I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Our college has a very positive outlook to changing times and tries it's best to keep up with it. Giving freedom to students in all the student organised fests and fully supporting all student organised endeavors.

Life of a student at NITK

Remarks:

Positive points are more green campus, good friends, near by manglur district (which has malls & many tourists places). Negative points are climate condition is not good, no winter (6 months rainy & 6monts summer), some times water problem.

One of many sexist college.

Remarks:

It's a best college and your voice will seldom be heard unless it benefits the college in monetary terms or reputation. They promise you false hopes and abandon you in time of need. The mindset is backward and women here face the brunt of it from their colleagues and their professors.

Remarks:

Positive is well supportive upto 90%placements and only private beach of any other college in india. Awesome infrastructures of all the sports and labs and also cicuit and non cirxuit buildings and when I say 90% placements it applies to all the branches. We also have beautiful gardens which is one of the perfect places. Also we have health care center where people who are injures can go to doctors and of free of cost.also canteens are there too. We also have post office and banks and a wonderful library.Overall our college campus is about 295 acres.

NITK IT Review

Remarks:

College is great however the administration facility is a bust. We could use a better basketball court but that's only cause I play for the team here. We do face power cuts every now and then but it's pretty manageable really.

We all prepared for years together and then performed in the jee mains examination. We chose our college's and added them to a priority list. Then we got the seat when all above us filled their choices.

Remarks:

Study wise college is really great but teaching is not great people people are amazing facilities are amazing but things are not regulated frequently complaints are not really bothered much easily there is a huge amount of delay for any work to be done by the college

Remarks:

Overall the college is a very good place for me. I like being in the college especially cause of the kind of people I interact with good freedom is also given as there is no limit to the block timings in the hostel and also the libraries are huge you can find many different kinds of books there.

About My College

Remarks:

Mainly everybody will come to the college for education.In the aspect of education NITK is one of the best colleges in India.Professors will be helpful, infrastructure is good and many companies will visit the campus for recruitment.Campus will have good atmosphere and infrastructure , basic facilities like HCC,sports complex.And many more cultural and technical clubs which are in the college will be conducting workshops.Film club is also present which screens a film at least one movie a month.Of course in any college some minor issues will be there which you have to adjust

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
