Good for academic only not for extracurricular activities

Remarks:

Some department need to focus more on practical knowledge rather then score in the exam.and only academic is not everything thing ,social activities should also be promoted .bit if your main focus is to excel in academics and go for higher studies then the environment is very nice and encouraging.

One of the best colleges in South Campus

Remarks:

Overall the college is good with learning and lots of activities to do and places to hang out in and around the campus. It has mixed crowd and provides an opportunity to interact with minds from all over India.

Yes, it doesn't have a fashion society which is really sad as alot of students wanted to pursue modelling as a career, however they aren't given an opportunity for that in this particular college of Delhi University.

Saint Stephen's of the south campus.

Remarks:

The college needs to give support for students in activities like sports.These years,students are performing very well in academics.some even topped the university.so they should be encouraged.If possible,the number of seats in college hostel should be increased,as students may face problem in accommodation.

True and Real Review

Admission:

Sri Venkateswara College is one of the best colleges in the south campus in Delhi University. First of all, I filled a registration for Delhi university on 13th June 2019. Then the cut-offs come in August I came in Sri Venketesvara College maths Hons Cut off in. 5th cut off. Then I reached College with all the necessary documents mentioned on DU official website on 23 August at 10:00 Am and after paperwork, I got admission after paying the fee of 13000 within 24hrs. Thus I became a Venky student.

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.
Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.
Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.
Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.
Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.
Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
