The fees structure of delhi university is very simple we have to pay fees semester wise and delhi university fees is also very low .so that's the part i really liked about delhi university .yes delhi university provides scholarship also.
They are very well experienced and most are phd holders, even the guest lecturers are so talented and inspiring and have a way to handle the students.
Last but not the least i liked the infrastructure too..the new building is just awesome. it is the best building among all the colleges.

Dislikes

The benches in the classroom is bad. the white board is also not good
The entrance exam was good but the normalisation process was very disappointed which was for no reason and the biggest game player was obviously the reservation quota(sc/st/obc).
Some teachers are very bad in teaching and they does not focus on student

Campus environment and teachers was very cooperative

Placement Experience:

From 5 semester students can become eligible for placement Lost of companies Highest iupto 12lpa and average 5 lpa . and other placement with central university campus.get job and join job . And go forward

Is life is happening at ZHDC or not?

Likes

Campus life and labs which were provided to us.
Supportive and knowledgeable faculties of our college.
Cultural fest of different departments, fests.

Dislikes

Placements were not that nice and not so opportunity.
Fests were not that happening and engaging.
Our college didn't had play ground, or any other sports room.

Placement Experience:

Our college doesn't have that good placements records or stats but they do have dedicated team for placements . Our college used to conduct job fair in the month of Feb of every year for the students of all departments.

Know the right choice.

Likes

Canteen area and the crowed around it is very good and fun.
The dest and the religious beliefs around the campus.
The college faculty and the behaviour of teachers are so good.

Dislikes

The unavailability of teachers for course
Lack of gaming material for students and the curriculum.
Poor infrastructure of college campus and nothing much to do in the college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(H) political science, because I was from a arts background so this was the best course I can have, and I really want to pursue for civil services so I really want to get enrolled in this course. The course prepares us for the real world because whatever we study in this course or learn it comes from the past incident which makes us to understand the all problems and the way to tackle those problems. The course itself is very good but because of the NEP we have some additional course (sec/vac/aec). Which is for no reason.

Likes

College is quite good and the new building is even better than many colleges of north campus
Faculty of this college is very helpful and supportive in personal and academic problems as well.
placement is an asoect that is covered by the placement cell of college which helps student in different ways such as seminar, interviews, meetings, etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that the new building of the college is still not in use.
The locality near the college is not well settled, and are very unhygeinic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is enough relevant for the person who would like pursue further and want to do research, this course goes through a wide range of subjects which are helpfull for the future courses and the variety of these courses helps us in diving an ocean of subjects, this course has a wide and bright future.

An insight into Zakir Hussain Delhi College

Likes

The facility of Zakir Hussain Delhi College for my course is very good.
The history of Zakir Hussain Delhi College is very prominent and also oldest in whole Delhi University.
The canteen and the food which they serve is good.

Dislikes

The environment is not too good not too bad.
The students from other regions disturb the peace of college.
Student politics ruins the environment of the college at the time of election.

My course is Bachelor of Arts in History from Delhi University which is considered to be very good frok the perspective of becoming a civil servant in future as it will help me with my future syllabus and also I have an past intrest in this particular subject very much from my childhood.

I like the crowd at Zakir Hussain Delhi College. People come from different areas of the country and its good to have them as a friend
I like the sports and staff of Zakir Hussain Delhi College
I like the hygiene and availability of mother dairy at college

Dislikes

I don't like the maintenance of the college 😕 such a poor infrastructure
I don't like the society near our college.. it's aggressive
I don't like the classrooms some classes have poor furniture

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course which I got i.e Bsc(prog) physical science with chemistry is a really great course in which you have three core subjects and all of them are PCM i.e you will learn physics, chemistry and maths and you can do major in any of these subjects. The exam timings of this course is maximum 2-3 hours with a moderate difficulty level.

Likes

I liked the natur and the teaching skills of all faculty .
I like different type of society exist in college which is very important for student personality development.
I like the campus and new building of zhdc

Dislikes

The facility of the sport is not too good
The washroom of zhdc is not good and very small
The entry system of the college is not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of bcom hons is same as ca course and I opt ca so I decide to pursue bcom hons from Delhi University The duration of exam of core paper is 3 hours and it is sufficient for solve all questions.

Likes

Our college has ground not so much big .
Some faculty are very friendly and they will help you.
I got friends without them it will be impossible to survive in college.

Dislikes

I hate the ongoing politics in the college.
Some faculty is not good and they are biased.
I don't like the campus of my college. Campus is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course 5 out of 10. I chose this course as a backup because I didn't got Pol Science Hons due to which I chose this course. That is why I chose this. Faculty is not good. But you will get good faculty in 3rd year.

ZAKIR HUSAIN DELHI COLLEGE - It could be as good as any college for you.

Likes

People around the campus who were friendly
Clubs and Societies where everyone was welcomed
Faculty who knew what they were teaching and were extremely cooperative and understanding

Dislikes

There was no placement assistance, not that I expected one but even for courses that have skill based value there was no placement support
Classes were infrequent and there were disruptions at times that would lead to classes being cancelled
The campus space may not have been all inclusive at times and effort needs to be made to make it such that everyone feels welcome

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well structured and comprehensive of the knowledge that would help students cultivate a profound understanding of the subjects, The teachers were well equipped with the pedagogic methods that made learning all the more easy, there could be improvements in the frequency of the classes but apart from it it was fine.

Zakir Husain Delhi College B.COM (Hons.) Review

Likes

The faculties of ZHDC is awesome and teachers are very supportive
ZHDC infrastructure is best among all DU colleges.
College Canteen is awesome and rates are very pocket friendly for all students.

Dislikes

There are not well maintained classroom.
Playground of ZHDC is very small and not so nice.
Drinking Water facilities are not good in college campus.

Placement Experience:

There is a well developed placement cell in ZHDC which gives 3rd year students many placement opportunities. Some companies are Delloite , HCL , TechMahindra , etc. Last year highest package was 720000 LPA and average was around 320000 LPA.

As much as I could gather information about Zakir Husain Delhi College DU from some of my friends, everyone gives almost similar responses and reviews about the college.

In terms of infrastructure, the college has a chance to compete with the prestigious and leading colleges out there. The campus includes Wi-Fi, a magnificent green space, inspiring classrooms, elevators for those with disabilities, a canteen with an affordable menu, a mother dairy, and practice-friendly labs.

The professors are incredibly helpful for both personal and professional matters.

In today’s world, online education may be difficult, but they have adapted successfully. They are also excellent with offline material. The courses cover everything in detail and prepare students to take on real-world issues in the workplace. Exams during the semester are neither very difficult nor difficult. Students can pass with ease if they are properly prepared and have studied.
