The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Ramjas college has too many trees and plants

Curriculum is very tough according to class 12 There is a major gap between school and college, there should be a light on the curriculum. Teaching method of teachers is good and they also teach very good

I liked there is experienced teachers along with good guidance and practicals.
Placement opportunities will have good opportunity along with infrastructure
Practicals and labs are developing the students thinking.

Dislikes

Opportunities like placement will have affected the students ability that have good in their subject.

The aspects of the curriculum of my college that I have influenced by timing and regular intervals of class.I think there is no any weak areas of the curriculum and teaching almost all the facilities are good.The exam is good along with moderate to difficulty.

Environment of the collage was very nice . There are so many things to explore
Sports and gym facilities are also provided which is very good
Library of the collage is also very good and many different types of books are provided threre

Dislikes

Discipline of the collage is something which I did not like at all
There is no facility of stationary and in the collage and near by area
The canteen area also not very clean and there is no sitting area is provided while eating

My coarse in ramjas college is physical science with chemistry It is one of the best coarse in our college We have our regular class from Monday to Friday This coarse is very easy and anyone can easily learn it

College infrastructure is very good . And it has biggest building with 5 floors and there is also various sports facilities.
There is many society in our college . More than 50 plus society in college
Most of the faculty are good and they teach in very nice way

Dislikes

There is a small canteen in our college and no proper available or sitting chairs
There is no ac in class room so in summer we feel very hot in class room
There is low placement in our college and average package is also very low

Placement Experience:

There is low placement in our college. The students who are in 6th semester are eligible for placement. The companies visited in college are Wipro, Walmart, Mother Dairy, Deloitte and many other companies. And placement per cent is 90 percent. The highest package is 19.65 lakh and the average is 6 lakh. My plans after graduation is to prepare of government exam

Friends circle is good, you'll get a variety of friends from different parts of india
Teachers are also good, they are helpful and kind.
Campus is also very green and there are many trees.

Dislikes

Campus during election is very unacceptable
There are posters and cards all over the campus
Functioning of lifts, sometimes it is out of order or some issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it has physics, chemistry and maths also, I was confused to choose any one from them but this course clarified my doubt. According to me, the curriculum should be according to class 12 syllabus as there are many reductions in the cbse curriculum, ugc and university should look into that.

Ramjas College - A brutally honest review

Likes

The faculty is great and friendly. They take your doubts and explain brilliantly
The Infrastructure of college is quite good and aesthetics are great
The societies are also great and you will get a lot exposure from here

Dislikes

The sports infrastructure needs improvement. The football and cricket ground needs to be renovated
The politics is too high here which makes the campus crowd sometime dirty
The classrooms doesn't have airconditioner which makes difficult to study in hot Delhi afternoons

Placement Experience:

After clearing your 5th semester students can sit in placement process. Most of the placements are form B.Com (Hons.) and BA.Eco(Hons.). All the big 4 companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC have visited Ramjas College. Other companies like Walmart, Mother Diary, Accenture etc. have visited here. The highest package is 19.25 LPA. Last year over 90% of students got campus placement

Campus life is very well , at the times during election, our college need to improve the security check in at the entry gates, as most of the outsiders come to our college.
No need to complete the attendance or having it as a burden, you can come at your own preference, just don't do proxy just to enjoy, if you have some productive work to do, then you can skip the classes
All the teachers are very helpful (mostly), everyone gives the freedom to do what you want

Dislikes

No proper maintenance like in other colleges do , like hansraj college, Hindu college, St Stephen's College
Canteen food is good but should have some more better changes and some.more cafeteria to be at the campus
College should ban some things like I've seen many students outside the canteen or at the gate, smoking, these things should be banned.

Placement Experience:

Yes there are placement cell in each department, one major placement cell in the whole college, you just have to learn all the skills you are interested in , you surely will have good placement and be a alumni of our college if you did some extraordinary work.

Ramjas College- pros cons and everything in between

The societies of the college are very active. Students get ample opportunities to interact, socialise and meet new people.Societies will also open opportunities to participate at an inter collegiate level, giving more chances for networking.
The professors are all highly qualified and at the top of theor respective fields. Professors are interactive and approachable. Obtaining a Letter of recommendation is fairly easy.
College crowd is very good. I've had many valuable conversations with my classmates, which have helped improve myself in both my personal and professional life.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure is very old and dated. Other than the administrative block, the maintenance throughout the college campus is suboptimal. Many classrooms are missing fans. Bathrooms are in an abysmal state.
Labs are very old and equipment is faulty. It is extremely tedious to aquire functioning lab equipment. This is my biggest complaint about the college. Even the equipments that do work are very old and rusty, making them very difficult to use.
Ramjas is very politically active college. This makes it prone to certain unruly incidents during election season. Although the chaos is limited to the people who are actively involved in politics, it does create a tensed environment on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive but fails to be relevant. In the course 3 years, the syllabus explores almost every major subfield in physics, yet throughout the course, the industrial applications of these subjects is very rarely brought up. So, what ends up happening is the students gain a lot of knowledge but fail to implement that knowledge effectively. I feel the curriculum should be more research oriented, teaching students the field, its implications and the ongoing research. I think this will help the students find a perspective on what they are learning and why. Exams are held every semester (Dec and June),while internals are conducted as per the professors wishes. The exams have a certain pattern to them, making it fairly easy to prepare fore them. Around 1 month of preparation is more than enough to score well in the exams.

Likes

Infrastructure as it has all modern amenities
Faculty is well qualified and helpful towards students
Campus Life is just amazing with great peers

Sometimes professor calls off the classes at last moment
It has a high standards of examination that made more competition among students

I really like that my college canteen has really good food which is really Available at very cheap prices.
Library of college is great which has two floors and has full ac coverage. Students can study there till 8 pm from Monday to Saturday.
College ground is really huge which has almost every sports equipment availability.

Dislikes

Wifi structure of college is not that good.
Students even get entry without any strict checking of I'd cards. In this way , anyone can enter.
Canteen seating area should expand according to the college crowd.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got admission in this course by clearing cuet exam. I wanted to take admission in bsc chemistry hons but didn't get admission, but this course is also great. This course teaches my about physics and chemistry concepts which can easily be applied in real world. More marks should be given on the basis of theory exam as we get 45 percent marks on the basis of our internals and 55 percent on basis of theory marks only. I gave 7 exams in first and second year, in that math has 3 hours exam , chemistry and physics has 2 hours , DSE (optional) I took chemistry (only in second year) has 2 hours exam/ GE(optional) took in first year has 3 hours exam, SEC(OPTIONAL) has 1hour exam, AEC (HINDI/ EVS) has 1 hour 45 minutes exam, VAC ( optional) has 1 hour exam. Now, in third year I have 6 subject , Math , Physics, Chemistry , DSE(chemistry) , GE(physical education) , sec(finance for everyone) .
