It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

Description of JMI

Likes

The environment of our university is very eco-friendly and surrounded by plants and birds.
Some teachers are so good in teaching as well as very cooperative and friendly.
There is no ragging or bullying is allowed in the Campus. Jamia exoell the one who bully.

Dislikes

Mathematics department is less engaged in any kind of entertainment purposes like fests and freshers and all.
There is no more such kind of activity except studying in maths department
Very less interaction in between senior and junior so we've to resolve everything ourself only

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love mathematics so i opt this course also in mathematics we dont have to memorize just supposed to understand the concept so i love that. Beside this there are lots of coperate sectors jobs which hire the maths hons students and we can also further eligible to do masters in any subjet after this course.

The journey of my college life

Likes

There is a good atmosphere in the college
There is no ragging in the college and safe for girls too
It has a big play ground for the students

Dislikes

They doesn’t open every gate of campus so students have to walk a distance
Students have to run to different campuses to a far distance
This is no lift facility in the college there are some lifts that are not working

Likes

The campus is very active. It is always crowded.
My classmates are very supportive. They help in every situations.
Some professors are very good. Their teaching is very helping.

Dislikes

The administration. Their lazy behavior make us regret going to them for help.
The infrastructure. The department is very congested. .
Some professors are worst. Some of them don't even know English.

Curriculum is okay. They really trying to make Some impact but it is not working as expected. Some professors trying their best to teach something good out of curriculum. Because they couldn't find what they wanted in the curriculum.

First things that I liked about my college is that fees is very affordable according to the course .
Infrastructure and environment is very good , in each class there is ac, wifi ,projectors .
Teachers are very much educated and they are helpful to students.

Dislikes

semester should be of minimum 4 months at least.
sometimes schedule become hectic due to more no of classes
Delay in the result is one of the issues .

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . The companies visited are l&t, shree cement, BEL, OCCL , QBIT , Accenture . The highest package was 9 lpa and lowest package was 5.4 lpa and average package was 6lpa. 55% of student got placed .

A Regular Student

Likes

The faculty is quite experienced and professional.
The curriculum is always up to date and the management never fails to cease.
The Infrastructure is magnificent, with Large spacious buildings and seperate buildings for different courses/purposes.

Dislikes

The girls boys ratio is disaster with there being one girl in every 10 students.
The Social life is vibrant yet reserved in itself.
Only the best can even attempt to sit for placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is aeronautical engineering and I find it quite amusing and entertaining as it covers All the aspects of aviation and there is nothing that is taught which Might not be of relevance. The teaching methods are fantastics with top notch equipments to assist the teacher. The frequency of exams is a perfect balance.

WHY PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION FROM JAMIA?

Likes

Faculty members are very qualified and renowned scholars which gave us a good connection and knowledge
The office staff is very helpful you will get full support regarding any query and documentation
Classrooms are very neat and clean and campus is very beautiful and full of greenery

Dislikes

Placement cell is not much of efficient which can be improved
Menus in canteen are limited so limited choice to eat
Class timings are so hectic this can be improved by giving more break in between

Placement Experience:

Student of last semester is eligible for placement last year various ngos and corporate companies visted eg. smile foundation and Infosys and torrent . There was only 4 students sit for placement and 3 of them placement. Mostly students don't sit for placement instead they enrolled themselves in phds and various government jobs.. im planning for phd for abroad.

Overall a good college with high fee for self financed courses

Likes

Most professors are good and highly educated
Classes from 2nd year have ACs and good facilities.
Large campus and mush green area also has a sports complex

Dislikes

No air conditioner for first year students
Some teachers are old rude and angry so be aware of them
Course fee is too high as for regular course it’s only 16k per year while ours is 150k self financed

Placement Experience:

The campus offers decent placement in companies like Wipro, EXL, TCS, et cetera. The average package goes from four lakh to 8,00,00 per annum. The highest sometimes goes for 22,00,00 or I think once it went for 40,00,00 for some international company. a lot of decent companies visit the campus, which include Wipro, Exl, TCS, DMRC, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra basically companies from every branch, whether it is computer or mechanical or civil. Most of the students to get decent placements. However, my plan is to go for higher studies, but I will consider if I get a decent package.

Jamia ,one of the best college for pursuing physiotherapy

I like the environment of my institution because there are no vulgarity inside campus
I like the way teachers approaches the student and solve their problems
I like the class rooms facilities like projectors for smart teaching.I like my department different labs facilities like anatomy lab , physiology lab , sleep analysis lab etc

Dislikes

I dislike the Hectic schedules, more than 5 internals per year
I dont like burden of many students like more than 9-10 subjects per year
I dont biasness in the department, faculty should treat everyone equally

Course Curriculum Overview:

Clinical postings, anatomy physiology biomechanics,Pt neuro,pt ortho, pt sports are the main subjects or reasons to choose this course Help to purse different field of physiotherapy like international sports , many big hospitals recruit students of specific field Reduce subjects and exams per year , teachers should interact more with students then reading ppts 4-5 internals, and one university exam annually Internals are more difficult because of frequency of exams

Likes

First infrastructure is very good and furnished
All faculty are well and many teachers are available
Clinical experience is excellent in all ways

Dislikes

MDS is not available here that is little negative point
Batch strength is not only fifty students
General ward is not available so that is disadvantage

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding the course curriculum, it is well decided and there is a hospital inside the college so the experience is much better because 1st you learn and apply that to the practical work. One thing to note that we have completed COMPLETE DENTURE AND REMOVABLE PARTIAL DENTURES FABRICATION IN SECOND YEAR ONLY
