In the field of history, we don't get many placement opportunities just after graduation. You have to at least do a master's in history for a decent job in the field. Most students opt for giving UPSC exams and join civil services After graduating. After my degree, I am going to change my field to psychology and do my master's degree in psychology.

The placement percentage of the college is around 94%. The average salary package offered for freshers is 1.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered can be up to 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA. All interested students get internships in various research laboratories, diagnostic companies, food and water industries and also in various biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Some of the top recruiting companies include Medreich, Indoco, BCIL, Suraksha Diagnostic, Lal Pathlabs, various CSIR and DBT research institutes all over India, Biocon, etc. Top roles are mostly offered in the research and development wing of industries and PhD supervisor, principal investigator, quality control, clinical analysis, etc.

The college placements are modest. COMPANIES VISITING: Several companies such as Wipro, EY, Byjus's, TresVista, Chegg, Teach for India, GDS, Delloitte, USI, Decathlon, Vedantu and many more turn up to recruit the students, for various fields such as sales & marketing, finance, consultancy, education etc. ELIGIBILITY: Campus placements happen for the students of the third year only. This year 60+ students got their offer letters. PACKAGES: Packages (as of 2020-21 statistics) are as follows: Gross package: 3.25 crores, Average package: 4.9 LPA, Highest package: 19.25 LPA, Though the efforts of the Placement Cell, which worked diligently despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, are appreciable, the packages are not satisfactory, and too low in comparison with the fellow colleges.

I chose the course as I'm a UPSC aspirant and this course will help me in the exams. The faculty here is one of the best in the entire DU circuit. They are really promising and diligent. The department consists of 8 teachers and around 180 students. In the online mode, they teach us in the best possible ways and provide us the study material on google classroom. The term exams were in OBE mode and were quite easy.

The college placement cell conducts webinars covering each and everything for 2nd years to make them prepared for placement in 3rd year. I have heard that the college provides good placement and at very good companies too since it's a north campus college. It's been 5 years since Placement Cell kick-started.

The placement cell of the college is quite active and growing day by day. It provides internship opportunities for all students both paid and non-paid with 120+ companies. Final year students get opportunities to work with really good companies and MNCs like Wipro, Byjus, Vedantu, USI, etc. There are a total of 85+ recruitment companies they are working with. There are internship drives and alumini opportunities also. It organizes workshops and webinars from time to time. They also organize collaboration and events and workshops on cv building. In 2020-21, 70+ students got offer letters from big companies, and there 100% increase in offer letters. The highest package is upto 9 lakhs per annum and a gross package of 4 cr. I'm still thinking about my plans but I'm also thinking of applying for UPSC and civil services.

There are many recruitment opportunities and placement drives in the college and university. Mostly, students of third year are getting the chance to be part of the drive. In my college, all the top companies have conducted their respective drives like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Wipro etc. The total number of offers made varies with different companies. However, 25-30 students were successfully placed. My plans after the degree include going for higher studies or joining a company. I got placed in EY and would like to go for it as well.

Placement cell is the most reputed cell and it provides a lot of opportunities to all the students to get placed into big firms especially the BiG four firms. Every year students get placed into companies with good package.

From the first semester, students can apply for internships. but for the placement being a 3rd-year student is a compulsory. Many reputed companies visited our college campus for conducting internships and placement fairs such as WhiteHat Jr., Accenture, ShareKhan, and so on. The maximum package received was 12 lakhs p.a. for placement and avg. The package lies in the range of 5-6 lakhs p.a. Many students qualify themselves for the placement. Among the registered students, 55%of them get selected for the final selected students. I want to pursue a Doctorate of Philosophy in English only.

Only 3rd-year students are eligible for placement As I have recently passed the 2nd year of my college so I don't have much knowledge about the placements but as much as I have heard, there aren't that many good placements for students which they can depend upon.
