Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for the placement. Many companies visited some of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Nutanix, LTI, TCS, CTS, and many. Nutanix has given CTC of 29 LPA, and amazon of internship stipend of 80000.

I want to choose between cse or it as I was not getting cse and it in iem hit then I choose techno. The faculty is yet to explore. In orientation class, the teacher has their name in dr something, then I hope the faculty should be good. I m in "corona kaal" , got admission in sep, don't know when our semester exam will be done, the teacher said nothing till now, our class started on 6 Sep (they were just taking a class of 11-12 revision), even if someone was not attending it would be fine. The main class will be done in few days

I hope before 6th sem, companies start to come into our college for placements and TMSL holds most of the placement counselling for other Techno Colleges too so TMSL gets a priority. No idea about the % as of now as i am just a new second year student. My first plan after degree is to get into a MCA college. Without that Bca has almost no value.

The student becomes eligible in placements from the third year of their college. The main hiring companies include TCS, Wipro and Infosys. But if someone has potential they could to their startups in marketing or any other field. The mass recruiting companies include TCS and Wipro. Generally, about 26 companies visit this college and the highest offer goes around 3. The highest package on campus is around 12-14 lakhs the average package is around 4-5 lakhs per annum. About 90% of students from the CSE and IT department gets placed every year. But in Civil, mechanical, Electrical about 40-50% students get placed. After getting the degree I am interested to do M Tech in AI in some of the finest colleges like IITs or NITs for which my gate score should be very high.

Students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester only. Approximately 50-60 companies visit our college . Pakage offered are around 5-6 lakhs per annum mostly and average package is also 5 laks only . Highest package this year was 12 lakhs and placement is still going on. In CSE department there is 100% placement with average package around 5 lakhs .

It was good actually and we have to study thoroughly all the subjects and follow the guidance of our teachers, then it will be easier for anyone to clear any paper. We need to be attentive throughout the class and the faculty is just amazing and clears each and every doubt of the students and makes us understand everything easily.

In the final year that is in the 7th semester for Btech and in the 5th semester for non-tech students, several companies start visiting to college and recruit students. From the month of August to march maximum of the students get placed.. Tycoon companies like Microsoft, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Deloitte recruit students in bulk.. With an average CTC of 3-8 lakhs per annum. Almost 95% of students get placed who have performed average in academics. But exceptions are everywhere, some students don't study and blame college for their failures

Almost 80% of the students get places tcs, wipro are the mass recruiters and also companies like byjus, amazon, Microsoft come here for placement and offer 9lpa package. The average CTC is 5to 7 LPA. The number of core companies are low.

One thing is for sure, that if you are from CSE and IT, and you are at least interested in academics, you will get at least a 3.5 LPA job. Apart from that, more than 50 companies visit our college and I think that is more than enough. Most of the companies come for 5-6 LPA and almost every student of CS/IT student get at least a job of 5 LPA. Some companies with the CTC in LPA(roughly for some companies) that visit our college are:-TCS(3.5), TCS DIGITAL(7), PERSISTENT(3 packages 4.7, 7.4, 9), Microsoft( Technical support role 15+ CTC), Cognizant(two package-6.7, 4.5), Virtusa(4.5, 6lpa), Informatica(11 LPA), Cerner(6 LPA), Deloitte(not came yet), Thoughtworks(8+ LPA), Odessa(5.5 LPA), LTI(3 package -4,6,8). These are the companies already came yet and many more companies that I don't remember and also many more to come. so you can expect 20-25 companies with around 6lpa and you are even a little bit good in coding, you will crack them easily.

From 3rd year, students become eligible for campus placements. About 80-90% of the students from ECE got placed during their course. the highest salary package offered by Thought works(8.33 LPA), Persistent(7.5-9 LPA), TCS digital(7 LPA). The average salary package is 5-7 LPA. Lowest Salary package: 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies: TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, PERSISTENT, ACCOLITE, EY GDS, BYJUS, DELOITTE, VIRTUSA, WIPRO, NAGARRO, Goldman Sachs, Juspay, Thought works etc. Some companies offer internship+ full time to freshers. I recently got placed in Persistent, so I would like to go with IT industries after getting the degree.
