508 students

By 8th semester students are officially eligible for campus placements. But internship opportunities already starts from 6th semester. Various companies visit our college like cognizant, Deloitte, American Express, etc.The average package offered during UIET Chandigarh placements 2021 was INR 6.96 LPA, which rose by 1.3% when compared with 2020 stats.The highest number of jobs offers were made by Cognizant (72) followed by Deloitte (52) in UIET Chandigarh placement . CSE, IT & ECE have higher placement percentage more than 80-82% in comparison to core branches where placement percentage is lower most of the students opt for higher studies after B.Tech.

Due to my low rank in JEE MAINS I got Biotech Faculty are very good and enough for the students Prof. are well qualified and are very supportive to students Exam occur timely and the questions are average

From the 6th semester, students get eligible for the placement offers. For this term, the highest package offered was 40LPA by Microsoft and was grabbed by 12 students of the college. On average, around 40+ companies visit every year
