It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

Dislikes

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

The Library - Zakir Hussain library is a massive structure consisting of 1000s of books across various disciplines which makes bookworms love the campus
Lawns - The campus several lawns where the student life thrives
Peer group - one could find a peer group which satisfies the the aim of joining a central university like JMI

Dislikes

Syllabus - the syllabus seems to be outdated as we are currently studying the syllabus designed in the academic session 2016-17
Result - It's been 3 months since our first semester exams are over. But till now [25-4-24] , the results haven't been announced
Not providing enough hostel facilities .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core structure and the curriculum is good but not very good as I have mentioned earlier we are studying the curriculum that was designed in the academic year 2016-17 which team too much outdated. In this current world , economics is of very much importance and it is very essential for us to learn the practical implications of the economic theories as well as the have a great understanding in the modern development in economy theory he is a great importance

It has quite friendly and good environment and the infrastructure are quite good library is the best place in the campus for students
It's a good campus which also encourage students in participating in different activities

My course was BBA because I wanted to learn about business and in the time of pandemic the teacher did there best to provide students with the good student material from which we can learn even by our self.

Review of MBA from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi

Likes

The infrastructure is wonderful consisting of ACs and well equipped technologies in the classrooms.
The faculty is highly professional and are concerned about lectures

Dislikes

The seats in hostel are very less forcing the students to take rooms on rent nearby

Placement Experience:

The Department of management studies itself has a placement cell that consists of students and is headed by a faculty member. Every year renowned companies such as Honda, Vedantu etc. visit the campus for placements and get the students onboard.

Likes

I like the infrastructure, spacious classrooms, faculty,canteen,books
Courses there are lots of courses that are provided by the institution u can take admission according to your convenience.
I like the books provided by the college, they are very descriptive and contains very useful information about each concepts.

Dislikes

I don't like the delaying exams pattern of the institution
They delayed the exams usually in the correspondence courses.

I am working that's why I have chosen distance mode course .it is so convenient as we just have to give exams annually. And we have to submit assignments annually which consists of 30 marks per subject. It provides very comprehensive books to students which helps in learning. The area where it can be improved is that there should be proper schedule of exams and course there should be no delays of exams and assignments. Papers are moderate to difficult level .one should check the difficulty level by going through the pyqs .

Likes

The campus of this college is very big there are lots of trees
The sanitation facility of this college is so clean
The faculty of this college is very good they always clear my doubts

Dislikes

There is an offline paper work system in this college is very bad
Ther is no air conditioning facility for first year student
There is no green board in classrooms white board is not suitable for students

This course is very nice course in this is a technology course in this course I study about the computer engineering and the faculty of my course is very good they take all classes and clear all doubts of all students

Reality of central university

Likes

I like the simplicity and nature environment of jamia the greenery and calmness
Sports complex which allows us to play games
The free wifi facilities and AC classroom

Dislikes

The quality of canteen food which is unhygienic and oily
The gatekeeper doens't check I'd card regularly which allows outsiders to enter the campus
The mandatory attendance of 75 percentage

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum or syllabus is not much good as in Delhi University but it was my dream university that's why I opted here. The geographical knowledge helped me to solve various real world problems The syllabus must be short and accurate like in Delhi school of economics

JMI campus are very beautiful and The environment here is very good
Canteen food is very tasty and delicious.
Studying here is very good, classrooms are nice and clean.

Dislikes

Placement in engineering department is not good.
Students come late to class and sometimes even teachers come late.

Placement Experience:

6th semester students are eligible to placement Many companies are offered job like Wipro, Samsung, Indian oil, also technical companies and other companies 3 lac per annum average package and highest package is 18-20 lac per annum 70 or 75 percentage students are getting job

The Infrastructure of Building are very attractive
The Professor are well qualified and professional
Library is very professional and avails various book facilities

Dislikes

Admission process is delayed and administrative process is not too Good
Many rooms of different departments has to be renovated and redesigned.
There is absence of various New Technology in University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

M.A Geography is one of the best and professional Post Graduation Course .It provides you professional knowledge and aspects of Geography.Geography is inter-connected and it makes inter-connected chains with other subjects. It is a continuous growing and developing subject. The course and curriculum provides you different perspectives and approach to find solutions of Geographical,Political ,Social etc problems. However there is need to add more and more current affairs topics in this course . Each Year is consist of two semester and the exams are held in every semester.

Professor's teaching styles,Extra activities,Placements.
Campus Placements are better in this University.
Libraries are well organised and behaviour of librarians are good.

Placement Experience:

In this University students are eligible for the internal or external placements after 3rd semester.The placements packages that are offered to students are very handsome.TCS , Tech Mahindra, Tata Power,ISRO and many more companies visits there.

A day in Jamia.

Likes

Everyone can find a club they can feel they belong to.
The teachers and students are very helpful to each other.

Dislikes

The examination centre mishandles student's complains and it is very inconvenient.
The management of the infrastructures is poorly handled.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been structured brilliantly. The first two semesters cover ancient history, the third and fourth semesters cover medieval history while the last two is for modern history. The faculty members are well qualified and are extremely helpful to the students. Briefly, every topic for the Masters course get taught. The exams are conducted timely and are held in their own campus. The student to faculty ratio is not very impressive as the students outnumber the professors 60 to 1.
