It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

Courses of this University is very good and there is a very good opportunity to exceed ahead in life after passing from this institute .very good campus selection and teachers are well experienced and proved worthy

Why opt for BDS from Jamia Millia

Likes

Every Subject is taught by professors/ asstt prof.
Number of patients are very high in the clinics.
You will get the highest stipened during ur internship

Dislikes

Truely speaking, there is nothing to dislike.
I have one complaint, that is regarding cafeteria. Though we have central canteen but that is outside college premises.

Placement Experience:

Our college has not offered any placements yet, we have placement cell in our University, which is planning to open their centre in our college too, maybe in next one or two years as informed by our university placement cell.

About Faculty of Fine Arts JMI

Likes

Good environment and good people for engaging in a fruitful conversation.
Great faculty support . You can approach the faculty members when in need.
Big campus with a sports complex . The sports complex is also well maintained.

Dislikes

There are no extra curricular clubs . Less opportunities for the people interested in dance music and drama.
The maintenance staff takes too long to repair things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course shapes your mind such that you get to see everyday things in an artistic manner. Even though I feel that the syllabus is now outdated, it provides an idea of how the real world functions. If professors can stay upto date to the content I think they can provide with more up to date assignments for the children. If the Student is attentive and is regularly studying everything , there shouldn't be any problem in attempting the exams.

Jamia : A Revolutionary University

Likes

I liked the secular and revolutionary environment of my university
I liked the cooperative societies and students union who play a significant role in University against any missing by adminstration
I liked the dedicated faculties of every department who work very hard for students to get good opportunities

Dislikes

I even do not like the hostel administration they Provide low quality food to residents

I am a student of journalism in Jamia Millia Islamia University and the course all the syllabus which is design for us in our department is really very helpful for us because I remember when I was doing the internship I knew many things before that because of my professors or the syllabus which I studied in my class

Reality of government colleges

Likes

There is lots of places you can explore because campus is huge.
Students are also quit inteligent so there is a competitive atmosphere amoung students.
Some faculties are very kind and they really helps beyond there duty

Dislikes

Some permanent faculty members are very rude
Some courses need to remove from university because they are not providing any benifits ( skill ) to students
There are some courses with huge amount of fees like Msc banking and finance ( almost 74000)

Placement Experience:

For my course after 3rd sem students are eligible for campus placement but there are some conditions like all paper must be cleared by students. For our course there was a consultant company which provides 7 students placement and some students gets projects.the highest package is 7.9 and the average is 6 . Approx 80% of students of our seniors are placed others are doing internship.after my degree i will definitely try for the campus placement.

Jamia the best university in delhi

The thing which I liked the most is the atmosphere of jamia . You will find the most diversity ever in this University of students. Students coming from different culture is a great thing to admire.
Second thing which I liked is jamias library it open form 9 am to 12 pm . It is air conditioned so it provides great atmosphere for study and research
Third thing which I liked is jamias professor they are very friendly and helpful they help us in every aspect they aspire students to make assignments

Dislikes

Things which I don't like about jamia is its canteen the food which is provided here is not so hygiene
Second thing which I don't like about jamia is the pattern of exam datesheet they took 1 month or more for 5 exams
Third thing which I don't like is that the oxygen of Delhi . In winters the air is not so much oure

The course of political science is very great if a person wants to go in the field of civil services then the course of political science is the best one for a student because it provides us a basic framework for preparations of the upcoming upsc journey

Life in Jamia Millia Islamia

The faculty here is highly qualified and well skilled and I like the way of their teaching.
The food in different canteen has a lot of varieties and is very cheap and good in taste.

Dislikes

Water cooler facility is not properly available at every place.
The classroom doesn't have aur conditioning and it is difficult in summer to be there.
The non veg food in hostel is very limited in quantity.

Placement Experience:

In my batch of 2024, around 50% students got campus placement with highest package being 18 lpa and average package being 6 lpa. The students are eligible for placement from 7th semester and most of the companies visit campus in 7th semester. Some of the companies which offered jobs were - TCS, Accenture, LnT, Siemens, Algosec, HSBC, etc.

There is very good study environment in the college
In this college there is a sports complex which is very good and big in this there is many cricket matchs occurred international or national.
Teachers are very supportive and good in nature.

Placement Experience:

In this college placement is good enough if you have done a decent study then you are placed in a good package and good company. And if you don't do so study related to placement there are some difficulties in getting placed. There are many on-campus and also off-campus placements that occurred in the current session there is 64 lakh the highest package done. And the average package must be 9 lakh or above. And I also prepare for the placements.

My childhood dream college

All professors help the students when they face any problems..they are of helping nature and they always maintain curriculum
All canteens have best service. And the taste is very good and price was also less.

Dislikes

Sometimes office works takes more time like all government works we go .
Nowadays engineering canteen was off but I don't know what was the reason..we have to go more distance for lunch...

Placement Experience:

Our college placement is very good in all branches ..it is nearly average 800000 for civil.and 15 lakh for computer science..and it's campus placement is also at good rate..I know my seniors of civil and they all got placement through campus placement and have at high rate.
