NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

The placements are superb in one word. You can seat in placements from the start of 4th year until exam result declaration day. Lot of top companies visit NIT Silchar like, Google, Adani, TATA, and many other big IT giant multinational companies. Around 80-90% student get placements in NIT across all branches. The highest package offered was to the ECE and CSE branch which was 63 LPA and average across all the branch is around 18-20 lacs a year.

~From the 7th sem/ 4th yr students become eligible for campus placements ~Google,Amazon,Microsoft,goldman sachs,infosys .. 200+companies ~highest package was of 44LPA and average was of 13.58LPA ~ 77.5% ~ Still i am not planning to do M.Tech so i will directly join a company

The placements in our college are very good. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . The unplaced students can go further studies like MS ,MTECH . The companies visited our college are atlassian ,Amazon,AWS ,optum, Myntra ,UBS ,Amadeus ,oracle ,sap labs ,mathworks ,Hpcl ,Bpcl,HUL, Goldman Sachs and many startups . The highest package offered by AWS 52 LPA.The average package is 10,00,000 to 12,00,000 for cse and it varies for different branches

Our placements is average as compared to other colleges of national importance and around 70% get placements out of the students eligible and rest of them have to apply and try for offcampus After getting a degree i want to continue with a job

The placements in our campus are good and if we apply for the placements then our cgpa must be 8 or above then only we have chance to apply for all the companies. If we can't get the placements in college thenwe have to try at off campus and other companies.. From 6th or 7th semester students can apply for the placements.and it will continue upto 8th semester. It is intrest of the students. There are many companies like google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Wipro, cognizant and TCS ect. Each and every company will offer many students based on the ideas and talent of the students based on their test and interviews. Highest package upto now is it is 1crore per anum and average package will 14 to 15 lakhs. 80 to 85 percent students are get placed.. After getting degree to get a good and settle in life.

The student start getting internship offers from 5th semester onwards. Most of the renowned companies that visit are amazon , Microsoft, google, ibm and various other. Highest placement for year 2023 was 80lpa and average is 14.39lpa. Placement percentage for year 2023 was- 89.41% The plans after degree completion is to get a good placement.

Campus placement eligibility begins from the seventh semester. Many companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs etc. Our branch average lies around 14-15 Lpa. And usually above 90% students get placed. I myself am planning to sit for placements as I don't wanna pursue higher studies.

Placement stats of my college is very good but in recent 2 years due to continuous recession in the industry it is affecting but I am expecting after 1 or 2 year it will back again to the initial value

Placements are very good as compared to most colleges in India because of NIT tag. From 3rd year onward student can apply to internships that comes in college for hiring interns and during final year students are eligible to sit for placements. Companies like Uber , Amazon , Vedanta , Atlassian , Tata , SAP , Duestche bank , Digit Insurance , IBM , Cairn Oil & gas , Optum , Ericson , Adobe , Black rock , Intuit , Microsoft and many more you can check that out from college website. Highest package offered is 80LPA and avg package is 15LPA. Around 90 percent students placed out of all eligible students.
