The best thing in my college is Socities.We can join according to our interest
Sri Venkateswara collge Provides a good environment for Sports especially for Cricket and the environment in the College is very Pleasant when compared to Delhi pollution
When coming about education,we have a experienced Professors who shares a good knowledge from their excellence

Dislikes

The things I disliked of my college is, it is over crowdy and the food and canteen facillities was not good and not well maintained
And coming to College Politics ,it all runs by caste and regions like north south .they I'll show a clear difference about the region this is the main thing I disliked Staff was good I'm talking about the students
Coming to facilities of my college was Auditorium was not in a good condition and still it is in renovation .But the library Facillities was too good to study .But the Rooms where classes happens were too conjusted these are the things that don't lik

Placement Experience:

For Placements 5th semester students were eligible .They will attend for the interviews in college itself,but they will join the job after the completion of 6th semester who got selected in the interviews.I don't have particular idea about the No.of offers made but nearly 80 companies were offered the jobs like Deloitte ,KPMG etc...The highest package of my college was nearly 22 lakhs per annum which got in 2022.and the avarage package was nearly 4lakhs per annum .I don't have idea about the percentage of the students who got job in campus placements.My plans were recently I enrolled in PG ,And I will preapare for my future Competitive exams

Our college has a soothing environment with parks which are our go to place during breaks
Library of our college is well maintained. There is a proper reading space for students .
Our college canteen food is quite good compared to other colleges

Dislikes

There is a language barrier as most of the teachers are from south and doesn't know Hindi

In 2023 placement season highest salary package of our college was 21 lpa and average package was 5.3 lpa . Top recruiters were big 4 companies (Deloitte,kpmg, Pwc , Ey) around 60 percent of the eligible students secured placement during recruitment drive .

Likes

The professors we have are very good. They teach in depth.
I like the greenery of the campus. It is a great place for dog lovers.
The college societies are good. I loved being a part of Wdc, empathise and debsoc.

Dislikes

The admin is not very helping and you've to run after them for work
The main building is inaccessible for disabled people due to absence of elevator and ramps

Placement Experience:

The placement cell works well. I didn't want to do a job after Bachelor's so I didn't sit for placements. My batchmates who were interested were placed in ecom express, deloitte and so on. They guide you with cv, interview in the last semester.

Teachers are very helpful in every situation not only in academics in other problems also
The structure and buliding of the college is good
Helpful nature of the students and coordinators

Dislikes

Outside college a swege is there that create problems for students
Some times management didn't work properly

College placement is good a decent one students from last year are eligible and minimum eligibilty above 50% till last exam and no back logs. Companies came for placement - PWC, Deloitte, Bajaj capital, Aditya Birla, Make my trip, KPMG, KPMG India, deltax, internshala, code vyasa, surveysparrow, Exl service, GT, etc. Highest package 21 Lpa CTC Lowest packege 4 Lpa Around 60% of students get there placements. My plan is to do MBA after degree

Sri Venkateshwar college: Why not to choose

Likes

Infrastructure is good among the nearby DU colleges
As far as administration is considered it could be better
Faculty are reachable and helpful , they always ready for help

Dislikes

Administration sucks , poor management and Governance

Campus placement starts after their 3rd semester Various companies visit campus Very few students got placement like 15-20% Plans after getting degree are further continuing studies tried for masters in the same course in academic

Exploring excellence! My Venky experience.

Likes

I liked the cosmopolitan environment of the college which allowed me to meet new people from all across the country.
I like the theory + practical based curriculum which allowed for a holistic learning experience with my fellow peers.
I like the co-curricular & extra-curricular acrivities within college leading to an unforgettable expirience apart from the academics.

Dislikes

I disliked the harsh attitude of the administration which cause nuisance & refuse help in academic as well as non-academic problems of students.
I dislike the hooliganism & degeneracy of some of the people in college which creates an unsafe aura in many Delhi colleges.
I dislike the lack of placement oppurtunities offeres in college.

Placement Experience:

The placements of Venkateswara college are sub-par and barely offer any doable roles to majority of the students. Students can sit for placements in the 5th & 6th semesters, however a majority of the students dont opt for placements and choose higher studies courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good from the perspective of commerce students and it can help you to learn different new concepts related to your field.The curriculum really prepared for the real-world if one wants to pursue different professional courses and what is the drawback is that more practical subjects can be included in the curriculum.The exams are held every 4 month of the sem and the difficulty level is moderate and once can easily score well by studying hard.

Everything you need to know about SVC

Likes

The college campus is beautiful and a very nice place to hang out. The vibe is amazing and people are also good.
The facilities are appropriate for all the courses. In my course the labs are addons and they are pretty good with all the requirements fulfilled.
The academic culture is good and along with it, the societies are really good and there are several societies including departmental, cultural, finance etc. so everyone can find one according to their interests.

Dislikes

The elections which takes place once a year but creates a lot of mess around the college campus. I personally don't like the campaign letters being spread all over the campus.
I don't have a lot of dislikes but there is a sewer problem which is temporary but still it can be resolved as it affects the morning mood.
Almost all the professors are from my department but sometimes they are being appointed outside the department for extra courses which can be a problem but it's not a major one and one can deal with it easily.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good considering it is a non-technical institute and the placement cell is very active. Students from 1st semester can apply for internships which comes on regular basis so there are olenty of opportunities for internships. A lot of my friends are doing internships in big companies (like EY, KPMG etc.) For the placements, the students gets eligible after the fourth semester and all the placements are handled by placement cell. You have to provide your information like contact information, resume and gpa as the basic information for sitting in placements. Tier - 1,2 and 3 companies visit college campus including the big four The highest package offered was around 21 lpa and the average package is around 6 lakhs. For statistics, a lot of alumnis sre doing great. For an instance, one day an alumni visited us and she did her master's from Harvard and was placed at Microsoft. I personally don't want to do jobs in corporate so I am focusing on my music career

Sri venkateshwara college review

Likes

Infrastructure and teachers are really good and the quality of education is also really good
U get to interact with a diversity of students that makes ur experience a bit more intresting
Canteen is also really good and u get a variety of food

Dislikes

There should be air conditioners in the classrooms
There are street dogs roaming around in campus so that should be taken care of
Classes should be equiped with smart boards

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I opted was not that relevant in terms of real life experience. But courses like physics hons biology zoology and economics hons are great and provide you enough knowledge to get a solid stand in real life experience

Crowd is good. Sri Venkateswara College is renowned for its strong academic programs, particularly in the sciences, commerce, and humanities. It boasts experienced faculty and well-structured courses, contribution with same mindset.
Teacher's are friendly. Ready to help in academics.The campus is also known for its green and serene environment, providing a conducive atmosphere for learning and personal growth.Science laboratories have good facilities
. campus is full of greenery. It has botanical garden, Rock garden, open garden infront of college that is square

Dislikes

All rooms are not AC . Only AC is installed in few places
Canteen food is okay not that good. But yeah it is not pricey
Hostel facilities have very critical criteria to opt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are some sessions that are held to emphasise of these relevance and comprehensiveness of the course but you don't find them that impactful. Speakers , alum were called for the interactive session to help students in future descisions.

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.
Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.
Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.
Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.
Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.
Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
