It's a beautiful campus and well reputed university and the teaching staff is great with good experience
Every faculty members are not perfect but mostly are enough good with teacher and student bonding mind-blowing i can praise every staff members as well professors whose role is shaping students future wow
The hostels are quite decent and the food quality is also good.

Dislikes

THE 2ND CONS WILL BE ABOUT THE CAMPUS. SMOKING IS BAN IN CAMPUS BUT SOME CANTEENS SELL IT ILLEGALY WHICH IS NOT GOOD. 2. SOME CASES OF RAGING ARE ALSO SHOWN TIME TO TIME
In Jamia there is so many courses but the management for all courses are not enough good. Administration should take action regarding all the courses. Nowadays in jamia the management is going slow down. I mean it not effective in favour of students.
I don't like to Cheers of my university,and there are lots of things which have no importance of using in jamia Millia Islamia University and there are lots of disturbance in reading hall of jamia

JMI frok eye of 1st sem student

Campus is huge 250 acres of campus bigger then any college of DU
Canteen food is too good they have veg and non veg option available and the quality and price is very affordable and tasty as well.
Faculty is great all the research and reputed government professors are appointed. Which helps in self development

Dislikes

Classes are for long hours my class start from 9am and ends at 3pm
Boys and girl ratio there are more number of girls
Washroom are not too good they are actually in bad condition

Placement Experience:

Studetnts are elegible for placement after 8th semester. All the big companies come and vist for placement. BCom hons is not course whivh will get your carrear for whole life it can only allow you to enter in market avg placement is 6 lakh per annum highest is 16 lakh per annum. I am pursuing CFA also soo definitely i will be getting more then this because of certificate.

The Jamia Review

Likes

The campus life, the fees that is affordable.
The faculty they are very supportive, and also the hostel life here is best.
And the sports complex, we have the largest cricket playing ground, and famous cricketer also played here Virender Shahwag.

Dislikes

The guard, they are not good. They used ro treat us very badly
The canteen foods, they are very unhygienic.
The campus is divided into two parts, that sounds strange but it ok, there is also a bad point is administration

7th semester, this year optum came and took 12 students with paying 18,000,00 lakhs per anum, second is Accenture they apid 12 lakhs per annum took 2 students and one intern, also many other companies came here, 50 percents, my plans are fixed to go for gate.

Experience From Distance

Likes

The class strength is quit low and that's why the teacher can pay attention to each studying student
The campus life is quite better than other universities in delhi
The infrastructure is of old times and that gives some ancient.vibes and a great architect

Dislikes

The system is very slow in terms of providing study learning Material

I took bba because my future goals are very clear and i am doing some business that's why i took the option to do it from distance learning and jamia providing many courses from distance learning also

Specially the thing I like about my college is the environment and the culture of my college . Their is no ragging senior and junior were very friendly and teachers also.
I spend a lot of time in college it is like my second home and talking about social college gives me a lot of friends.
I don't think place ment cell is good of my college but the student after graduating from Jamia are self sufficient after the college they will easily find a prosperous job

Dislikes

Thing I don't like about my college is the reservation to the criteria
Department employee are very rude their is no proper communication between them
Their is alot of refrence in the college if you have refrence you can do anything in the college

Placement Experience:

From 4 sem student eligible for the internship . Many companies come for the placement like samsung , indigo , Google and many more . And student also get a very high package . As this is a central university every company want to get into it and get the student from Jamia Their is a small no. Of student getting placed due to placement cell is not good but those got place a very high package. My plans after degree is I ll try to get placed in indigo airlines as a Aircraft maintenance engineer.

Likes

The facilities provided within the campus like printout services, canteens, etc are very helpful.
The college campus is full of green trees.
There is very friend relations among students.

Dislikes

Only few fests are organised throughout the year.
Hostel services are not available for all students.
Sports Complex is not available to play for every student.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided by the college. Mostly students get eligible for placements at the end semester of their course. Cisco followed closely with an offer of ?24 lakh. Other notable offers included ?8 Lakh from Optum, ?16 lakh from McKinley Rice, etc.

I like about my college is that this provides very good opportunities to build yourself.
And placement of my college is very best.
Campus life is good every student behave very well.

Dislikes

College need to arrange some fest and all.
Needs to improve some courses and administration.
Need to improve classes because they are old in condition.

Placement Experience:

By last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Company's are Tata, HCL, Honda, ITC, Zomato, etc In 2023 some of top recruiters at jmi were KPMG, Accenture and DLF. Good placement record with the highest salary package for the 2024-25 academic year reaching rs 24.5 lac

things that i have like the most is the great exposure that one gets after enrolling in this university, the faculties are top noch and moreover the students that are enrolled in this college are just one of the best of the country
you are also gonna like the infrastructure the beauty of jamia is unbeatable , the greenery here is breathtaking you are gonna love the campus life here almost all the time you will find student roaming around in the campus

Dislikes

The administration it just need to be made better you will have to run here and there just for one small thing
the campus is great but the tea here is what i somewhat dislike

Course Curriculum Overview:

My goal was to do UPSC CSE after college and the curriculum if seen closely is too much related to the Cse syllabus so that was the reason i chose this couse The currriculum would give you a new perspective to see the world Subjects like history sociology psychology would nurture you into becoming best of you To be honest i dont think the course need improving , its just better faculties should be alloted for the Public administration the exam is moderate level like all the university exams you will get enough gaps in between the examination to prepare for it

Likes

The staff was really cooperative, professors really helped with the academic as well as emotionally
Jamia doesn't provide placement but they provide internship opportunities in this course
One of my molecular biology professor when arranged a pcr workshop to show us how different technology work

Dislikes

Canteens are not enough,there should be more
There were 2-3 professors which I didn't like, and the worst thing is they don't even change them
Teaching method of professor is very good there with each and every concept clearance

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I have given different medical exam including NEET,AIIMS ,JIPMER but unfortunately I didn't makeup to them I got cleared each time but didn't score much to secure a seat in government mbbs college so I opted for this course as it is a paramedic course and they are providing students with that environment

Likes

Faculty are very good in university all faculty are very supportive and they very well and clear all doubt.
All types of Sports are available in sports complex and every one come with id card and play in sports complex
In university library are very big and wit full wifi support

Dislikes

In Jamia university canteen is not good they not maintain hygiene
In Jamia network problem occurs in class
Girl and boys ratio is not good in university 1 and 2 girls in over 70 boys

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very interesting and engaging because in first semester every field is teaching like my program is mechanical but in my course in first semester constitution of India , electrical, civil English are included
