The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

Give it a try if you want your college life to be fun and memorable

The arena of the college campus is great also the facilities and teachers are good and really helpful ..the co curricular activities are helpful to get along with new people and develop your skills
You've scope to follow your passion as they really puch you forward for it and supports you as well

Dislikes

It all depends on your fate and destiny that whom you're gonna end up with....some people are just like angels from heaven great seniors but some are just thorns in the roses ... beware of those
Other than that in my course especially there is so much to do practical file assignments that is so much hectic you've to deal with ...a friendly advise that do not procrastinate for your work that will cost you a lot during the practical exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The combination of all the major subjects i.e. chemistry zoology and botany really fascinated me to choose this course ...the vast exposure to all the three subjects opens so many options for me in the future ...the fusion of chemistry zoology and botany is what really influenced me to choose this course ..although due to the fact that our session was already late (started in November) the duration of our semester was around 4 months which was a short time to cover the full syllabus of practical as well as theory but the paper was moderately difficult to easy if the student has taken the classes regularly then he/she will be easily able to get a high cgpa...it's all about consistency

I admire my teachers for the valid reasons there expertise in subject matters there dedication to teaching there ability to doubt solving problem they go above and beyond to help there student as my personal experience teachers at Zakir Hussain are.
In addition with academic Zakir Hussain offeres a variety of extracurricular activities including sports ,cultural events, societies and many other things there placement opportunity cell is also a gains on experience as you’ll get internships offer
Campus is very big and new building was also building and soon going to start with students from diverse cultures Zakir Hussain fosters a rich community and culture and is true example of secularism and unity I would recommend this college to everyo

Dislikes

Its location probably because i live in south Delhi so its too much far so like i have to go its nearest metro which is New Delhi and Delhi gate than you have to take rikshaw which will cost you 10 rupees than your going to reach there after traffic
Classroom doesn’t have prover ventilation system so like in summers it’s really very difficult for us to attend the class as summers here in Delhi is unbearable and so yeah they should have the proper Aircondition and fans working as they are not
Fest are not big they are usually at get basic level so like this if you’ll go to north campus or any college you’re going to have a massive at very grand level fest but this college didn’t have that much of fun in terms of feats and party they hardl

So the course and the curriculum is very relevant in terms of relevancy sthey teaches us the best way possible and it's true ku appreciable the way they teaches and also like my course which if life science it's not at all difficult it's very moderate and can be done very easily

Life At DU

Likes

They took the laboratory experience and learning to a whole new level. They make you to completely indulge in the studies
The societies available in your Department and outside the department too helps you to explore your other selves

Dislikes

The infrastructure has now become quite old and there is a high need for the opening of new constructed building
The area hai now really became so crowded and the most felt drawback was the off campus location of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum around the science subjects would definitely prepare you best for the futher Masters degree. They try their best to relsove all you flaws from the depth. If you are able to make good links with teachers they tend to guide you to in every aspect possible. If you are planning for chemistry the college is one of the best in entire Delhi university.

The campus life is very good cause I obtained the friends that I want in my life
Faculty is also good. There is no any badness in faculty
Our college also provide placement of all courses.

Dislikes

I dislike the structure of college because the outsiders homes are visible from college there is no boundary.
I also dislike the canteen because there is sometime the fans does not working.
The new building because they cant open from many years like 5 years.

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided by our college for each and every course . The student may eligible for the placement in last year. the average package of the placement is between 500000- 800000. My plane is as as researcher.

ZHDC-First campus of DU

Atmosphere , exposure to various things , different societies
It has the best building among all the campus of delhi university with a awesome faculty
My college is the oldest campus of delhi university and offers varities of course

Dislikes

Some time there are lot's of politics which leads to flights in college often
There are houses of people that have windows facing our college which doesn't look good
Old building needs reparing else everything is fantastic

This course includes physics chemistry and maths as their major subjects with four optional subjects, which helps to gain knowledge from various courses which helps us for future. Exams are of moderate difficulty and are of 2 hours mostly, some are of 3 hours

Likes

Auditorium of our college is one the best I have seen till now.
Teachers are very friendly and this creates a good arena for students to embrace themselves.
Cultural diversity is also seen which helps to co operate amongst each other and helps in learning new about different cultures.

Dislikes

Canteen area of the College is too messy and I also don't like the food which is being served.
Ground is also too small comparatively to other colleges of Delhi University

I have English+Political Science and I am very deeply interested in political science assignment this provides insight of present, past and future which will help ourselves to engage with society and through this subject I want to learn new initiatives to improve society for its betterment

Life in Zakir Hussain Delhi College

Likes

I liked the faculty of the college because they
Recently the college funded a lot of money to make a play andha yug for which students worked day and night to make it a successful event

Dislikes

The classrooms are very old and are not at all furnished and everything is old actually very old and nobody is repairing it or taking responsibility of it

I was very interested in literature and what inspired me the most was the professors are genuinely passionate about teaching the subjects and they don't just teach it for the sake of it rather they teach it with reasearch, essays, readings, refrences and most importantly with passion

People from all over India so it helps in knowing about more and more culture

Course Curriculum Overview:

A specific curriculum that influenced me a lot was studying International Relations as it broadened my mind in many aspects such as understanding the other side of history. The curriculum is very practical and when you go out in real world after competition it you can view the world from a different angle The only improvement needed there is if a little bit more about our constitution and Law can be added. Exams are held twice a year with moderate to difficult level but they enjoyable too.

The library had a exclusive collection of book , with very good infrastructure.
Faculties had expertise in their domain.

extra curricular activities are not given much attention.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for B.A Hons Poltical Science, however belonging to the covid batch, there wasnt much input or importance given. It is a very theoretical course, unfourntunateky couldnt get the level of imporatance it required. The curriculum is theoretical provides a basis in subjective domain and has a very competitive background.

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.

In today’s world, online education may be difficult, but they have adapted successfully. They are also excellent with offline material. The courses cover everything in detail and prepare students to take on real-world issues in the workplace. Exams during the semester are neither very difficult nor difficult. Students can pass with ease if they are properly prepared and have studied.
