Shyam Lal College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I am from a Commerce background and there aren't many options available. I didn't want to get into Law and BBA has a narrow scope. So I opted for B.com (p). I would have taken B.com(Hons) but DU eligibility criteria say that you must have maths in your 12th for that. Faculties are good and supportive.

Right now I'm a fresher so I don't know much about the placement and all. Our college provides placement to third-year students. My plan after the degree is to go to the legal field such as law and legal.

Actually, I'm in 1st year so I don't know more about placements but as I interact with my seniors and alumni also said that the placement of our college is too good and there is starting package of placement is 5,00,000-7,00,000 per annum.

Generally, Students here do not opt for on-campus placement they opt for higher studies. But in general, if someone opts for on-campus placement then in BCOM Prog average package here is around 3-4 lakhs and in general 60-70% of students get placed. My plan after completing the degree is to pursue MBA from a good IIM college.

Students generally here dont opt for placements after bachelors degree. Mostly students studying here opt for further studies to get much better package. But generally average package here is 3 lakh approx for a bcom program graduate student. 80% Of students who opt for placements here gets placed. My Plan is also to opt for further studies rather than getting placed just after bachelor degree

From the 4th semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like HCL Genpact visited our college and they made 7 offers. The highest package of 3 lakh and average package of 2 lakh offered by the companies. Around 30% of students got the placement. I want to do a job in an MNC company after getting my degree.

Always 3rd-year students and 4 to 5th 6th-year students are eligible for internships and placements they are numerous companies like TCS HCL Nescafe etc on higher positions. Getting this degree is a master's in commerce and after that, we have to plan to open all about the goal or that's all about the target.

Due to COVID, admissions were late so semester 1 exams were just 2 months after admission. 1st and 3rd-semester exams were OBE(Open Book Examination) so they were quite easy but due to the huge COVID wave in May 2021, 2nd sem exam got canceled and we were passed.

Most of the students of this course don't enroll themselves for the placements as they want to study further. The students who sit in the campus placement interviews generally bags the job. The average package for a B.com pass graduate is 4Lpa.
