Faculty,our college faculty was very good ,all teacher are very supportive. encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

Briefing about Shaheed Bhagat Singh College

Likes

Regular seminars, fests, trips are organised occasionally and informative sessions are being given to students.
A room has been provided for girls as a Girls common room which helps the girls to rest during their periods.
Classes are regularly conducted and course syllabus has been taught sincerely with other external knowledge and teachers experiences.

Dislikes

The campus becomes overcrowded on the working days and canteen space is too small for these many students.
Washrooms are not available for girls in all blocks.
Water facilities sometimes is not up to the mark as filters are available but sometimes water is not there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very interesting and I had my personal interest to explore this subject. The faculty is well skilled, qualified, and friendly. Most of the professors are qualified with PhD degrees. Trips are organised occasionally to enhance students knowledge. Exams are held as per the academic calendar provided by University. Exams are quite easy to qualify as notes and study material are provided earlier.

Likes

It has a good infrastructure and well maintained labs
College has especially designed a girl's common room where girls can rest in periods or in normal days
Faculty are highly qualified and very cooperative with students

Dislikes

At a times college becomes too crowdy and rushed
Most of the time drinking water is not available
For girls washroom are not available in most of the blocks

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very vast and interdisciplinary it has a relationship with almost all other subjects and is very informative. The faculty is highly qualified most of them have Ph.D. degrees, and are skilled, supportive, and caring. The ratio of students is quite compatible. Exams are held on a timely basis and according to the academic calendar released by the university. Notes, study material, and guidance are provided timely hence exams are easy to tackle.

Geography honors is one of the best courses at present time which has a lot of scope in upcoming years. Sbsc has a renowned faculty and is very cooperative. Every 6 months semester exams are held which has difficulty level from moderate to hard.

My own thoughts regarding the campus

Likes

Most valuable thing that i liked was the placement policy and the faculty of our college
The infrastructure was also good as there are various blocks and a very big playground we have .
There was different kinds of so many societies related to everything like dancing, singing, fashion, study related, and many more.

Dislikes

I find our canteen prices a bit expensive.It was not there earlier but now it has become so. According to me, the college canteen should be such where every student can afford everything.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides the best placement opportunities. Best companies like Deloitte, and KPMG come with an average package of around 5 lakhs plus some more perks. If students want to sit in the placement he/she has to become eligible because only those students are able to sit who maintain their cgpa above than 6. Only after completion of 2 years i.e. only 5 semesters, students are eligible for sitting in the placement. The highest package was going around 10 lakhs. If I get selected by some company then it will be a great opportunity for me otherwise I will go for further higher studies.

I liked canteen of our college most because every food items are available on affordable rate.
I liked ground of our college it's a big many activities would performed in one time
Library of our college is also good all books are available and also environment is good

I feel problem with college office of fee counter and the counter handling Bcom
Not a single lift is in aur college and also classroom are without ac.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did my intermediate in commerce and I'm good at commerce. DU is famous for its commerce and arts courses and my college is for commerce it's called src of South campus. After completing Bcom I got more chances of placement and also I developed myself and got exposure. In the commerce faculty, there are 10+ professor and professor are good and supportive, and the ratio of boys and girls are 5:4. All professors are well-qualified someone is doing a Ph.D. in teaching and everyone has their teaching style and communicates with every student. We have to take the final exam at the end of the semester and it is quite tough and we have many class tests and before the exam, we have to take an internal exam which is of 10 marks.

Rent of pgs near to college for out of state students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is a bit less active but enough to let us know updates about the companies. Companies like KPMG, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs are prominent companies that visit the college. Eligibility is after you pass your 4th-semester exams. The highest package of our college ever was 22 lpa and the average is 4-5 lpa. Almost 60% of Commerce, Economics and English department students get placed.

Exploring life with college

Overall college environment was so cool whole year .Teachers ask us for extra curricular activities
Faculty,Our college faculty was very Good ,all teacher are very supportive. Encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
College's different society like NSS ,NCC ,DRAMA ,DANCE Etc.

Dislikes

Canteen :As sometime tender of canteen was very good and some time very cheap quality food
Facilities ,in the evening time we always faced challenge of drinking water availability
Internet facility is available but with very poor connection and even don't provides student their user ID and password

Placement Experience:

As it's BA in our department no such placement but in the B.com department 3rd yr. Students used to give interviews and juniors prepared all the things with teachers. About companies, I say about 40 to 50 companies each time came at different times and the college claimed their highest package of 25lpa. And companies like Byjus, Young India, Young Global, etc. Comes. Students may have criteria of Division like 1st division. Almost all students get placement offer letters but with less salary being paid students do not act on that letter. As I have done my BA and I fixed my goal of doing preparation for civil services.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colle- Mecca for Commerce.

First and foremost is our placement cell . They work very hard to bring almost 40-50 companies to our college for placement.
Faculty is best in our college . They are very engaging and practical and know how to deal with students.
Our ground is very huge that like almost whole of the college students can be accomadated in it.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is slightly on a bad side. Classrooms are little filthy.
67 percent attendance is mandatory which is not good.
Principal is really very strict. He is very concerned about studies.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for placements. Various companies come into our college including BIG 4 in accounting i.e. Deloitte, KPMG, ey, and PWC. All 4 of them take almost 50-60 students each and also offer rich packages. The highest package is 23 LPA offered by DE SHAW and almost 80% students get placed. I am also being placed in RSM US company with a package of 5 LPA.

Likes

Location of the college, the facilities offered in the campus and slew of co curricular activities organised
The political atmosphere also encourages students to become better citizens and become part of a democratic process
I liked the faculty as well as they paid dedicated attention to students

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure such as an auditorium is one issue that I faced
There was no participation in MUN's. However there was a dedicated debate society.
The party culture at the campus is something i despised

Placement Experience:

Campus placements take place in the 4th semester. Big 4 companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, and EY visit the campus followed by companies like BAIN, Grand Thorton etc. 95% of students get placed in the process especially the students from the commerce stream.

One of the best colleges for commerce students.
A lot of societies in the college and all of them are quite active

Dislikes

No fests are conducted in the college since past 2-3 years
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio

The college has a very active placement cell. The students can get placements in various companies even Big 4's. The percentage of students getting placed is quite low and even the average package is quite low.
