Placement opportunities are good in our colleges some of the big brands like Byjus is one of the company. College also provides various internship opportunities to students. The average salary package is 1.80 LPA - 5 LPA

BSC does not have a number of placements as this is not a proper degree like MSc and BTech and many others. But courses like statistics and cs offer many placements to students studying in colleges. Companies hire students directly after seeing their skills and overall character and behavior.

Maths was my all-time favourite subject so as a maths freak I wanted to opt for BSC (Hons) Maths. The faculty of mathematics at Shyamal College is outstanding except for some. The faculty members are very helpful and kind. Almost every professor have a great past experience of teaching. In Delhi university colleges exams held two times in a year known as semester exam. Every semester exams include internal + practical + project work. Although it is not too hard to pass the exam. The level of the exam is average.

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. No information regarding companies because this will be the first time for our department. I will be pursuing MBA after my graduation from Delhi only, it can be from FMS, DTU, DU, IIT, etc.

There are no campus placements as much as I know, not in my course for sure , as this college offers only educational courses that are not professional. Students here mostly prepare for the government exams or for the higher studies, there is a big scope of politics for the students who are interested in them. My plan after this degree is to take admission in MCA from a good college and University maybe from any NIT(via NIMCET exam) if I got.

After last year of graduation, the students are eligible for placement Name of the companies that came to our companies for placements are Muthoot Finance, Finserve , Tata ,etc. The highest package offered to a b.com student is around 3 lacs per annum. And the average is around 2 lacs. More than 19 percents of students got placed in our college My plans after graduation is to do an MBA

As not so known college of Delhi University, placement cell is little weaker compared to other colleges, but you can get some job opportunity of your score is excellent and performance during your academic period is quite nice. But if somehow any student participate in several competition and society work stuffs, there will be always a bonus in your job profile. In today world, skills and experience matter more than your percentage and score and if any student try hard to gets more developed skills, there will be always a benefit your successful start as a fresher.

I am a student of BSc Mathematics Hons. Because I like math most of all subjects. So it is very easy for me to choose my subject. There are 7 teachers in my class and 48 students. The number of students changes some times due to the Admission process but now it's good. Teachers are well educated and helpful to all of us. Exams were on monthly basis by teachers but the official exams are on a gap of 5-6 months and it completes a semester. You can say that paper is 70% - 75% out of 100 in difficulty level.

There are 5 to 10 companies that come to the college for placement but I don't like anyone because no one is offering good salary packages. Some company also come to take students for an internship but still, they don't pay anyone so no one goes to those companies. Placement of the college is not so good. College placement cell try lots of effort but it is not successful to attract good companies in the college

Students became eligible for placements after the second year of college (sem IV). First of all, a short interview is conducted by the Placement cell unit and the selected children move forward for the next round. A very less no. of children get placed every year about 10-15 students and the packages depend on the chosen field and company.
