The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

The experience ft. Ramjas College

Likes

Ramjas has a huge campus area including the ground area.
It has many societies and clubs to make students engaged
Attendance system is also not very harsh you can easily get it. It has various things like auditorium, labs, library and many more things

Dislikes

Ramjas is like a political hub you will get to see many political activities rather than other things
Ramjas really needs to work on canteen, the canteen is quite disappointing in terms of food
There is a also issue of network you can face this but it's not only about ramjas it is in all north campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science is interesting course as you will get exposure to all three subjects that is chemistry, botany and zoology. You can find your interest accordingly and go for masters in any of the three subjects to like. You have wide option for having masters

Ramjas : A "che" to the "mistry"

Professors are experienced enough, their teaching methods are interesting. Ramjas provides the best teaching faculty in the field of chemistry in the entire Delhi University and it best fit here.
Campus has a beautiful view. It is spacious and has a great accommodation.
I believe that the course curriculum is completely relevant to the future options if you are thinking of making a career in the same field.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not so active so we weren't provided with any internships.
Some of the professors had an unprofessional behavior. Dr. Naresh (professor of green chemistry) had a wrong behavior, his method of teaching was not at all good, used to criticize the students a lot instead of motivating or helping them to try.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in studying chemistry since school so I opted for this course. The course is well built and designed in order to build your interest in this field. The college provides enough industrial visits to encourage you in the same field and organises sufficient conferences regarding the same. There are no such improvements required in the faculty except a few. Exams used to happen semester wise after every 5 months. We only used to prepare for these, only a few teachers asked us to solve an assignment and nothing much.

Truth of Ramjas Chemistry Department

Likes

There is a library in our college which provides books related to all the subjects.
Professors knows how to increase the interest of the students towards the subject.
Infrastructure is well designed and classrooms are clean and hygienic.

Dislikes

The lab lockers are actually much outdated and are not working properly.
There are projectors in every class of chemistry department but professors never use them.
Some chemicals in labs are outdated and therefore many reactions gets uncompleted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally used to love working in labs and our department actually take the labs genuinely. This subject and curriculum could give me opportunity to become a researcher , scientist or make me able to work in chemical industries. The chemsitry revolves around the structure of atoms or molecules which is hard to imagine therefore professors should use projectors to teach about the structures of molecules. One sem is about 3 months and then exam starts and this is enough time to prepare for the exams of moderate level.

Importance of good college and campus life

Likes

First thing that I liked is there is exposure to many other skills related sessions through which students acknowledged about other things rather than studies which is one of the most important thing in today's modern world
Second thing I can say that the seniors I have met till far are very helping and cooperative also very dedicated to their societies and responsibilties towards college
Last but not the least thing is there is an exposure to almost every society you liked whether it is related to sports,dance , music ,etc.

Dislikes

By the way there are not any things that I disliked but I can say that yes my college is massively active towards elections which is also a good thing for social development but there can be misshappens also although I can't see anything like that

Placement Experience:

As I said earlier there is a lot of importance on skills so that student can be independent on himself on behalf of his / her knowledge. By the way campus placement is very good so that student don't have to go anywhere .

Charming Ramjas

There are many things that I liked about my college,the first would be the green campus,and it has one of the largest campus of North campus.
One of the best thing that my college has is the online portal where students can see the basis details like time tables,their respective teachers,cr details and many more.
As my college is one of the oldest college of Delhi University,thus it has very experienced teachers that helps us in every kind of situation.

Dislikes

There is no such things exist that I dislike about my college if there exists some of it would be the lack of air conditioners classroom.
If I remember some more then that would be not better canteen.
And one more that I can remember is that at the time of college elections our college gets contaminated with the pamplets

Ok if I talk about my course in comprehensive manner then my course is enough good to study it is very interesting course to study at the same time it would be tough for some students. I have many friends that get scared from the name of physics. But physics is very interesting subject if I talk it's curriculum then it's curriculum is designed in such a way that it creates a level of analytical thinking in our mind. Studying physics can help us in solving many problems. It boosts out power of thinking and before graduation we just had learning power but since when I get admitted in this course I started thinking upon a theory or something topic vey deeply. Really it level up our thinking or memory power. The regular tests ,viva ,oral tests , practical all of these helps us in leveling up our thinking power.and when we have such type of thinking power we can handle any kind of situation very easily and we can crack exams easily.

Ramjas college is absolutely a better college , better infrastructure but one of the thing that I think need to be improved that is provided AC in classes
Campus Life is overall well and I have made a interactions with many people that is from North East side , south side which is a best thing for me
Faculty is almost well ,, teachers are helpful and explains thing in very well manner

Dislikes

One of the thing that I don't like that is teachers have not studied on projectors which not help in making notes
And other thing is that some washrooms don't provide the facilities of proper functioning of water

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 6 semester Companies that visited in ramjas college Vipro company Delloite company Farma company Highest package :19.25 lakh Average package: 5-6 lakh My plan after getting the degree ,, pursuing MSC in IIT college then PHD in organic chemistry

Exploring Ramjas:The Underrated college

Likes

The supportive and experienced faculty members played a major role in my college life
The Attendance criteria of 67% is strict on the surface but deep down it is ridiculed to its a plus point for me
College have all basic ammenties are available.the vibethe campus gives off i good there are many college societies helping in social interaction and seminars are often conducted to meet and listen to famous personalities and gain experience

Dislikes

The placement package are a bit average as compared to hindu,hansraj and other top du colleges
The infrastructure of the old building needs some renovation
The college canteen is not managed properly and kinda gives a dhaba vine

Placement Experience:

Students in 6th semester are eligible to apply for placements any student enrolled in college can apply for it. Companies like wipro,pharma company delloite etc visits our campus The average package is 5-6 lac while the highest package is 19.25 lac My course is mostly eligible for pharma companies placement but i plan on doing masters and get into teaching profession

The thing that I like the most is how teachers use the new technology in the college.

Dislikes

One thing that i dislike is that there is no uniform for the studdents and nor is any clothing code.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to the Ramjas College there aren't many places better to study than this. Also the scope of the economics is great and one can make a good career in this course. The exams are held in many ways internal exams , class tests they are frequent. But the main semester end exams are held every 6 months and the level of exams is easy.

Desirable college with great campus life but lacks placement opportunities.

Likes

The campus is filled with greenery with enormous space to relax and study. The canteen is affordable with variety of food items. The girl to boy ratio is about 4:6.
The sports facilities are upto date now with renovated basketball and badminton court. It also has an indoor games room and a gym. The sports are very competitive with annual department competitions.
The curriculum is very detailed and provides all the knowledge needed for master's degree as well as research purposes

Dislikes

The class schedules are hectic at times.
The fests are good but sometimes organised after long gaps.
The laboratory equipments are less in number as per the strength of the students.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the last year for placement and there is dedicated placement cell called 'pinnacle' but it offers good placement in commerce courses but very less number in science courses and definitely neglible in chemistry as students generally tend to opt for a master's degree for better opportunities in industries as well as exams such as GATE. The package ranges from 3 to 4 lakhs. There are no specifics for the company names as the data is not continuous. My plan is also to opto for a master's degree.
