It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

Jamia Millia Islamia: An Overview

I liked the infrastructure of the college, Environment And Specially The Teachers Who Are Very Helpful.
College is in a very good location just in between two metro stations so it's too easy to go there.
The beauty of the campus is mesmerizing, trees, flowers everything is perfectly placed. One of the most beautiful university in India.

Dislikes

Nothing more that I can dislike, but still politics in this university is one thing I don't liked.
There is only one ground for playing sports that's also a minus point.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is primarily focused on the UPSC Examination Patterns so that can be helpful to the students who were willing to get in the civil services. They would have provided us the weekly test on the same pattern of UPSC. So that would have been beneficial for us Timing of exam and classes are perfectly balanced. So that every student can be comfortable with that

I liked the environment of the college so far. The campus is huge. There are lot of opportunities for the students. Extra curriculum activities are incorported.
A student has an opportunity to make his career in sports, theatre and studies as well. Each department held their own fest every year.
One can also move out to abroad for higher studies if they perform well in their semesters.

Dislikes

The things which I disliked is the way of educaing students. This is the common problem with the schools and colleges all over india.
We have a traditional way of teaching students which is not effective any more. The main obejctive should be towards the learning and adapting things accordingly.
The highlight is again with the indian schools and colleges is that there is no cricket team for womens.

Placement Experience:

There are internship placement for my course. As you know it is a bachelor course and one has to understand the concept of the work before getting it done. The degree and the name of the college matters alot in the market.

Likes

There canteen was good and atmosphere is awesome when I went there first time
Another college life experience I have seen people cherish the most is the annual fest.
College life is completely different from school life. It gives us more exposure and also makes us more confident. Our teachers act more like friends in college, whereas in school they’re like our mentors.

Dislikes

According to me in my collage there was not parking area like big road.
I have seen security gaurd so many but they argue always while opening the gate.
In my collage for many years not looking like new they do not pant in the wall.

I was a teacher of NGO and I thought of students me experience based on that i will teach on my methode that was so easy and I have been thought to the students i started to take the exam they got passed and I have been influnced daily to the child.

The top courses of Jamia like Ballb, mass communication, B.Tech and history and all masters courses are very very good . The management of university is good
The campus life of jamia is next level you can't find it in any other places. The campus is very beautiful and vast. Libraries are good. Totally the culture of jamia is most adorable thing i observed here

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to be à civil servant. But to attend Upsc you have to be a graduate. So normally I have to graduate from any subject. So I thought why I am not pursuing graduation in that subject or courses by completing I can be able to earn something and support my family. This was the main reason for choosing this course. Language is good in Jamia but there are also many improvements like teacher teaching quality, semester time, etc.

I like the area ,surroundings.College feels like another home .
I like their examinations stretegy.Some teachers are so helpful.
I like other department who has a lot of facility rather than us.

Dislikes

I dont like our clases. It's so old no renovation is there.
There is no lift facility ,our class room are on the 3rd floor so They should construct lift.
There is no AC in classes as We are paying a lot of fee in this department. We don't get any facility on the bases of that.

As I admission is for seeing our clg jamia it is the number one college but when I entered in it. It was awesome college you can easlity get paid after your course there is lot of placements programm and there is a group for the jobs..

Jamia's library has excellent infrastructure and wifi facilities are also available.

Dislikes

The placement cell is not much active here.
Jamia has pretty good infrastructure but there is a lack of hostels for both boys and girls.
The faculty here are not that hard working or motivated.

Placement Experience:

Placement depens on branch you are in. Computer science has excellent placement and almost 90% students gets placed where in case of other branches it is also good but in case of core branches like civil or mechanical placement are less in core areas but you can try in nom tech or can go for competetive examination since no of jobs of these bramches are more in government sector.

The faculty is very good..they have a good teaching experience
There is more interaction with the students on the basis of debates..class participation is one thing I like the most
Department often organise seminars on different topics and they call upon best historians for the sessions

Dislikes

Class infrastructure is not that good and should be improved
There is no emphasis on fests and other fun activities which are an important part of college life
Another thing which should be improved is the veg food items in the canteens

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the course is of three years and it covers the ancient ,medieval and modern history of India as well as world,which is very helpful even in terms of knowledge and if someone wants to prepare for any competitive exams it helps a lot

Head and Tail of Jamia Millia Islamia

One of the best thing which I liked here is the study environment, which is so good. Students are goal oriented, well guided by the professors.
Infrastructure is also pretty decent here. One can found so many different type of buildings here
NCC of Jamia is also one of the most active NCC in Delhi.

Dislikes

Less ECA activities is one of the thing I dislike here, except some clubs, Jamia do not have much ECA exposure.
Placement opportunities are also not great here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in history dept, so I found the curriculum pretty good for history enthusiasts, it is well framed by the department professors. I believe the curriculum prepares us for real-world application in pretty good manner it teaches us innovative ideas which cannot be learn from reading books. But still there is scope for improvement, such as sometimes I felt syllabus is quite outdated so it needs some upgradation. Frequency and timing of exams are well planned which do not lad the student with burden. It makes the process less hectic. The difficulty level varies from paper to paper and also professor to professor, so sometimes it is possible that one may get easy paper but sometimes difficult too.

Very affordable course fees, high return of investment
Decent placements and opportunities due to location

Dislikes

Some labs have old and outdated equipments
Curriculum and and course structure is not updated
Less exposure and support for competitions

Placement Experience:

For 3rd yr students, there are companies available for summer internship such Accenture which also gives ppo. Generally for placements , more than 50% of students get placed. Companies like tcs, accenture, renew, energo, tata power, edf , L & T etc visit for placements. I have been placed at Renew for 9 LPA
