- Gate was entrance exam for this course.i found the application form and details in iitg website only.reservation is available but i am not eligible for that .exams are so difficult .it is so much difficult
- Hostel mess food is very bad, and very less food outlets
- The heavy workload, with assignments, projects, and exams, stress students. balancing studies with extracurriculars and personal life is be tough.

Beautiful Campus with grate placement record and it was among top 7 Engineering College in India. I wanted a good branch too in old iits. On my score I was getting this college so I applied for this. I searched about this college alot on internet, websites like college pravesh, college Duniya, shikha helped me alot, I also searched on YouTube got more detail about this college. I found this college with this branch to be best.

Major factor for choosing IIT Guwahati was the fame it's degree carries. Placement rates are very high. The campus is very beautiful and lively, supporting not only for academic ventures but for non-academic too ranging from drama clubs to social services clubs. IIT Guwahati has a 24hr student support facility which help the student overcome any mental issue. The faculty of IIT Guwahati is Highly qualified and well trained for teaching the students.

IIT Guwahati is one of the top Institute in India and we have many many facilities here and in the college we get more opportunities to get placements and also in IITs not only studies and all other circular activities are encouraged which helps students to develop in all directions.

I like civil engineering side so I opted, college having no reason as selected from MHCET, I tried to get the another college from MHCET but would not received so no other option to get that college.

IIT Guwahati is top 7th college in India and also I got a decent branch (Chemical Engineering). IIT provides recognized B. Tech degree which is the highest degree of engineering as of now in our country.

One thing about the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati it is naturally the best place to live and the weather is good. People are also good. Academic people, administrative people are very helpful. It was the best time of my life.
