From 1st year only students become eligible for campus placement. Though they won't get higher packages . In their third year, they may get packages upto 20 lacs.
We have a placement cell in our College that brings more than 30 companies every year and they select skilled and creative students.
3rd years are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are Fincart, Larsen & Toubro, Digiversal & many good companies. The maximum package is 6.5 lakhs & minimum 2 lakhs they are providing. I am planning to pursue MBA further as now I am preparing for CAT so that I can convert it into a good B School.
Several renowned companies come for placement and internship opportunities. Most of them are for accounting and auditing positions. As much as 60-70% of the students get placed. The average package is somewhere around 6 LPA.
Placement is good enough in our college. From second year students become eligible for placements. Plans after the degree are doing job in high standard institutions. Around 40% of students get placements in a year.
Students of b.com (hons&progrmame) and b.a Hons( economics) are more likely to sit for placement interviews. Generally, a lot of companies come to give away a lot of opportunities. The highest salary varies from year to year. The average salary is somewhere between 4lpa to 6 LPA generally. Some students also pursue professional courses alongside.
I will be sitting for the entrance exams for pursuing a postgraduate degree from a decent government college. My friends though have either been placed or will be pursuing PG in various disciplines or will be going for CA since we have majored in commerce.
The placement of the college is good. A variety of companies come to offer pre placements to 3rd year students. Some companies like Deloitte, EY visit every time and provide a good no of placements.
The profiles offered are consultancy, sales and marketing, education etc.
History was my interest since class 8, thus I chose this honors paper.
Not sure however it isn't crowded here you can interact with them. However, some of them might be really hostile towards the students at some given time.
DRC has a placement cell and you can find decent placement if you are serious enough. A lot of places are open for students from all years and programs. Companies offering part-time jobs come as well.
- Students from arts backgrounds mostly go for higher studies and some for competitive examinations.
- However, there is an active placement cell in our college through which art students can apply for internships which will eventually help us grow our skills. Some even get good placements.
- The highest package of last year's art students was 7 lacs per annum.
