Big companies like google microsoft amazon accenture visit NIT Silchar for placements and offers enormous number of opportunities to students. Highest package this year was 55 lakhs and avarage is about 11 lakhs. Percentage of students getting placed this year has fallen down due to recession conpares to last year to 65%. While last year it was 88-89%

Campus placement is the main reason i decided to join this college,last year the average package of CSE is close to 20 lakhs(keeping recession in mind),and overall package is 13-14 plakhs per annum with an outstanding median of 14 lakh per annum,almost all big product based companies and service based companies along with PSUs comes in our college for campus placements.More than 600+ job offers have been provided with an acceptable placement rate.

course is very old typical in style . In exam they were asking same question as they have given in old previous exams . In this way i rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness.

From 7 th semister onwards the student will be eligible for the placements percentage of students placed is about 80 I like to go to another countries for mtech to get better opportunities so that I can earn more salary

Placements opportunity is quite good here at NIT SILCHAR. On campus placement starts just after 3rd year. You can get internship after 2nd year itself. All major companies visit here like google,microsoft, jp morgan etc. Total around 700 offers were made last year.

The course curriculum is above average in terms of its relevance and comprehensiveness. It covers core topics essential to the subject area and provides foundational knowledge that aligns well with industry standards and academic expectations.

The course curriculum is really good pairing you to face the industrial world outside. I'm still a first year student so can't really talk much about it but yeah the college provides really promising placements and the teaching methods are really relevant so far.
