After completing BSc, MSc or PhD students become eligible for campus placements. In 2020 total of 52 companies participated in campus placements. And the highest package is 41 lac per annum. And the average package is like 5 lac per annum. No of the students getting placements is like 257. My plan after getting a degree is that I will do further studies like MSc and then PhD because it's better if you want a beautiful job for you.

From the fifth semester, students are eligible for campus internships , companie often take the students for the intership training more than eighty percent of the batch are selected by the reputed companies during the placement period.

From 5 th semester, students became eligible for campus placements, highest package for a diploma from Jamia millia islamia is 60 lakh, which is quite good, after i get my degree i will take admission in Btech

The students becomes eligible for campus placements in their last semester. The visiting companies and offers varies each year, but the average is quite decent. The highest CTC for last year was around Rs 40 LPA and the average is around Rs 4-7 LPA. Companies like Microsoft and Deloitte are star recruiter. This year the drive was conducted virtually due to Covid-19 pandemic and more than 10 MNCs participated in the placement drive. The highest Package was offered by Microsoft which was Rs 41 LPA and the average was Rs 7 LPA. Percentage of Students getting placements is around 60-79%. After completing my Diploma In Civil Engineering, I'm looking Forward to complete B.E/B.Tech in civil discipline. After that, I'll try to get placement, or will apply for decent paying job.

I am interested in Mathematics and I want to research computers and Mathematics. Our Faculty is Faculty of Natural Science and it consists about 12 departments my department of Mathematics is one of them. ratio is 10:1 Faculty teachers are very supportive. during my first, we were taught by research scholars mostly but in 2nd year we have professors. There is 2 assignment in each semester and semester exam. passing the exams is depend upon you and how seriously you attended the lectures and made notes.

The placement is good for MBA students. Almost over 90% of students get place every year. The process starts from the 3rd semester onwards. Companies such as TATA, Birla, Flipkart, Amazon, ICICI Bank, Zomato and others come for placements. The average package is 4 – 6 LPA while the highest package goes around 15 LPA. Students opt for off campus drives as well and grant handsome packages.

Placement is the only thing I have a negative impression about my course from Jamia. I think there are no proper placement facilities for small courses like mines. Students of BA, BCom, B.Sc, and other non-technical courses go through this issue. As for big courses like B.tech etc, Jamia has a very good placement record. But about my course, we had very few chances. And that too is not so interesting and attractive. We had no internship opportunities and the placement cell also works not so well for us. We were not well informed about any such companies. Like others, we were not taught about any interview ethics and resume techniques. But I've heard B.tech etc are good in this. So if you are in my type of course from Jamia, you have to work hard and do something for urself. Go for off-campus placements and internships. It will be easy to get because Jamia University has a good name. Go for higher exams like cat, gate, etc, and make your path yourself. The teachers no doubts will help you always.

From 6 semesters students can find internships so they have professional experiences and placements started before semester exams of 8 semesters. A good number of companies came here to hire freshers like l&t, HCL etc. I don't have much idea about others but l&t provide an average package of 4 lacs per annum and a higher package goes 27 lacs per annum, almost 60 % students get placed in well organized firms. My plan is to qualify for gate with under 1000 rank and then MTech later join a PSU or move foreign.

90%+ students are placed in the college placements and most students are placed for the 4-6 LPA packages. The highest package offered in 2020 was 14.5 LPA. Many students also seek employment outside the college placement and are able to find good packages outside as well. The campus placement is organised for all four MBA programs. Placements began in the third semester around Oct-Dec. Companies like EY, Zomato, and Bajaj Finance participate in the campus drive. I plan to find a good job with a big 4 after I graduate.

As of time of writing this article our placement cell has driving and as far i got a 12LPA job offer in a MNC in field of consulting for undergraduates. But most of the students has plan to study further before getting job and also some students are interested in government job. Average package lies between 3-4 LPA
